"Had Scapho (Secukinumab) injection for 6 months in India @ 1 per month for Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). While 1st 5 vials gave some relief, my pain restored to original levels after 6th vial. Blood test reports also showed raised inflammation markers. Sent repeated mails to Novartis, to check on their serial number tracking or Blockchain enabled supply chain process. Novartis sent cursory replies upholding their distributors and finally conceded to not having any serial number tracking. Not wanting to waste further money, given this dicey situation, I gave up on Novartis and Scapho injection for good. Since then, my 3 miles jogging + basic stretch exercises every 6 hours along with sulfasalazine tablets have helped."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "Been on Cosentyx for 2 years now, 300mg every 3 weeks. My mobility has increased tremendously and I live with very few flare-ups. I was on Humira originally but kept having reactions to it, so I was switched to Cosentyx and loving the outcome. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid in 1983 and then diagnosed with AS in 1998. My body is so far gone before biologics that it has definitely helped mobility, but I still live with a ton of pain unfortunately. But I've learned you can't give up, so just keep on going no matter how tough it is."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "Switched to Cosentyx in 2017 for plaque psoriasis. Three months later, came the ankylosing diagnosis. To date, 7/22, it has been an absolute lifesaver for me. Psoriasis 100% clear and a tremendous help with low back and hip pain. Hoping for these results to be a lifetime. 2 150 mg/ml pens a month and get on with life."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I started Cosentyx in April of 2022 at a dose of 150mg every 4 weeks for Ankylosing Spondylitis (or Seronegative Spondylopathy). After about 4 months of no decrease in inflammation, the rheumatologist upped the dose to 300mg every 4 weeks, and at month 7 is when my flare-ups completely went away. I felt great for about 7 ish months. Fast forward to May of 2023 (now), and a flare up popped up in a matter of hours in my lower back. So it took me about 7 months for it to fully work. However, the side effects are extremely minimal and this medication is allegedely the least symptomatic in the long run compared to other TNF inhibitors. Since I had a flare up though, I will talk to the rheumatologist about doing 300mg every 3 weeks as switching these kinds of medications can take up to 6 months (or longer) to actually work. Overall, I would recommend trying it and start out immediately with the 300mg dose (x2 150mg auto injectors every 4 weeks) for arthritis related problems."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I've finished the 5 week loading dose 3 weeks ago. It is not working for Ankylosing Spondylitis. I am very disappointed. My Dr is upping my dose to 300 mg and I hope that will work."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I finished the loading dose with no improvement. My Dr upped me to 300 mg. I'm on month 4, I'm very fatigued and still in pain so I'm not impressed with it. I'm also experiencing mouth sores."
