For Rosacea "Same as others. Tried it, and the first day it worked great at getting rid of mild redness. Used it for a week, and each day the tingling, burning, and redness, now deeper than ever, came on. Will never use again."

For Rosacea "I have severe rosacea that got worse after I had my son. I am taking doxycycline and using a medicated face wash and a cream. They have helped immensely, but I still have residual redness. I told my derm I notice a lot of capillaries. So, since we were doing telemedicine because of COVID, she prescribed me Rhofade (short of laser in the office). She said it’s like “Visine for the face.” The first day, I noticed a difference. That was the day before yesterday. My skin seemed...tighter? My pores were tighter. It helped slightly with the redness but didn’t affect some of the bigger capillaries. I didn’t use it yesterday. I used it today, put it on this morning. About 3, my cheeks just under my cheekbones started tingling...almost feels like the beginning of a facial twitch, but it doesn’t actually twitch. I showered and washed my face and it’s continuing. I don’t see a big enough effect on my redness to deal with this tingling. My face also feels hot. This cream is not working for me."

For Rosacea "I experienced extreme tingling all over my face that was very uncomfortable after using Rhofade. I waited a week and re-tried with the same response. It felt like little electric currents all over my face. Use with caution!"

For Rosacea "My rosacea is solely just persistent redness with flushing. I previously tried Mirvaso, which causes terrible blotchiness and rebound redness. My dermatologist prescribed Rhofade a few days ago. A few hours after application, I began noticing paresthesia (tingling & pins/needles) in my cheeks. This is not a reported side effect. On day 3, my face had multiple acne-like red bumps on my cheeks and forehead! I haven’t had acne this bad since puberty and have never had acne on my cheeks. I skipped my dose this morning and had very slight rebound - nothing I was concerned about. I do like that it doesn’t really cause rebound, but I hate the tingling and new bumps. I’m going to use it every other day and see if my skin gets used to it. I think the cream makes my face noticeably less red and I have some reduced flushing. My normal skin routine includes Hydro Boost gel-cream extra dry skin and the Rodan & Fields smooth regimen."

For Rosacea "Yeah, please don’t use this stuff! I went in to a dermatologist for problems on my left cheek. He gave me faith that Rhofade used with Soolantra would improve everything drastically. First day I used Rhofade, it helped with the redness. But continuing use, 3 days later, my face became angry, inflamed, my other cheek (which had no problems to begin with) now looks as bad as the other. Constant itching, burning, and tingling. I want to claw my face off! Not to mention I have a welt by my upper cheekbone. I went and got some aloe, so we will see if that helps cool everything. But, yoooooo! PLEASE DON’T USE THIS!"

For Rosacea "Wow! It makes all the redness and little broken capillaries literally disappear! I only have mild rosacea with some flushing. I've been using it for a couple of months. I'm so impressed! My skin looks better than it has in years, and I can go light on my foundation or skip it! I do feel a tingly sensation at times on my face, but it's worth the trade-off for me. I'm very happy with Rhofade!"

For Rosacea "I had very mild redness and was surprised when my dermatologist gave me a few Rhofade samples. I only applied it once and discontinued because of weird tingling sensations all over my face. In about two days after that, my face turned red and was covered with tiny pimples. I’ve never had those before. It’s been a week since, and my face is slightly less red and no more pimples, but overall it’s still much worse than before Rhofade. I’ve never had any reaction to alcohol until then either, but now a single drink makes my face red. I reported my case to the FDA and will be looking for a different dermatologist. I think it’s totally irresponsible to give out samples of medication that can cause lasting damaging effects."

For Rosacea "I normally don't write reviews - and never before for a drug, but my skin is so red and inflamed, I felt I had to. The first week of using Rhofade was fine. I didn't see a big difference, but continued to use, thinking it may come in time. I have mild rosacea on my lower cheeks (only). I felt that my cheeks were more red in the mornings (prior to putting on the cream). I ended up putting the cream on the apples of my cheeks - as the redness had spread. Days went by, and the redness became more apparent. Yesterday, I was covering my cheeks and had a tiny amount of product left over on my fingertip. I spread a small circle on my forehead (no redness at all - completely pale white). It wasn't until mid-afternoon that I used the restroom and looked at my face. A small bright red circle was on my forehead. I was so embarrassed. This stuff is making me red. It's making my cheeks tingly. I'm so frustrated I am out the $50 and left with a worse face."

For Rosacea "When I went to my dermatologist to have a mole removed, I asked him to evaluate my cheeks and nose. He informed me that I had mild rosacea and prescribed Rhofade. Unfortunately, this decision led to a significant mistake and resulted in trauma. Despite typically researching anything I put into my body extensively, I did not do so in this instance. Initially, I applied Rhofade in the morning, and it did fade the redness on my cheeks and nose somewhat. However, the next day, when I used it again, I felt a severe tingling and burning sensation. Within an hour, my cheeks and nose turned bright red, and my skin felt hot. I was so embarrassed that I had to call off work for the day. Now, two days after the second application of Rhofade, my face turns lobster-red with any stress, walking, or minimal exertion. This outcome has left me utterly devastated."

For Rosacea "DO NOT USE RHOFADE! I was switched to this from Mirvaso because my insurance would cover it. I needed a rosacea medication for severe and persistent flushing. I used this ONCE and believe I may have permanent nerve damage. I applied a small amount to both cheeks and within hours experienced severe pain and tingling like a blowtorch was on my face. I had tingling for weeks and a month later I feel like there is permanent sensation damage. This drug is HARMFUL! I reported it to Allergan, and they are unconcerned, and I can't even get my $50 co-pay back. If you need something for your cheeks, try Mirvaso."
