"Started Wegovy back in April of this year. Started at the 0.25 mg, titrated to 2.4 mg. I started at 203 pounds. I am down to 141 pounds. I cannot believe I lost this much weight. That part of my journey has been awesome. Side effects I am dealing with are mild acid reflux and dizziness. The dizziness is the worst."

"Wegovy works great when you can get it! I have been on it for 3 months, and now I have been 3 weeks without it because I am constantly told it is on back order! It's very frustrating. You would think they could supply CVS with their product. I have even called the company that makes it and being told it is NOT on back order, they told me CVS is not ordering it. I don't know, but I am very frustrated about it."

"First day of injection, Aug 19th, 2024 SW - 236 pounds. November 22nd, 2024 last injection to date CW - 217 currently on 1.0 mg dose. Have not done anything extraordinary, try to make healthy choices and drink lots of water. Sometimes go for walks. Will continue to use this until I've reached ideal numbers. I like it, no problems so far. Just need to pay attention to hydration and nutrition. Sometimes experience nausea, drink water, take a Gravol. Also take a multivitamin but don't combine too many things unless you speak with a doctor. I'll post an update after Christmas."

"Experienced nausea and acid reflux with first four doses. The second box, the first pen did not work properly, the needle did not go all the way in. The medicine caused a bubble under the skin, was burning and hurting more than just the original needle stick. Called the drug company, they said because I did not watch the yellow tab, I would not be reimbursed. Not to mention that the medicine had no place to go until I pulled it out, and it sprayed all over my hand. The drug company is not good about standing behind their faulty product. If you have a problem, make sure to say you were watching the yellow bar, and you may have a chance at getting it replaced. Not good customer service."

"I started on Wegovy .25 mg mid-August and felt no side effects but no weight loss neither. Difficult stool movement right away. After 6 weeks, I started taking .50 mg after difficulty finding this dose in any pharmacy in Miami. I stayed on this dose for 4 weeks without any weight loss or bad side effects, other than constipation. Then I started taking 1 mg and immediately started feeling very bad: severe nausea and indigestion and bad diarrhea. Obviously, you can’t eat anything, so yes, I finally started losing weight, but felt so bad, I could not function, slept a lot, did not eat, was on the toilet a lot, and decided this was not worth it and stopped after two injections. Perhaps other people can deal with these kinds of side effects or they just react easier. Since I started on low doses for so long, I was disappointed the side effects were still so strong. After about three days (after stopping), I feel normal again but weight comes back quickly if you don’t have an iron will!"

"I started taking Wegovy because I’m a woman of a particular age and needed to lose weight. I wanted to lose at least 50 lbs and lost 47 within a year! As a result, my high blood pressure is normal now, and high cholesterol is no longer high! I started at the weight of 209 lbs. I’m happy with my weight loss, however, I want to stop taking Wegovy but am afraid to because I don’t know what will happen if I stop! Will I regain the weight? And if I don’t stop, will I be opening myself up for harmful consequences, side effects, diseases? I wish I knew. But for now, I will continue and continue to see the doctor and hope for the best!"

"I have been taking Wegovy, and this is the beginning of my 3rd month. I have lost 10 pounds and some inches. I found that a good multivitamin, and I take a prenatal pill every morning, helps with my energy level. Sometimes I feel like I have too much and don't know when to sit down, lol. As you may know, the medicine isn't for everyone, but your health is important, so do what your body tells you, and good luck to the ones that are successful."

"I used Wegovy for several months with no problem and much success; I lost 20 lbs. For whatever reason-insurance, doctor, pharmacy, manufacturer-I was unable to take the drug. I restarted Wegovy yesterday at the same high dose I was taking when I stopped; suddenly, I threw up everything I had eaten. Today, I feel blah."

