"Started the shot on Wednesday, was kind of nervous. Ate small portions, so I wouldn't get nausea. Didn't really think it was working, didn't feel any different. It is now Monday, I have lost eight pounds. I'm never hungry, have to remember to eat, don't think about food really except fruit, it always sounds good. Absolutely no negative side effects. Started at 187, am now at 179. This is on my first shot! This stuff is amazing, looking forward to that second shot! It's expensive since state insurance doesn't cover it, and I only work part-time, but worth every cent!"

"Was on Wegovy 2 months (PsA weight loss need) - horrible. Lost 18 pounds but got depression, which is odd for me as I have never had it. Once off it, about 3 weeks, I was fine. Decided to give ZepBound a try, a friend had great success with Monjouro (diabetic), when this came out, I was approved. Having a friend with experience really helped to get me through the first 3 weeks. They were rough. But I knew to stay away from meats for 5 days after shot and ANYTHING with fat or oil - it will not digest. 2 days after the shot are the hardest as far as digestion, eat very small, eat early or reflux will occur. My 'go to' is a cup of mac & cheese, half a bagel (plain) or berries (apples indigestible). No variety for me on this. Menthol cough drop a lifesaver - soothes my stomach. Sugars OK. Diarrhea from some foods, turned to some constipation after 2 months. Lost 27 pounds in 3 months, the fatigue is my worst side effect. Find your digestible foods, stick with them, exclusively."

"I have been taking Zepbound for 8 months. I am on the highest dosage and 6 pounds away from my goal weight. I have lost 65 pounds. I do get nauseous around the 2nd or 3rd day after my injection, but it has not resulted in throwing up. I really don’t have much of an appetite. When I do eat, I’m not eating nutritional food as much as I should. This has resulted in muscle loss. I recently started eating more protein. I would recommend it, but just know what to expect, read over all the possible side effects and just be careful and be very truthful about how it makes you feel and what it does. Zepbound really has changed my life. I started Zepbound shortly after I was laid off from a job. I was there for 24 years, three months later my two littermates that were 16 years old went to the rainbow bridge. Had it not been for my weight loss, I would be a mess. Take vitamins, drink lots of water. Good luck."

"This medication has absolutely changed my life. In almost 4 months, I am down 30+ lb (205 to 175). Now I dosed up very quickly because the drug has also helped me with addiction issues as well (I think). I haven’t changed anything else except pretty quickly ramping up my dosage to 10 mg, and my urge to drink/use is virtually non-existent. Not sure if it’s because I know I’ll throw up if I drink the way I used to drink (I’m getting nauseous now just thinking about it), or if this miracle drug is somehow filling that void that alcohol and drugs had filled for years. Now to be clear, I do smoke weed pretty consistently throughout the day, so I’m not 100% sober by any means, but I’m at a point where it’s very manageable. I actually very much look forward to taking my shot. For example, my fiancé went out of town for an entire week, and I haven’t even tried to seek out drugs or even had a drink for that matter."

"I have been on the medication since 1/19/2024. I did 4 injections of 2.5, then went up to 5 mg. I will be staying with this dosage for at least 2 months. I have dropped 18 pounds so far. I have nausea for a day or two after injection (still able to function at work). I still have about 30ish pounds to lose, but I no longer think about food. I am also so happy that my pain from fibromyalgia has gotten so much better. I don't have the inflammation all the time. I am 50 and in menopause, I have done the eat less, move more with little results. I am very happy with this medication. You still have to do the work (eat little sugar, high protein, exercise), but it is nice to see it actually working now!"

"I have been struggling with my weight my entire life. It wasn't until I went on Zepbound that I began to lose weight and truly believed that this time I would keep it off for good. After 8 months, I have lost almost 50 lbs and feel better than I ever have about myself. I have more energy, more confidence, and am simply a much happier person. For me, I believe that Zepbound has helped me by regulating my blood sugar level and also making me feel full. While it is a major financial investment that needs to be changed, it has completely changed my outlook on life and fortunately I am able to afford it. This should be offered to everyone at an affordable rate!"

