"I've been on Zepbound for 3 months. I have lost a total of 56.4 lbs. I have learned from friends I work with and other people's testimonies that use Zepbound that most people that don't lose weight don't want to try to change their eating habits, like giving up sugar. Even my doctor that's on it has struggles with this, lol. Zepbound is an awesome friend, a tool that helps with the fight, but you also have to be willing to make lifestyle changes too, and if you do, you'll see bigger results. Giving up sugar is the best thing that I have done for myself, I don't even crave it anymore and feel better than I ever have."

"I have been on Zepbound for 6 weeks. (4 weeks 2.5) (2 weeks at 5.0) I have lost 23 lbs. 307-284 I ride bike/treadmill and lift weights. I eat 2300 calories a day. If I happen to eat too much, I don't seem to notice. But what I do notice is I don't crave food like before. Before, I used to still be hungry after dinner. Not anymore. That part of my brain that was ravenous for more is gone."

"I have been on Zepbound for two months and have lost only 9 pounds. I don't eat breakfast because I am not hungry, this has been a lifelong habit of mine. I am hungry at noon and eat more than I should. I have found that I am eating too fast, which is causing me to not have the weight loss that I would have if I ate slower. I have noticed that when I eat slower, I stop eating when I am halfway done with my meal. Hopefully, I can break a lifelong habit of eating fast. I have no side effects from the drug or overeating."

"I have just started on the 2.5 mg dose. This is the end of my second week. I’m not experiencing any side effects except belching. I’m really looking forward to my weight loss and feel confident that with some walking daily and use of light weights I will reach my goal. I’m not overdoing the exercise, as when I do, I regrettably always quit. I’m paying for this out of pocket, so this is also a great motivator for me (get my money’s worth!) Using the injection is no problem, and I’m also looking forward to no more snoring (sleep apnea), which is a bonus as I didn’t know about that until I started taking it. This will please my husband! I’m purchasing it through Eli Lilly and my dr. sends them my script, I pay them monthly, and they send it to me via mail. I’m hoping Medicare may cover this in the future, as it’s been in the news it will if you have sleep apnea."

"Zepbound was effective within the first week. I experienced a significant decrease in hunger and decreased interest in food. I also found that I could not always finish a meal serving in one sitting. Initially, I had minor issues in bowel habits (constipation and diarrhea). Both symptoms are minor and managed with adequate hydration and fiber-rich foods. More disconcerting have been the “egg burps” caused by bacterial action on sulfur-rich foods in a slowed GI system. I have selected less sulfur-rich foods and make a concerted effort to drink more water during a day or two following the weekly injection. This side effect seems to have moderated, perhaps as I am into the second month of my current dosage and third month on Zepbound and/or temporarily minimizing sulfurous food intake in a short period following injection. I also track my food intake and assure I am eating an adequate level of protein. I have lost 15 pounds in 10 weeks. I am 77 and a woman."

"Well, I am beyond the moon now that I have been approved by my insurance to take Zepbound! I have been trying to lose weight for years, practically killing myself with diets and exercise that just didn't work for my body type. I am a 59-year-young lady weighing in at 188.6 lbs. I am looking forward to my much-needed and wanted weight loss experience with Zepbound! I did my homework... Now let's go!"

"I started 2.5 on 1/12/25. I haven't had any side effects. What I have noticed is the reduction in my need to snack. I was always wanting something after dinner. One snack turned into 2 or 3. I don't feel that way anymore. Sometimes I feel that I don't want to eat what's in front of me at mealtimes, but I am trying very hard to eat and keep protein up. I lift heavy weights 4 days a week, and I want to retain muscle if this ends up helping me finally lose the weight I've been burdened with for my entire life. I did get a bruise at the injection site. I can't wait to weigh myself to see if I've lost. So far, feeling great!"

"I am so happy with Zepbound! I have lost 20 pounds in 3 months after 25 years of trying every diet, gimmick, supplement known to man, and nothing worked except this! My frustration and disappointment come from the insurance company that won't pay for it. I have been paying out of pocket, I get vials and do my own injections to save money. Now I need to go up in dose, and my new insurance turned me down even though I meet all the criteria. I did an appeal, and they came up with another reason to turn me down. I'm on my second appeal, and it's not looking good, so I guess I just have to blow up to 300 lbs and get diabetes and have a heart attack, which all runs in my family, before they will have to pay for it. The system is rigged! I have not had any side effects or problems with this medication."

