For Osteoarthritis "I had a Durolane injection after 2 of another brand that went well. United Healthcare insisted on this one this time. 20 minutes after the injection, I had extreme nausea and a headache to the point of not seeing well. The pain is worse now than before any shots 2 years ago. I have no idea how to make the pain stop now."

For Osteoarthritis "I had Durolane injections in both knees ten days ago. My side effects included nausea, headache, back pain, tingling. Now my knees ache and burn so badly every movement is excruciating. I can barely get around the house. At seventy-two years old, this is the WORST decision I’ve ever made. PLEASE, if you are thinking about getting Durolane injections, don’t. Once it’s done, there’s no going back."

For Osteoarthritis "I tried this a few times with both of my knees. Extremely painful injections, cost me $2k each time ($1k per knee). Should have gone on vacation with that money, would have been more beneficial. They didn't work, only made more pain for 2 weeks and nauseated."

For Osteoarthritis "Had the Durolane injection 4 days ago. The injection was very painful, and within a few hours, I could not walk due to pain and had horrible nausea! Took 3 days for the pain to go back to pre-shot pain, but my stomach has not recovered. I have terrible heartburn, reflux, and diarrhea. Not fun. My doctor said it could take 4 to 6 weeks for the injection to work. Fingers crossed. I don't think I would have this one again. I thought it would be best because it was only one injection. Lesson learned!"

For Osteoarthritis "I had the injection in my left knee. The same day, I experienced severe stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting. Two weeks later, the pain in my knee is still there. The cost of the injection was $535.00, to which 80% was covered by our health plan. The doctor advised me to get another shot in 6 months. That is NOT going to happen. I will look into other methods for the osteoarthritis."

For Osteoarthritis "Would never use this again. Still in pain in a week, with nausea for 4 days. Knee still swollen and can’t sleep in pain. I will go back to cortisone and be shaking... at least no pain."

For Osteoarthritis "I had injections in both the right and left knees at the same time. The right knee did okay, but the left knee was absolutely horrible. Within 4 hours of injections, I had the most horrific reaction. The pain was the most extreme pain. I had painkillers, and it would not relieve the pain. It was so bad I wanted to call an ambulance. The only reason I didn't was because my bedroom is upstairs, and I couldn't make the trip downstairs. I knew the only way the paramedics could get to me was by breaking a 1500-dollar door down. So I kept taking more painkillers, and finally, after 7 hours, I had relief. Since the injections, I have severe leg cramps in both legs, wow, over the top! Itching over my body, bad lower back pain, RLS, and nausea. This continues every day. My legs barely move. Before treatment, I was walking 2 1/2 miles daily, and I'm 65... obviously, I had a severe allergic reaction. Would not ever recommend."
