Pramoxine topical for Hemorrhoids "Tried creams and TUCKs, nothing worked. Went to family doctor who prescribed Proctofoam, and relief came within 1-3 days. After 7 days, the medium to large hemorrhoid shrunk about 80%. Came with 1 refill (ask for refill), and the entire hemorrhoid (multiple bumps) was gone by the end of two weeks. I have had hemorrhoids return about once every few years now and immediately call the doctor and ask for Proctofoam. Take it until it disappears. For me, flying long distances seems to bring it back (sitting and maybe the altitude?). Highly recommend! It is a miracle drug."