"I started on Friday, March 21, and had no side effects for the first two weeks. Then I overate cheesy pasta and had severe diarrhea. The next 10 days, I had three more episodes of diarrhea and vomiting. And severe fatigue. I was not able to continue my exercise routine as often as usual. The fatigue after minimal activity was interfering with my life. I cannot walk more than a few blocks. I stopped the injections three weeks ago, and for the most part, I have intermittent fatigue. It apparently takes about 25 days for the med to be out of the system. I lost 9 pounds after the first 3 or 4 weeks and have not gained them back. I didn't have quite the same separation of thoughts of food as I had expected. Hopefully, only another week or two to get my energy back."

"I've finished my 5th month of Zepbound injections. The dose pen makes the injection simple and painless. It took me a few weeks to actually feel that this was changing my appetite or cravings, but once it did, I have no problem resisting the habitual munching. Although my diet changes have helped the amount of food I eat at one time, I don't get the full feeling that a lot of people talk about. So I have to know when to push away from the servings. This was prescribed for weight loss, but I do have sleep apnea as well. I've lost 20 lbs, which matches the estimated 1 lb per week under this med. My goal weight is a 40 lb reduction. The only side effects that I've noticed are primarily increased gas and constipation if I don't push the fluids. So far, it's been a positive experience and I look forward to added results."

"I started at the beginning of May 2024 at a weight of 236. My doctor recently retired, and I was seeing his PA, and he started me on Zepbound 2.5 for a month. I had lost several pounds and moved to 5.0 mg, which I am still on, today is September 17. The PA and I agreed that this dose seems to be working well for me - today, I am 186 pounds! This medication is amazing! I have had no side effects at all."

"Started Zepbound 2.5 mg just 3 days ago. For the first time in my LIFE, I am eating to nourish my body, and not to satisfy hunger or cravings! Super excited to see how the weight will drop with new habits. Downside, I wasted a pen the very first time I injected because I didn't remove the grey closure. My fault for not thoroughly following the instructions but total bummer because the cost of this med is not cheap and the pharmacy says they can't fill an Rx for just one pen. It would be nice if the manufacturer of the drug would allow a single pen to be purchased for a lesser cost."

"I had my first injection 4 days ago. I weighed in at 215. I have already seen a significant change in my desire to eat. I don't even consider eating until late afternoon now, while before, all I could think about was food and snacks. I work at a desk 8 hrs a day and have little opportunity to move. I also work in the medical field and have done extensive research. I am not one to try the latest trend or take medications. I had reservations about this journey, but I just felt like I needed to pop in and say I feel great with no side effects thus far, my mind feels better, and I have already lost some weight. I was educated by my Dr that I would not see immediate results, but I have!! He asked me to be patient with it, and I thought that this drug didn't sound promising. Others may not have experienced this, but I have!"

"I started this medication in August 2024, and I have lost 35 lbs as of the beginning of November. I am very satisfied with this medication. I have rheumatoid arthritis, and being able to lose this weight has definitely helped my joint pain. I have tried other medications along with diet and exercise, and none have been as successful as Zepbound. I have been lucky that I have not had any side effects with this medication. I only have 15 more lbs to go. I would recommend this medication to anyone that has had trouble losing weight with other regimens."

"50-year-old female with 100 lbs to lose and PCOS. Been on Zepbound for 6 weeks (just took 7th shot). Minimal side effects. Occasional nausea, headaches, and sore muscles, usually the day after injection, but they go away by the next day. Taking the 5 mg dose right now. I have been getting large injection site rashes with itching, burning, and swelling with the last 3 doses. The swelling and itching go down after 3-4 days, but the red spots are still visible from all 3 of the previous doses. I didn't get this with the 2.5mg dose at all. Hoping it was just this last box of the medicine and the next will be better. I have only lost 5 lbs in the 6 weeks I have been on it, which has been very disappointing. It has lowered my blood pressure though. It was on the high side of normal before, now it's perfect. Really hoping that going up to the 7.5mg dose will start having better results for me as I have got a long way to go, and hopefully the skin reactions won't get worse."

"I’m almost 46. I have been struggling with weight loss all my life, joined food addiction programs, and tried other diets, and nothing worked. I lost some but gained it right back. I started at 220, but in numbers, I was not diabetic, so my insurance wouldn’t cover weight loss medication. My doctor worked with me for months and kept trying until it was finally approved. I did manage to get down to 186 pounds before starting on Zepbound. I have lost an additional 22 lb in 2.5 months! I’m at 164 now, and I haven’t been here in years. I can relate to many of the comments here. I don’t think about food, no cravings. I feel satisfied. I have been doing one meal a day, and I feel great. I don’t feel anxious, deprived, or hungry. I don’t worry about what I’m going to eat next. I don’t catch myself always snacking. It’s changed my brain in a way that I’m at peace. Just started on a 7.5 gm, and I did have some nausea just the very first day, but no other side effects."

