Reviews for Rofecoxib

Vioxx (rofecoxib): "However, within four hours of taking vioxx my kidney started to bleed. It wasn't great amounts but the RBC's would fall down to the bottom of the toilet, I experienced extreme back pain to my kidney area and the blood (hematuria) stayed present in my urine for days. It was at first seen with the naked eye,but after a few days it was no longer visible by the naked eye but visible with microscope. I had no hx of kidney problems, no high bp and no CVA. But, in 2012 I experienced high blood pressure due to pain, and I had a CVA. I am now treated for high BP. I have no doubt as an RN that Vioxx caused damage to my kidney that just didn't surface for awhile, which in turn caused the CVA, after all, there are many places to hide in the kidney."
