Daypro (oxaprozin) for Osteoarthritis "I'm 73 and need a knee replacement. While I am waiting for it, I am using Daypro. It's great for me. I was having a lot of pain at night, and this helps during the day as well as at night. I'm not jittery or 'hung over' in the morning, and yet I can sleep. Great."

Daypro (oxaprozin) for Rheumatoid Arthritis "It's great for the joints and does make them feel better, almost like the joints are floating on gel. The bad side of it is that it doesn't help with other pain you may have. So your only option for that is Tylenol."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "I have a difficult job where I cut meat 10 hrs a day. My hands hurt, and I can't sleep at night. I have found amazing relief at work and at night when I sleep. I don't notice any side effects. I get little relief from NSAIDs and opiates, but I can definitely tell the difference if I take it. This med, where the opiates only mask the pain."

For Osteoarthritis "I have a genetic connective tissue disorder that causes early-onset osteoarthritis. I had horrible pain in my sacroiliac joint and hip that extended down through my groin due to my hypermobility. My rheumatologist gave me this since Advil wasn't helping. Although it helped the pain, the side effects were ridiculous. I was so drowsy throughout the day that it took me forever to wake up. I also had horrible belly bloat (a known side effect) and constipation. I finally decided after a week to stop taking it."
