Proctofoam (pramoxine) "I am in my third trimester and the hemorrhoids have been horrible I was in bed for a week and tried ever OTC cream plus home remedies. My OB proscribed me proctofoam and it's been a life saver. The only thing that has worked."

Proctofoam (pramoxine) "It's May 17th I just applied this $164 cream to my anus. I used PH and that didn't work. Right now the proctofoam is working as the hemorrhoids are not hurting or itching. I will come back to give a update after 5 days."

Proctofoam (pramoxine) "I am in the same situation as above. This is my fifth day of having hemorrhoids and have used ALL the over the counter medicines. Proctofoam seems like it helps more. This is my first day of use, so hopefully the swelling subsides soon. Definitely better though."

Proctofoam (pramoxine) "This medicine did not work at all!!!! Very disappointing after paying almost $99.00 for it!! I’m not sure if I got a defective bottle but I am very disappointed. Guess I’m going to have to go to plan B!"

Proctofoam (pramoxine) "I have had a bad case of hemorrhoids for 6 months now and have tried everything otc, even a few trips to the ER! I finally was referred to a general surgeon who said while yes I have some hemorrhoids, I also have an anal fissure. He prescribed Proctofoam and so far so good! No pain, no bleeding! My insurance did not cover this and I had to pay $135, but it has been worth it! When I go back to the Dr in 10 days, I will update my review and rating!"

Proctofoam (pramoxine) "I wish I could share a positive review for proctofoam hc. I had a painful swollen exterior burning hemorrhoid flair up 9 days ago. Had proctofoam hc prescribed 7 days ago. I also had Proctozone -hc cream prescribed and use them together for what it’s worth. Had to order it and have been using it for 6 days. It seems to help a little bit with the pain. I still have constant pain but not as bad. I found taking 800mg of ibuprofen along with 1000mg of Tylenol stops the pain for at least 4 hours and sometimes all day. The swelling has gone down by half but the hemorrhoid hasn’t gone back in which is uncomfortable. I can push it in but it comes back out. I’m curious about what my condition would be by now without the foam (which I paid $170.00 for) just using the cream ($35.00) and ibuprofen and Tylenol."

Proctofoam (pramoxine) "Proctofoam is a good product yes the applicator can be difficult at times so what I do is I stick it under my armpit for like 5 minutes to warm the metal container up then it fills the syringe with ease this product is a lifesaver especially when I'm sitting in the tree stand during hunting season thank you"

Proctofoam (pramoxine) "It didn’t help as much as I hoped. It was disappointing after so many positive reviews. The hemorrhoids have shrunk slightly but seem to still be getting flared up and I’m still in quite a bit of pain."

Proctofoam (pramoxine) "I'm 56 healthy no other meds, been on proctoform for several year. Only 2 refills a year started out at $101 then $125 today it was $135 dollars insurance want cover it, shame on Blue Cross and Blue Shield. I don't use a full dose, it works pretty quick! If your not careful with the adapter you will waste a half dose. Last year my Gastrointernologist said everything looks good during my Colonoscopy, I received a 10 Year Certificate. Lol"

Proctofoam (pramoxine) "I will say, this stuff works phenomenally. Been dealing with hemorrhoids for 10 years. This gave me the relief I needed to heal. I don't however care for the applicator syringe. A large portion shoots out around the plunger and once it actually popped open and exploded all over me discoloring my clothes."

Proctofoam (pramoxine) "When I first used Proctofoam it burnt a little but within 5 minutes there was relief from the excruciating pain that nothing had ever helped before. It shrinks the inflammation and made going to the bathroom easier. A tip to not wasting the product I have found is to not put the plunger all the way on the “syringe”. Just lightly lay it on top so it doesn’t spray out. Then when you have your desired amount inside of it, bend the plunger slightly to one side and slide it down until the product starts to come out of the tip. The only bad thing about this product is the high price. There isn’t a generic as of yet. Some insurances will deny it until you’ve tried other products first. Don’t give up. Keep appealing."

Proctofoam (pramoxine) "Tried creams and TUCKs nothing worked. Went to family Dr who prescribed Proctofoam and relief came within 1-3 days and after 7 days the medium to large hemorrhoid shrunk about 80%. Came with 1 refill (ask for refill) and entire Hemorrhoid (multiple bumps) was gone by end of two weeks. I have had hemorrhoids return about once every few years now and immediately call doctor and ask for Proctofoam. Take it until it disappears. For me flying long distances seems to bring it back (sitting and maybe the altitude?). Highly recommend! It is a miracle drug."
