For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on the 35 mg, 2x a day for 2 days, and I have no appetite at all. I am very focused, have tons of energy, and feel amazing. I have a heart issue that my doctor is aware of, and this dosage does not make me feel jittery at all. I don’t even know what my starting weight was as I was too embarrassed to look at the scale, but feel I need to lose close to 50 lbs. Only negative...not tired!!!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I just started phendimetrazine yesterday. I was given the 35mg dose and split the tab in half and took it around 10 am. I have taken Phentermine in the past, and it makes me feel very jittery and gives me headaches. I didn't experience this at all with phendimetrazine! I'm so pleased. I didn't even think about food and had to force myself to eat lunch. By dinner time, it was starting to wear off, so I was able to eat but still not all that hungry. I went to bed at 10 pm and was able to fall right to sleep. I'm 5'10' and weighed 174 lbs at my weigh-in yesterday, and today I was already down 2 lbs. I'm hoping to lose 15 lbs total, and I feel very optimistic!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "So far, I've been on this medicine for 7 days and have lost 7 lbs as of yesterday. I worked out 3 days for about 30 minutes each day. I have still eaten the same but just have stayed away from sweets. My appetite is completely gone, I eat a little pouch of oatmeal in the morning and a Lean Cuisine for lunch. Sometimes I feel a little hungry and will have Greek yogurt in between. I do track my calories via the MyFitnessPal app on my phone, so that helps to not overeat. I did have a slight headache and felt a little jittery, but nothing major at all. I was nervous because some reviews had me worried. Otherwise, I am still taking it, and I'm excited to see how much I lose this week! It is expensive, by the way, luckily, I have an insurance card that covers it."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on phendimetrazine as well as a natural thyroid pill since July. I have lost a total of 35 lbs, but I have changed my diet dramatically. I do not eat any bad carbs. I have also completely cut out sugar and only drink water. I do believe that I could've lost this weight with my diet change alone, because I have already done so in the past. Now, on my 3rd month, I have noticed that I am very irritable. I have been having a lot of anxiety and depression. I find myself having difficulty breathing, feeling as though what I am assuming is a panic attack. I feel as though I cannot swallow at times. I also find myself overcome with extreme sadness and get mad and feel violent. I also feel as if I am going a little insane. Be cautious."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started gaining when I got engaged and now need to get it off. Unfortunately, I cannot take GLP-1 drugs due to my history with pancreatitis. I was started on 37.5 mg phentermine (Adipex-P), one tablet in the AM. I had used it successfully years before, but I am older now and I absolutely hated how phentermine made me feel - jittery, angry, irritated, and anxious. It has a long half-life as well, which I hated. I switched to 35 mg phendimetrazine (Bontril PDM) after 2 months of phentermine, and the difference is night and day. Phendimetrazine is smooth, has a much shorter half-life, and works better for my food cravings. I only take 35 mg twice a day, as more than 70 mg makes me feel very stimulated. It's a great option for those of us who need something stronger than phentermine without the intense side effects."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Took it for about two months (skipping doses on weekends and some weekdays due to extreme side effects), started having extreme difficulty breathing, anxiety attacks from not being able to breathe with such a tight chest. Also, it made me ridiculously irritable and mean all the time, but I did lose 15 lbs on it. Most of the time, I felt like I was literally going insane. Not sure it was worth it though."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on and off phendimetrazine 35 mg for three years. The first two months I ever took them, I lost 50 pounds. Until the past year, I had a great experience with it... although I would yo-yo if I came off the pills and diet, they were extremely effective while doing it correctly. I would strongly recommend never combining the pills with alcohol, too much caffeine, or cigarettes. The last year has actually driven me to be very hesitant to use the medicine. I am truly nervous about having a heart attack. I became very nervous, anxious, experienced high blood pressure, and heart palpitations. It's scary. Just be very careful because you will eventually think you need these pills to lose weight, and that is terrible. Be careful!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Read some reviews here, can relate to someone that said they had palpitations and feeling of 'closing of the throat.' You are either taking too much or you might have already a tendency to anxiety, and as a stimulant, this medication will increase symptoms of anxiety. What can also help in case of the negative reactions, besides lowering the dosage, is DEFINITELY take the pill with at least an 8 oz glass of water to help dilute some of the strength of this diet aid. Taking it with a full glass or skim, soy or almond milk will be also soothing of negative symptoms."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking phendimetrazine (Bontril 105 mg) since Sunday, for about 4 days. The first day, I was a little jittery and could not eat anything. Then I developed a very bad headache, but after my body getting over the initial shock, it has adjusted to the medicine. I weighed in on Sunday at 214 lbs, today, Thursday, I am 204. I have lost a whopping 10 lbs... I am so excited about this. I am watching my diet, and I work out like crazy doing Boot Camp, Circuit Training, and CrossFit Training with my trainers. I started to take the medicine because I was doing all that exercise, and my weight was not going down, but now the combination of the pill and exercise, I am seeing changes. I am 34 and 5'1."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I tried this years ago when I became tolerant to phentermine. I thought this drug would be the 'next step up.' I took it three times daily, but don't remember the dose. It did not give me anxiety, but did give me severe panic attacks (I know that doesn't even make sense!) I had never experienced a panic attack before this drug or since discontinuing. It did not suppress my appetite. That could have been from the cross-tolerance to phentermine. I am the one who brought it to the attention of my doctor, who had never prescribed it previously. I guess there is a reason doctors don't prescribe it: not very effective with bad side effects and frequent dosing requirements."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "This is the first time I've taken a diet pill that didn't leave me jittery or with balloon-head syndrome. I went grocery shopping about an hour after I took a dose. It was the first time in years that I only bought what was on my list."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am not at all hungry, and I too feel more focused. I do not have the anxiety I had with the Adipex. I just started taking it and have not weighed yet, but I feel so much more in control now."

Phendimetrazine for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Previous user of Adipex (phentermine), which would work great for the first few weeks, but then totally wear off, not to mention the side effects (insomnia, heart palpitations, constipation, anxiety) were annoying to deal with. Switched to Bontril and am so happy I did. I feel calm and focused. It's the oddest thing to not have to 'stress' over counting calories and choosing good food options. It just sort of is a perk with Bontril. One tip: drink lots of water. Bontril, water and clean eating dropped 8.7 pounds off me in a week. One of the best parts is going to bed and being able to sleep, which was hard with Adipex."
