"From the very beginning, I began to lose weight and felt just fine. I lost the equivalent of a preteen child. I went from 265 to 189. It took some time, but I only developed heavy dandruff or mild psoriasis. After being off of Wegovy for several months, I only regained about 8-10 lbs. It has plateaued. Would I take it again? Absolutely!"

"I have been on Wegovy for 10 weeks and have lost 40 pounds. I’m on a 0.25 dose and haven’t had to go up yet. Losing 2-3 pounds per week. The only side effect is constipation and dry mouth right after the injection and only lasts for 10 minutes. No complaints. Love the product! My insurance refuses to cover it. The doctor filed appeals and they still refused to approve. Will continue to use it for a few months to get to my goal weight."

"I was at my heaviest in July, recovering from knee surgery-recovering from major abdominal surgery before ever being placed on Wegovy. I suffered with several issues due to increased weight gain, all the typical-some depression, never being able to lose more than 8 lbs., and then giving up. It's a struggle, and it was real. Prediabetic, having beginning stages of heart issues, orthopedically, beginning to have major issues with my joints and body. So many issues due to the increased weight gain from medicines and lifestyle. It was taking its toll. I started Wegovy in July (end of the month) at 279.8 pounds, my heaviest, and getting heavier every day. Today, February 11th-Injection day-and I weigh myself and keep track weekly on my phone. I'm at 238.4 pounds. I'm down 41.4 pounds and so proud of myself and my accomplishments. I'm at 1.0 shot and feeling well. I'm happier than ever, and I'm not looking back. I'm wearing clothes I never thought I would wear again. Feeling fantastic. This is the best thing to happen to me!!!"

"70 pounds down and maintained for over a year now. Wegovy in conjunction with a high-protein, low-carb food plan does it right. I am convinced that the majority of negative outcomes are due to people just shooting the drug and making no changes to their diet. Stay off the sugar, keep your carb intake to vegetables and limited fruits only. Constipation avoided by adding a magnesium citrate supplement. (I use Calm)."

"The side effects have been mild to moderate, but tolerable. Weight loss has been dramatic, with a reduction in BMI from well over 30 to under 25. After over a year on the drug, I am still at 1 mg. Increases have so far been contraindicated."

"Was on Ozempic from April to July 2024 - lost 5 kg; then Ozempic was out of stock and the pharmacy was not very helpful. Started on Wegovy; first 0.25 mg dose yesterday, Jan 29, 2025. So far, side effects - mild headache. Current weight 82 kg... hope for the best."

"It's been great-I'm 53 years old, and I've been taking it since August. I've lost 30 pounds with no side effects. I take a 0.5 mg shot once a week, and I feel better than I have since before my last pregnancy 13 years ago. I tried everything to lose weight, and it just wouldn't come off. I have a family history of heart disease that includes my father having his first heart attack at 36, resulting in open-heart surgery, and his death at 49 from another heart attack. When I was 50, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and high cholesterol, plus I weighed 230 pounds at 5'4" tall. I asked my doctor for a couple of years to prescribe a semaglutide, but because it was only really available for diabetics, she refused. When Wegovy was cleared for weight loss, she agreed to let me try it. It has been life-saving, I think."

"Just moved to 0.5 mg. No side effects, down 10 lbs. No longer have all the “food noise.” Eliminated all the snacking, and portion sizes naturally reduced during meal time as a result of the drug. Hearing some reviews where later doses caused more significant side effects, but so far, highly recommend."

"I've been on Wegovy since 12/2022. I have titrated up accordingly, and to this date, I have currently lost 100 lbs with only diet modification due to mobility restrictions. I was borderline diabetic with high cholesterol before I started. As for side effects, I struggled with overwhelming nausea up to the 2.4 mg dose, and now I only have nausea the first day of the injection or if I eat something that doesn't agree with me or I eat one bite too much. Personally, I have found having this medication available to me extremely beneficial, as I gained 100+ lbs due to medical issues and mobility restrictions over a four-year period. I feel so much better, I look better, and my labs are WAY better. The injection is easy to use."