"Hashimoto's, 5'3" overweight. Not yet obese, but pretty close. Lost 17 pounds in 6 months. Effortlessly. I thought I only lost 5 pounds. I noticed a difference in my clothes but thought it was my imagination. Didn't really modify my diet, just stopped eating when I felt full. Best dose, max dose. Side effects are heartburn, but that's if I ate like I did before. Calories a day: 1700, desk job, not a lot of exercise, and still lost weight. Before, 17 pounds larger, fasted for 20-24 hours at 1200 calories and body inflamed. My cholesterol now is healthy. Sleep is better. Less apnea episodes, to my surprise."

"I can only thank the makers of these drugs. For 30 years, I have suffered from what is now known as food noise. Now, I feel normal. I can say no to foods that before I craved all the time. I still get cravings, but it's amazing that I can have a protein shake or something small and that feeling goes away quickly. Now, Wegovy wasn't easy at the start. I had bad symptoms at the start… very bad. I was often sick or had sulfur burps. It wasn't until I spoke with a well-educated nutritionist who supports these drugs that explained I needed to drop my dose below the 0.25. As soon as I switched to 0.10, then 0.20, then 0.40, this slower transition helped a lot. He also explained I should try a liquid diet… which I didn't like the sound of at first, but he explained if I had a small protein shake before meals or when I was hungry, it would be easily digestible and force me to eat very small solid food meals. My god, it helped. Now, after 9 months, I've lost 20% of my weight. Couldn't be happier."

"Wegovy has been a great help. I am on quetiapine and vilazodone for bipolar 2 and gained a significant amount of weight. I could not lose weight no matter what I did. I was also borderline diabetic. Started Wegovy on the smallest dose and worked up to the max dose. I lost weight fast on the smaller dosage, but when I hit the higher doses, my weight loss slowed way down. As of today, 10/14, I have lost 28 pounds. My sugars are all normal, and my cholesterol and blood pressure have been helped too! Wegovy does make me slightly nauseated the day of injection and often the next day too. It's manageable though, and the benefits outweigh the cons."

"I am very disappointed with Wegovy now. About a year ago, Wegovy was the best thing that ever happened to me. I lost the weight I desired. At that time, Wegovy was hard to find. It was on back order. When I started it, even the smallest doses, I did not feel hungry. The weight dropped fast. After several months, I stopped taking the medicine and began to see the weight come back on. So I decided to try Wegovy again this year. There is plenty in stock this year, however, it is not as effective as before. What happened? Did Wegovy water down their ingredients because of the high demand? I have been taking the shots, still feel hungry, and have not lost any pounds. Last year, when the medicine was in high demand, it worked. Please, Wegovy, don’t change your ingredients. The high cost of the medicine is still the same, the medicine should stay the same. It’s not fair to the customers."

"I have tried multiple different medications to aid with weight loss. They were all expensive and negatively impacted my mental health, and I did not lose weight. So, I was skeptical when trying this. I have had minimal side effects and have averaged 1 kg weight loss every week from the very start. I feel in control of my eating for the first time ever. For me, it’s working, so happy to keep paying for it."

"I was prescribed Wegovy on July 3rd for weight loss and A1C levels in the diabetic range. I started month one at the lowest dose of 0.25 mg, increased month two to 0.50 mg, month three at 1.0 mg, and the last two weeks at 1.70 mg. My total weight loss as of 2 days ago is 51 lbs, and my A1C has dropped into pre-diabetes levels. I have had zero side effects, with the exception of while I’m cooking, the smell of food makes me feel full. I don’t eat right away after cooking, and my portions are extremely lower than before. My doctor last week informed me of the weight loss and BMI down 6 points, and that if I continue at this rate, he will refer me to an orthopedic surgeon for knee replacement by this coming spring."

"I started taking Wegovy 3 1/2 weeks ago. From the very first dose, my mouth was on fire. My body was itchy, every joint hurt, can’t sleep but was very tired, so I decided to split the dose. I took half the dose on a Monday and the other half on Thursday. Everything went away like magic, so I’m going to continue to do that. There’s no hurry to lose weight. I’ll do it slowly and stay on a dose that I’m comfortable with."
