"Too bad most all physicians do not trust patients to take home barbiturate hypnotics anymore; the utility of these drugs is very small anyway-for occasional use ONLY as directed. Yet they are way more effective for insomnia than the too weak alternatives of today/2022 that encourage sleepwalking-type activity, which is potentially fatal or embarrassing and too often failing their indication efficacy. Yes, another 'Oh well' moment for the growing list!"

Pentobarbital "I have found this medicine to be very good in helping me fall asleep and wake feeling very rested. I have taken it for 30 years off and on, with absolutely no problems. Generally, I use it as prescribed to regulate my sleep cycle and never more than 21 days out of the month."
