For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have taken Phendimetrazine 35 mg three times per day in the past and have had excellent effects. I am usually very sensitive to medications, but this medicine I had no problems at all. I had no chest palpitations, no heart arrhythmias, no migraines, no increase in my blood pressure."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on and off phendimetrazine 35 mg for three years. The first two months I ever took them, I lost 50 pounds. Until the past year, I had a great experience with it... although I would yo-yo if I came off the pills and diet, they were extremely effective while doing it correctly. I would strongly recommend never combining the pills with alcohol, too much caffeine, or cigarettes. The last year has actually driven me to be very hesitant to use the medicine. I am truly nervous about having a heart attack. I became very nervous, anxious, experienced high blood pressure, and heart palpitations. It's scary. Just be very careful because you will eventually think you need these pills to lose weight, and that is terrible. Be careful!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Read some reviews here, can relate to someone that said they had palpitations and feeling of 'closing of the throat.' You are either taking too much or you might have already a tendency to anxiety, and as a stimulant, this medication will increase symptoms of anxiety. What can also help in case of the negative reactions, besides lowering the dosage, is DEFINITELY take the pill with at least an 8 oz glass of water to help dilute some of the strength of this diet aid. Taking it with a full glass or skim, soy or almond milk will be also soothing of negative symptoms."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking this medication on 4/6/10 and have so far, as of today, lost 10 lbs. I love it. For the first time, I did experience heart palpitations, which scared me a little bit. The next day, they were gone. I would recommend this medication to anyone. My goal is to lose 50 lbs, and I will agree my focus is great, and I have not experienced any jitters or problems falling asleep. My doctor has me taking the medication on a time schedule, which is at 1 pm, then 4 pm, and lastly at 7 pm, with a B12 shot every 2 weeks. I have experienced dry mouth, but I just upped my water intake since I am not a big fan of water. I do not eat any high-calorie foods at all. I only eat chicken breast (deli) about 3 slices with some veggies and have water."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Previous user of Adipex (phentermine), which would work great for the first few weeks, but then totally wear off, not to mention the side effects (insomnia, heart palpitations, constipation, anxiety) were annoying to deal with. Switched to Bontril and am so happy I did. I feel calm and focused. It's the oddest thing to not have to 'stress' over counting calories and choosing good food options. It just sort of is a perk with Bontril. One tip: drink lots of water. Bontril, water and clean eating dropped 8.7 pounds off me in a week. One of the best parts is going to bed and being able to sleep, which was hard with Adipex."