"After so many people I knew were doing so well on these injections, I started Zepbound 6 weeks ago. I was fine for 24 hours, then the side effects kicked in. I don't recall ever feeling this sick. Sulfur burps, churning stomach, started vomiting and diarrhea for 3 full days. I was sick for days after the first shot. I had no hunger while so very sick. Week 2 and 3 had no problems and the food cravings were gone. I was prepared to be very successful on this medication. Week 4 sulfur burps came back again, 24 hours after my injection. The same reactions returned but less violent, I was sick for 24 hours. Maybe a fluke? Week 5 and 24 hours in, same sulfur burps started it again: diarrhea, stomach spasms, and vomiting. Nope, off the Zepbound. I would rather stay fat than make myself sick with every dose. I never got beyond 2.5. I know this has been wonderful for some people, it's just not for me."

"I started Zepbound 17 days ago. 64-year-old woman, 210 lbs, BMI 33.9, height 5 ft 6 inches. Insulin resistant, high blood pressure, and cholesterol, sleep apnea. No problem at all with the injection. I don't even feel it. I do bring it to room temperature before injecting. I was terrified of the potential side effects but thankfully haven't experienced any that aren't very manageable. I notice if I eat certain foods for dinner, they aren't digested by morning, so I avoid those. I might feel a bit of nausea from time to time but use ginger chews. I definitely feel full faster and eat less. I've only weighed myself once so far, on day 9, and was down 7 pounds. Frankly, I have been a little scared of the scale after failing so many different diets (Keto, Intermittent Fasting, South Beach, Weight Watchers, to name a few). I'd diligently stay on them for several weeks only to have the scale not budge, or sometimes my weight went up! So discouraging. I'm so hopeful with this new medication!"

"I started on Zepbound Sept 3rd, 2024. The sulfur burps started but subsided after a day or so. Each time I give the shot, I get a little of this. I’ve stayed at .05 mL because I have a bit of a sour stomach, so don’t want to have worse, and I like my slow weight loss (14 lbs) as of 11/30/24. I heard if one loses too fast, it results in saggy skin. I had a problem with the protein powder, so discontinued, but realize making sure to get enough protein is crucial. My positive effect I’d like to report is I’m no longer lactose intolerant! So exciting! I can eat whatever I want without fear of the usual aftereffects. I didn’t need to lose much weight, but my added concern is that I have sleep apnea (couldn’t tolerate C-PAP). I’ll report back when I make a recording to see if it’s been eliminated. I only live with dogs, and they refuse to tell me if I’m still snoring or not."

"In the last 7 months, I went on a medically supervised, 1100-calorie per day diet to lose weight. I'm a 52-year-old female, 5'9'', and weighed 282 lbs. I managed to get down to 255 lbs and was feeling physically better, but constantly hungry, cranky, and miserable (also miserable to be around). After much discussion with my doctor (who was in favor of the medication), I started taking 2.5mg of Zep just before Christmas. After 3 weeks of use and despite many holiday celebrations, I'm down 4 lbs and all my cranky hanger is gone. I feel much better - all the noise in my head about food has disappeared, along with much of my appetite. I had constipation for the first couple of days after the first shot, but now I don't have any. My side effects have been minimal thus far, but I notice cravings and a bit of hunger coming back on days 5 and 6. I'm amazed at how easy this makes managing my diet, and it is so nice to not feel like a failure for once! I'm paying out of pocket with the savings card, but the $560 per month is so worth it."

"I just started taking Zepbound for less than a week now. I am 5 days in. I have not had any major side effects. I have felt very little nausea at times. I had a very mild tummy ache a couple of times. I felt a little dizzy the first day and then nothing after that. I felt very fatigued the third day but have been good since. I have lost 4 lbs so far. I am 5' 2" and weighed 161. I am down to 157 as of today (5th day). My goal is 130 at least. I don't feel hungry. I don't think about snacking. I forget to eat most of the time because I am not hungry. I have to remind myself to eat something. I eat very small portions and feel satisfied. I am loving this! I do recommend it to anyone wanting to lose weight."

