For Nausea/Vomiting "Got up with dizziness and feeling of vomiting. Took Stemetil and condition got worse. Felt more sick in my stomach, so bad that I couldn't eat anything. Experienced a horrible chill and kind of depression. Please, if you feel dizzy, go first to check your ears and neck (trapped nerve?). Do not take Stemetil!!"

Prochlorperazine for Nausea/Vomiting "It was 1975 when I was 15. I had the flu for several days, vomiting every 15 minutes or so. The doctor prescribed Compazine. I only took one or two pills when my head turned uncontrollably to the left and then to the right (similar to having a stiff neck), but I was no longer nauseated. Later that evening, my eyes started rolling back in my head, and my head snapped back so that I was basically looking behind myself. I panicked and started taking off my clothes and running around the house. My mom took me to the ER. I had to find the drug in the PDR so they knew what I had taken. It was bad and scary."

For Anxiety "I was sent to the emergency room due to an ECG coming up with some anomalies, and my doctor wanted to be cautious and do some investigations. I had mentioned I had a feeling of vertigo and was prescribed prochlorperazine, which was given to me through an IV. I’m 19 years old and was naive enough to think the doctor knew how to help. About 30 minutes in, I started to feel really agitated and started crying, I wanted to rip my IV out! My partner had to keep telling me just 45 more minutes, just 15 more minutes to let me know it was nearly over. I was shaking everywhere, I had no control over my own body. We had done some research and found out he had given me a psychotic drug?! It’s been 16 hours since having it, and I’m still struggling with ‘jitters’ or shaking. My heart rate has calmed down, but my nausea is still there. Vomiting was also accompanied by my reaction. I’ve been looking for how long these side effects will last, hopefully until tomorrow. PLEASE BE AWARE!!"

For Nausea/Vomiting "I went to the ER for uncontrollable vomiting and for nausea and severe pain in my stomach, and both times they gave me Compazine, and both times, right away, I felt my skin crawling, and I was shaky and couldn’t sit still. I literally felt like I was suffocating, my chest felt so tight, and I felt an uncomfortable panic attack. I couldn’t relax whatsoever. I could feel my heart racing. I felt like I was going to honestly die. They gave me 2 doses of Benadryl with it, but it did nothing. Whatever, never will I take this again."

For Nausea/Vomiting "So I am pregnant and am experiencing feeling really sick and vomiting in some cases. Was prescribed this medication but I feel it worked for about 10-20 mins then wore off and I was back to feeling sick and over the toilet again. I am on 3 mg of it also. I will try it again in the morning, see if it’s better. Wish me luck."

Prochlorperazine for Nausea/Vomiting "Had a severe allergic reaction to Compazine, which was given to me to treat nausea. Unable to breathe, throat closed, had to be rushed to the hospital, and it didn't stop the vomiting."

Prochlorperazine for Nausea/Vomiting "I was sent to the ER by my GP on Tuesday this week for an irregular ECG. I was feeling completely fine with just a small amount of dizziness. My doctor decided to give me prochlorperazine (Compazine) through my IV. Within 15 minutes, I started to lose my patience. My body started to shake involuntarily. I was becoming aggressive towards my poor partner, who couldn’t understand what was happening. My anxiety was awful!! I begged the nurse to stop the fluids, but she said she was following doctors' orders. I’m 19 years old. It’s been 3 days, and within the first 2 hours, I had vomited, involuntary shakes, high heart rate, and drowsiness. On the second day, I felt better, I had just a bit of a sore stomach from vomiting the day before. And now, on the third day, I’ve been vomiting all afternoon, involuntary shakes, and a tight chest stopping sleep. I’ve been obsessed with reading reviews to find answers to when this will end!"
