For GERD "Horrible side effects. My mouth and tongue swelled up. Difficulty swallowing, which is why the doctor prescribed it for me in the first place. He said it was a symptom of 'silent' acid reflux. Found a rash on my leg. Heart palpitations and massive stomach aches. Didn't do a thing for reflux or the belching and burping it was supposed to cure."

"My condition is allergic swelling of throat, hive, lips, tongue, eyelid, hive over entire body. Zantac + Zyrtec has been the ONLY thing that has allowed me to even live. Without it, I'm in the hospital every other month for prednisone shots. I've used every allergy medicine on the pharmacy shelf and some that are not on there anymore over the last 40 years, and I don't know how I will SURVIVE without the Ranitidine/Zantac if it is kept off the market."

For Indigestion "This was prescribed to me as an H2 antihistamine blocker. Took it in the morning and had a bad allergic reaction, a painful swollen face within minutes."