"I have been taking Zepbound for seven and a half weeks now. I have lost 20 lbs! I am happy about that. I love how it takes that constant hunger I felt and cravings for junk are gone - that’s a miracle in itself. I did have some side effects of bloating, nausea, and sulfur burps and gas, but they do seem to taper off as your body adjusts to the dose. I am now up to a 5 mg dose but have opted to stay here for now because the nausea was increasing. I have no hunger at all. I will try it another month at 5 mg and if no relief in the nausea, I will ask to go back to the 2.5 dose. I continue to lose 2-3 pounds a week and it is adding up."

"I normally do not write reviews, but this medication has been very helpful. I have struggled with being overweight my entire life. I have always felt like my medical conditions were fighting against me, but week 1, I lost 5.8 lbs. This is not a miracle drug, I do run 6 mi 5 days a week (started at 1 mi) and lift weights 3 times a week. I also have an active lifestyle with 6 kids. I eat a high-protein, low-carb diet and make sure I drink 100 oz of water a day. I have been able to lose 40 lbs in 12 weeks. I started at 2.5 mg for 4 weeks, bumped up to 5 mg, and my doctor is keeping me at that because I have done so well. I have 25 lbs until I reach my goal weight. Without this medication, I would have still been depressed, overweight, and my health would still be declining. I have tried every workout, every diet. Zepbound has been the game changer. I have not experienced any negative side effects."

"I started taking Zepbound approximately 3 weeks ago, and this is after having the Gastric Sleeve a year ago. Due to becoming ill, I gained about 30lbs back and was not happy at all. So finally, my doctor prescribed Zepbound. The nausea is unreal, but I tolerate it. When trying to eat anything fried, it's a vomiting situation that's going to happen. But overall, I have lost about 4lbs in the 3 weeks with no exercise. I will try and start exercising with the next mg upgrade. Guys, please realize everybody's journey is different, and you will lose what your body is supposed to lose, so don't overdo it. Zepbound is working great for me at the moment."

"Been on Zepbound 7 weeks now. Lost about 22 lbs so far with no exercise. This stuff is amazing at curbing your appetite. But beware, stick to healthy foods and minimal portions because the nausea is otherworldly. I ate too much too late in the day yesterday. I had to leave work early today for the second time since being on this med. Light-headed, profuse sweating, chills, diarrhea almost non-stop and even puking. This med is a miracle, but you cannot mess around. Take it seriously. Cut back portions, minimal dairy, low sugar and don't eat too late. I'm excited to see how far I can go on this med. So thankful I have access."

"I've been on Zepbound for about 3 months. I'm 5'3' and started at 167. So far I have lost 12 lbs. trying to maintain a 1,200 calorie diet. The main thing is to watch what you eat and quit when you are full. The only side effects I've seen are fatigue and constipation. The shots don't bother me at all and no nausea, thank goodness. The only thing I'm really worried about is gaining it back when I stop. Good luck to all!"

"I just had my 2nd shot of Zepbound and the side effects so far are that I burp a lot (lol) & feel a little tired, but nothing major at all. I can’t eat much at all, maybe a few bites, and it takes me forever to get those few bites down, then I’m full for a few hours. I have been keeping a complete diary of this. So determined. Hope this helps."

"I have struggled with weight loss for the past 10 years. Healthy diet, regular exercise used to work for me but stopped working, and my weight steadily increased. I became afraid of food and barely ate 1,200 calories a day. Still, the weight wouldn’t budge. Doctors told me it was because I wasn’t 35 anymore or I was insulin resistant. I was diagnosed with fatty liver, and my frustration was at its peak. I am now 60, and at my peak, I was 216 lbs at 5'10" and pre-diabetic. I didn’t feel good and didn’t like how I looked. I was able to get Zepbound approved with my insurance, and it has been a lifesaver! I am now 160 and feel better than I’ve felt in years! I’ve had minimal side effects, and I’m just grateful that there was finally something to help me lose weight. I have saggy skin and don’t care. My knees don’t hurt, and I feel great! I’m not afraid of food and even eat treats in small portions without fear of gaining weight."

"After many years of trying to lose weight only to keep gaining, I finally had enough and decided to start Zepbound last December when I found out my insurance would pay for it. I started on 2.5mg like everyone else and increased the dose monthly. It’s June and I currently take 15mg. I have lost 55 pounds. I consistently lose 2 pounds per week. I had side effects as I titrated up. I no longer have any side effects. I am still losing weight and I have never felt better. I plan to stay on this long term. My doctor is on board with that plan as well. I would recommend this to anyone that has tried everything and has been unable to lose the weight. I am 50 years old and want to be able to stay active and have little to no pain. This medicine has changed my life."