"Started out great. Moved to 5.0 and had AWFUL vomiting on day 3 after injection. Dr. tried to move me back to 2.5 but Rx store was unable to get it. Went 5 weeks before it was restocked. Started 2.5 again with 0 effect. And I mean zero. Moved to 5.0 and the nausea is there, but so far, no vomiting. What concerns me is that I have suddenly been struggling with an elevated pulse and higher than normal BP. Wasn't an issue before, so not sure if it's related or incidental. May stop it because I just don't feel good. In addition over the 5 months of on and off again, I am down 4 pounds...and following a reasonable diet plan. Discouraged."

"I have had a good experience with Zepbound. So far, I have lost 30 lbs in 6 months. This is my take and experience. You will feel sick if you eat improperly. You're not going to lose weight and continue to eat like you have been. Butter, fat, oil, and overeating will make you feel nauseous. These drugs slow down your digestion. I learned that in the first 24 hrs. I was at a barbecue and piled the food on my plate like normal. I felt sick the rest of the day. I learned my lesson. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids. Since digestion is slower, other functions slow down too! (If you know what I mean). Don't starve yourself, that will make you feel sick too. I have found that avoiding too many carbs and eating high in protein is working for me. I'm hoping my brain is rewired for when I go off Zepbound. I don't plan on being on this forever."

"I notice I have a dry mouth when on this med, therefore, I drink more water (more water is good!). This is not serious, I just notice it. Also, I don't think I have sleep apnea, but I have snored loudly my whole life. My wife noticed I do not snore when on this med."

"It definitely curbs your appetite, however, it destroyed my stomach. After 5 weeks, I couldn’t tolerate it anymore. I’m disappointed that my stomach and vomiting were so severe that it was not worth the risk. In a 3-week period, I had to go to the emergency room twice. I hope others have a better experience than I did."

"Been taking Zepbound 2.5 mg for four weeks - just had my fifth injection last night. Started at 254 lbs. and have lost 18 lbs!! My last weigh-in was 236 lbs.! The only annoying side effect I had was mild constipation. I had no idea what food noise was until it was gone. Wow. Finally understand what it is to be normal. Not sure what my goal weight will be yet, somewhere between 175-150 lbs. I'm in my early 50s and finally confident I'll have sustainable weight loss."

"I’ve been taking Zepbound for 9 months and have lost approximately 25% of my original body weight, 267 lbs down to 200 lbs. I’m a 76-year-old white male with peripheral neuropathy. One noticeable side effect that I have experienced is loss of taste, which makes it hard to enjoy food. I have reached my original goal. Another benefit I have experienced is that I can sleep without using my CPAP."

"I started Zepbound about a week ago. Only had 1 injection, but for me personally, as soon as I did the injection, I immediately began to feel nauseated and dizzy for a good couple of hours, but then it subsided. I did have some anxiety about the side effects, and sometimes when I do have anxiety, I will feel nauseous and dizzy as well, so I really can’t tell if that was from the injection or anxiety. Either way, it stopped. Since then, I barely eat. I NEVER feel hungry at all, and when I do, I eat hardly a handful of something before I feel full and stop eating. I don’t know if that’s normal. I’m supposed to get 60 grams of protein a day. I drink 2 of those 30 grams of the Premier protein shakes, not my favorite, but it will do, and that keeps me feeling full for pretty much the ENTIRE day. I don’t snack at all anymore. Again, I’ve only had 1 injection but have noticed some immediate changes."

"Started using Zepbound in March 2024, at 2.5 mg. History of Obesity (BMI > 29) and Hypertension. Starting weight was 202 lb. and Blood Pressure Avg. of 153/90. As of today, May 24, 2024, currently on 10mg. My weight is currently 177 lb, having lost 25 lbs (12%) of starting weight. It was easy to learn how to use the injection pen, and it is a painless process. I am also exercising, running 4-5 days per week and weight training 2 days per week. Exercise is an important adjunct to weight loss treatment, and can help maintain muscle mass while losing weight. It is also imperative to eat foods rich in protein and green, leafy vegetables. Side effects have been minimal, with occasional constipation, which is remedied by using Miralax or similar products."

"I have been taking Zepbound for 4 weeks. I have lost 20 pounds. I am not hungry, no side effects, more energy, and I sleep so much better. I am on 2.5. I love this drug. I did not want to believe the good reviews or the bad ones, I just needed to know for myself, and now I do. It is great. Take a chance, you will see it really works."
