For Type 2 Diabetes "Well I took the shot on a Wednesday. And by Saturday I felt weak. I had severe diarrhea and no appetite. That lasted for about 3 days. Then I started itching all over my body. So I got some cortisone to help with the itching. Then as I continued to itch, my body was turning red, and I'm African American. Then I began to blister and then peel. I peeled from my legs, arms, my buttocks, and then my hands, and now my feet. I told my doctor, she insisted it was my laundry detergent, but I tried to tell her different. Anyways, I believe that there was an ingredient I was allergic to in the Ozempic. I do not recommend this shot. I've been dealing with this for a month. The only upside, I lost 7 to 8 lbs. But look what I went through. Good luck!"

For Type 2 Diabetes "I’ve been on Ozempic for 14 weeks for type 2 diabetes after I had allergic reactions to Metformin. I started with .25 for 1 month, then .5 for another month, then 1 mg. I had minimal side effects, but I did find that I had some bad bouts of anxiety, which lasted for about 2 weeks. The one physical side effect I have had is constipation, but no nausea, no diarrhea, no headaches. It’s been a very good decision to take Ozempic, my blood sugar levels are close to normal, and I’ve lost 20 lbs so far. I have found that drinking water helps and small meals is key. I found during my loading phase that I could tell when the Ozempic was working and when it was waning, and when I finally got to 1 mg, I felt like it was working all week."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I'm watching to see if I'm allergic to it. I'm watching myself as I was told to up my dose to the .50 mg. But before I started it, I had a little rash (I was thinking a heat rash). But I'm watching to see if the Ozempic is making it worse. I have fragile skin and I break out easily. They should prescribe like an acid reducer with it and at least a flush. Because that sour food shouldn't sit in your body like that. Sounds toxic."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I was pleased with the appetite suppression of the Ozempic and the dosage was easy to apply, but I gradually developed an allergic reaction to it."

For Type 2 Diabetes "Do not use this drug. I took my first and only dose and had terrible diarrhea, so bad I had to cancel several engagements. I also had vomiting after eating, no appetite, a decline in vision, and worst was a mental haziness that took over a month to recover from. My doctor called it an allergic reaction, but I don’t believe that. Even after 8 months, I still have episodes of feeling tired and hazy. I feel like I’ve aged 5 years since taking the one dose. Other than type 2 diabetes, I was in good physical condition and health. Now I have aching muscles, reduced vision, and sporadic haziness. Yes, my A1C went down temporarily, but not worth all the rest of the side effects."
