For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking Zepbound for four months and have lost 23 lbs so far. In terms of facilitating weight loss, it is a miracle drug. I eat less without feeling hungry, and I don't think about food. But there are definite side effects-diarrhea (this is the worst-can last for days), constipation (yes, the diarrhea quickly turns to constipation), heartburn (easily controlled), and some fatigue in the first 24 hours. I was on 2.5 for 1 month, then went up to 5 (ish). For me, the worst side effects kick in at 5. I am getting the medication in a vial so I can easily adjust the dose a bit. A couple of weeks ago, I went down to 4.5, and the side effects were much less severe. I'm experimenting to see where in the 4.5 to 5 range I get a balance between weight loss and side effects that I feel comfortable with. Right now, I am still losing weight. After another 10 lbs, I will be at a healthy weight and hope I can decrease the dose to maintain weight loss and reduce side effects."
