For Rosacea "Please do a spot test with this! Do not use it over your entire face to start! Absolutely terrible. I used it twice and had the most terrible rebound redness. Burning, stinging, itching, you name it! It turned my face so red that I almost turned purple/red. Thankfully, I only tested it on one tiny part of my face. The rash went away after I went to sleep, so hopefully, it will stay that way."

For Rosacea "I went to the dermatologist complaining of minor acne and some facial redness. I was told to use Aczone and Retin - both were fine. My derm insisted I try Rhofade, claiming it was the new 'miracle' cream for rosacea patients. I was so hesitant after reading all of these terrible reviews that I decided not to use it then. I went back for a follow-up, and again she was insisting I NEEDED to use this, it works wonders!!! I used Rhofade for 3 days... that's it. That was 4 weeks ago, and since then I've been through the worst with my skin. Every square inch of my face is covered in red and white bumps!!! I've been on prednisone, a topical steroid, a topical antibiotic, an oral antibiotic for one month (still on), and now something called Elidel. I am still trying to recover, and this week the rash came back WORSE THAN EVER. So bad that I cannot go into work this week. If there is anything you take from this review - please DO NOT USE RHOFADE. Despite what your dermatologist tells you."

For Rosacea "Do not use this product! My rosacea was doing well with laser treatment, but I was given this product to use as an adjunct. My entire face broke out in a random rash as well as hives. I tried it again after 2 months, and the same thing happened. I don't know why doctors dispense this medication. I do have sensitive skin, but never expected anything like this to happen. I'm cleansing with hypoallergenic soap/cream and gentle astringent-hoping for the best. Even 2.5 percent hydrocortisone couldn't stop the intense itching. I mean, this is our faces we're talking about here."

For Rosacea "This is my 6-month check-in after my horrible rebound redness reaction to Rhofade back in March of this year. Wish I could say I'm back to normal, but I'm still not. Still dealing with nasty heat intolerance I developed following my reaction, and my skin is still blotchy with little red spots all over my cheeks that become extremely noticeable when I overheat in my sleep (no sweating) and when I wear a face mask (for protection against COVID). I am still struggling to regain a normal life. I oftentimes overheat and flush when I go out of my house - whether that is to a restaurant or to a friend's house - if there is not enough airflow or there is too much overhead light, I am bound to have a nasty flush. I, like many others, am still extremely upset that the derm who prescribed Rhofade to me did not warn me of any side effects. My rosacea was very mild prior to my use of Rhofade, and to think 6 months later I am still suffering from four days' use of Rhofade is extremely sad."

For Rosacea "Please do not use this product. I’m not sure why there are dermatologists recommending this product, I’m guessing the company probably paid them. I had mild rosacea and got two little samples to try on. I’m so grateful that I never picked up the full-size one at the pharmacy. I developed very bad flushing at night. I thought I had a cold or fever, so I kept drinking water until feeling sick and got sent to the ER. The rashes last for about a week. I went back to my doctor, and she told me about this rebound reaction. God, this cream is awful, please do not use it."

"I was prescribed Rhofade to treat red marks left from an acne breakout. I broke out in hives five minutes after applying it and started to have trouble breathing, which led me to call 911. As it turns out, I was having an extreme allergic reaction to it."