"As soon as I began at the 2.5 dosage, I modified my diet radically to mitigate or even entirely avoid the dreaded side effects of indigestion, nausea, constipation, heartburn, and vomiting. I also embarked on a free-weight program to build muscle. Fortunately, I’ve experienced none of the unpleasant side effects. I’ve titrated up after each 4-week dosage and am now in the middle of 7.5 mg. My doctor tells me I have lost more weight than most patients have at this point. I also have chronic inflammation, which extra weight exacerbates, and I’m watching carefully to see that marker decrease. That’s the good news. Zepbound has completely changed my relationship to food. I consider myself a “foodie.” That’s now behind me. I remind myself that it’s been only 10 weeks. I’m hopeful that at some point, I will be able to enjoy more of the foods that were once such a large part of my life."

"I’ve lost 43 lbs in the last 9 months. I experienced some mild hair loss (but started this in menopause, so that contributed to hair loss as well), increased heart rate, although mine was low to start, some burping, and tiredness. The worst side effect for me is the diarrhea. I have it starting about 24-48 hrs after injection. It lasts on and off for about 3 days. Overall, these side effects have been mild and manageable. The weight loss has been life-changing!!"

"I have used this for over 1 1/2 years now. I have never increased from the initial 2.5 dose and have lost over 45 lbs! 63 yrs old and always fought my weight. I could literally fast for a couple of days, stay on my tuna, veggies, and berries the rest of the week, exercise every day and gain 2 lbs if my week was stressful at work. This turns on a couple of hormones that just were not working no matter what I tried. I have no plans to increase this dose, but will probably need to stay on this forever. It is the key and the answer I’ve been looking for. Most every post I’m reading talks about increasing the dose, and I wanted to share that you can get there without risking additional side effects. It’s a great tool, and with all the good things we do already for ourselves, this will take you all the way! I’m about 12 pounds to my goal, now normal cholesterol levels and no side effects after the first two weeks :). It makes the journey easier when you see success for your efforts :)"

"This medication saved my life! In the beginning, the nausea was very noticeable but worth every bit! I never really had a problem with my weight until after my pregnancies. I gained over 90 lbs with each of my two pregnancies. Being at over 300 lbs and only 5’1” was a miserable existence. I couldn’t breathe and was exhausted all of the time, not to mention pre-diabetic and very high blood pressure. It has definitely been a journey, but I stand by that this medication saved my life. I’ve lost 125 lbs. I still have a way to go to get to my goal, but I’m so happy to be alive to see how much better life can be! By the way, my A1C is now normal, and the hypertension has also resolved! I’m very grateful!"

"I am one week in and on the 2.5 dose. I was really afraid to start because I didn’t want to get hypoglycemia, which is something I have dealt with my whole life. (I’m not diabetic and do not take insulin, I think I just have plenty of insulin.) But I did it and am so happy I did! I am down 4 lbs in one week and have had minimal side effects. I am eating much less, and food noise is almost gone. I’m excited to keep on going! For reference, I am a 59-year-old woman, 5’ 4”, and my starting weight was 192. So far, this is like a miracle! I highly recommend it if you can get it."

"I have been taking Zepbound for about 4 months and have dropped 40 pounds. For reference, I am 5’2” and was 192 when I started on the 2.5mg dose. I moved to 5mg after 4 weeks, and I’m still on 5mg (losing 1.5-2 lbs per week). I plan to stay on 5mg as long as I am losing weight. Side effects were tiredness and mild flu-like symptoms the first week, but nothing since. I am making better food choices and make sure I am in a calorie deficit. The medicine helps me feel fuller for longer and quiets food noise. Before I would constantly wander into the kitchen to snack, either due to boredom, stress, or whatever, but now I stick to mealtimes and stop eating when I am satisfied. Zepbound gives me the willpower I never had to resist cravings. This is the first time in my life I have been able to lose weight consistently, and it feels wonderful! If you are considering taking Zepbound, just do it! It is truly a miracle and 100% worth the cost."
