For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm 40 years old, very active, eat right but couldn't shed the pounds. I'm 5'3, 178 lbs. I started taking the medicine on Tuesday. It's now Saturday and I lost 10 pounds! You have to keep drinking water, make sure you eat within 45 minutes of taking the medicine, and eat 5 times a day. You won't want to, but make sure you do. I haven't experienced any side effects except a little headache, nothing bad enough where I wanted to stop taking it. I wish I would've started this months ago!"

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Bontril since December 28th, 2010. I am pleased to say that I have lost 7 pounds the first week and 6 pounds the second week, and tomorrow will be 3 weeks and I have lost 3 this week. In total, I have lost 16 pounds so far. I have experienced dry mouth, suppressed appetite, and headaches. However, none of them bad enough to make me stop yet. When I look in the mirror, I am so pleased. I started out at 171 pounds and now am at 155 pounds. Every day I am excited to see what my scale says once I get up. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to lose weight. LOTS of WATER will make you feel full, so it is very much needed. I haven't been able to exercise yet due to an injury in my back."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Bontril on 6/17/13. The first week, I lost 10 lbs. I eat cleanly and exercise 3 days a week. Side effects include insomnia only if I don't exercise, decreased appetite, increased energy, a slight headache. I haven't lost any additional pounds."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I just started phendimetrazine yesterday. I was given the 35mg dose and split the tab in half and took it around 10 am. I have taken Phentermine in the past, and it makes me feel very jittery and gives me headaches. I didn't experience this at all with phendimetrazine! I'm so pleased. I didn't even think about food and had to force myself to eat lunch. By dinner time, it was starting to wear off, so I was able to eat but still not all that hungry. I went to bed at 10 pm and was able to fall right to sleep. I'm 5'10' and weighed 174 lbs at my weigh-in yesterday, and today I was already down 2 lbs. I'm hoping to lose 15 lbs total, and I feel very optimistic!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "So far, I've been on this medicine for 7 days and have lost 7 lbs as of yesterday. I worked out 3 days for about 30 minutes each day. I have still eaten the same but just have stayed away from sweets. My appetite is completely gone, I eat a little pouch of oatmeal in the morning and a Lean Cuisine for lunch. Sometimes I feel a little hungry and will have Greek yogurt in between. I do track my calories via the MyFitnessPal app on my phone, so that helps to not overeat. I did have a slight headache and felt a little jittery, but nothing major at all. I was nervous because some reviews had me worried. Otherwise, I am still taking it, and I'm excited to see how much I lose this week! It is expensive, by the way, luckily, I have an insurance card that covers it."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have only used this medication once, and it was amazing for controlling my appetite, even better than phentermine. However, I have migraines and am being treated for them with Topamax. I had a mild headache before taking the Bontril, and after taking the Bontril, the headache only got worse throughout the day. My energy and mood were terrific, appetite was suppressed. I had total control of what I ate all day and night. When night came, I was in terrible pain with my migraine. None of my usual rescue medicines worked (Imitrex). I was getting nervous, come bedtime, I was restless, could not sleep, had a terrible migraine all night long, like the Bontril wouldn't wear off. I almost went to urgent care for my head since Imitrex was not working."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking Bontril 105 for 6 months now. I have lost a total of 40 lbs, but I am not the strictest of people. I have changed my diet a lot but still have days where I cheat and eat bad things. Went through 3 kinds of pills before I got to this one due to headaches daily."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been taking Bontril SR (105 mg) for 30 days. The 1st week I lost 7 lbs and the 2nd week I lost 3 lbs and none since. The 1st week I had tons of energy and a significant decrease in appetite. The 2nd week my appetite started to come back and the energy was gone. I now have almost the same appetite as before, although I do get full a little quicker. Went to the doctor today to get a refill. Going to try 1 more month. I did follow the 1200 calorie diet and drank lots of water the 1st 2 weeks. It is hard to restrict calories now that the hunger is back. As far as side effects, I did experience headaches, insomnia, and dry mouth for a few days, but that has gone away. I was also irritable that 1st week. Now the only side effect is dizziness if I don't drink enough water."