"I am a 74-year-old male who weighed 250 when I started Wegovy. I am now a week into the 2.4 mg dosage and down to 224 lbs. My appetite has declined, and I no longer crave food. I have only one side effect, and that has been constipation. It started the day I began the medication and still continues. I am taking milk of magnesia, and it helps, but still not regular as I would like. I strongly recommend this drug."

"First off, BigMac was my nickname in high school, not the burger. In July, my doctor put me on Wegovy .25 dose for obesity and diabetes. Each month, he has increased my dosage, I just finished my first month of 2.4mg dosage. Started at 369lbs, this morning 297 lbs (72 lbs lost), my clothes are ones I grew out of a couple of years ago. My A1C is below pre-diabetes levels, and my blood pressure is lower than it was when I was 20. I have gone over a week now with no events on my CPAP machine. I sleep better at night, I have more energy during the day. Twenty-two more pounds, my doctor says I will be able to have my knee replacement done. It has greatly changed my life, I am currently 63 years old and feel like I have a new lease on my life."

"Started Wegovy back in April of this year. Started at the 0.25 mg, titrated to 2.4 mg. I started at 203 pounds. I am down to 141 pounds. I cannot believe I lost this much weight. That part of my journey has been awesome. Side effects I am dealing with are mild acid reflux and dizziness. The dizziness is the worst."

"Wegovy works great when you can get it! I have been on it for 3 months, and now I have been 3 weeks without it because I am constantly told it is on back order! It's very frustrating. You would think they could supply CVS with their product. I have even called the company that makes it and being told it is NOT on back order, they told me CVS is not ordering it. I don't know, but I am very frustrated about it."

"First day of injection, Aug 19th, 2024 SW - 236 pounds. November 22nd, 2024 last injection to date CW - 217 currently on 1.0 mg dose. Have not done anything extraordinary, try to make healthy choices and drink lots of water. Sometimes go for walks. Will continue to use this until I've reached ideal numbers. I like it, no problems so far. Just need to pay attention to hydration and nutrition. Sometimes experience nausea, drink water, take a Gravol. Also take a multivitamin but don't combine too many things unless you speak with a doctor. I'll post an update after Christmas."

"I have been taking Wegovy, and this is the beginning of my 3rd month. I have lost 10 pounds and some inches. I found that a good multivitamin, and I take a prenatal pill every morning, helps with my energy level. Sometimes I feel like I have too much and don't know when to sit down, lol. As you may know, the medicine isn't for everyone, but your health is important, so do what your body tells you, and good luck to the ones that are successful."

"Hashimoto's, 5'3" overweight. Not yet obese, but pretty close. Lost 17 pounds in 6 months. Effortlessly. I thought I only lost 5 pounds. I noticed a difference in my clothes but thought it was my imagination. Didn't really modify my diet, just stopped eating when I felt full. Best dose, max dose. Side effects are heartburn, but that's if I ate like I did before. Calories a day: 1700, desk job, not a lot of exercise, and still lost weight. Before, 17 pounds larger, fasted for 20-24 hours at 1200 calories and body inflamed. My cholesterol now is healthy. Sleep is better. Less apnea episodes, to my surprise."

"I can only thank the makers of these drugs. For 30 years, I have suffered from what is now known as food noise. Now, I feel normal. I can say no to foods that before I craved all the time. I still get cravings, but it's amazing that I can have a protein shake or something small and that feeling goes away quickly. Now, Wegovy wasn't easy at the start. I had bad symptoms at the start… very bad. I was often sick or had sulfur burps. It wasn't until I spoke with a well-educated nutritionist who supports these drugs that explained I needed to drop my dose below the 0.25. As soon as I switched to 0.10, then 0.20, then 0.40, this slower transition helped a lot. He also explained I should try a liquid diet… which I didn't like the sound of at first, but he explained if I had a small protein shake before meals or when I was hungry, it would be easily digestible and force me to eat very small solid food meals. My god, it helped. Now, after 9 months, I've lost 20% of my weight. Couldn't be happier."