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking phendimetrazine (Bontril 105 mg) since Sunday, for about 4 days. The first day, I was a little jittery and could not eat anything. Then I developed a very bad headache, but after my body getting over the initial shock, it has adjusted to the medicine. I weighed in on Sunday at 214 lbs, today, Thursday, I am 204. I have lost a whopping 10 lbs... I am so excited about this. I am watching my diet, and I work out like crazy doing Boot Camp, Circuit Training, and CrossFit Training with my trainers. I started to take the medicine because I was doing all that exercise, and my weight was not going down, but now the combination of the pill and exercise, I am seeing changes. I am 34 and 5'1."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been taking this for almost 4 weeks now. I weighed in at the doctor 3 days ago and have lost 14 lbs already. I was 202 lbs and I am down to 188 lbs, at 5'2. I have been on a strict 1200-calorie diet and have not exercised, although I have a 19-month-old I chase after all day. I have increased energy, and I feel great about myself. They really work to help with appetite control. I also just started taking a multivitamin just to be sure I am getting enough nutrition. The only downer is that I have been having bad headaches for the past week. So I've been just taking Motrin. I take 3 pills at 10 am every morning. And I sleep great at night. I recommend these to those who really want to change their lifestyle."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been using Bontril for 7.5 weeks with only a 6 lb weight loss following a great diet of protein, fruits, and vegetables. I just phoned my physician's office and informed them that I plan on taking myself off of the medication secondary to severe constipation, headaches, insomnia, fatigue, and frequent urination. I have been off the medication for 5 days and feel so much better. I didn't realize the potential cardiac complications until today. Oh well, live and learn! Good luck to all!!"

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I lost 6 pounds in the first week of taking Bontril, then no more loss. I didn't have cravings at first, but after 3 weeks, I am hungry again. Headaches are gone, still doing the diet, but nothing happens. I will finish the first bottle and see if it is worth it to start a second. I had high expectations."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking Bontril for 3 months and have lost over 17 pounds, which is only 3 pounds from my goal. The only side effects I have felt are some constipation and a slight increase in headaches. I'm starting to wean myself off the pills now and have found no increase in my appetite. This medication worked great for me!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started as a 220 lbs 6' man. I look good with a shirt on, and don't experience any social stigma for my weight, but knowing my BMI puts my ideal weight at 185. I decided to try this for a month and lose some flab. The first two weeks were amazing. No altered mental status, no insomnia, just a little headache. It prevented food and alcohol cravings, it gave me the incentive to work out before work. So far, so good. After the 15-day mark, it considerably lost its effectiveness. Near the end (30 days total), it didn't have any effect whatsoever. I partook in all the Christmas feasting. I stopped cardio and started partying again. By the end, I was down to 205 lbs, but it's deceptive. I looked no different and now am getting worse cravings than before."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Today is my first day taking phendimetrazine 35 mg. I was taking phentermine 37.5 mg before. Phentermine helped me lose 15 pounds in less than a month, but then it stopped helping suppress my appetite, so the doctor told me to take phendimetrazine along with the phentermine. So I am supposed to take 1 pill of phentermine in the morning before noon and then take phendimetrazine in the afternoon around 4 or 5 p.m. I haven't had any food cravings as of yet. I do feel very energetic. I had a headache earlier in the day, but that was because I hadn't eaten anything."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I went to a diet clinic today, and my doctor put me on phendimetrazine 105 mg. I take it at 10 am, then at 3 pm, I take the 35 mg phendimetrazine. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I take hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg (water pill). I weighed 235 lbs, BIGGEST I'VE EVER BEEN, when I started my job in February. This morning, when I took my 1st pill, it didn't take very long at all to kick in! I had a headache this evening, but I lay down and took a 30-minute nap, and it went away! So far, so good. The only bad thing is I have to work tomorrow, and it's 2:26 am already."
