For Depression "Really happy it helped me a lot. Severe depression. I took it, then another dose 2 hours later. I sweated etc, felt very chilled, then a slight headache. Felt a little tired and sick, fell asleep 2 hours. When I woke, I felt different. I started cleaning my kitchen and bedroom. I lost my daughter Autumn to suicide in Oct. So believe me, my depression was severe. Cleaning was a task I could not perform. Thinking more clearly with no negative thoughts coming intrusively in my head. I really could not believe it. Gonna try it again tomorrow."

Niacin for High Cholesterol "Woke up and felt like I was on fire. Skin was red, and my heart was pounding. Nauseated and very itchy. Calling my doctor in the morning. It is not worth it. This has happened twice, but this time it is worse. Feel very sick from it. My skin is so red."

"I took niacin right before my breakfast for the first time. Upon my second bite of yogurt, I felt a huge flushing taking place from head, neck, then down to the bum and legs. Then, I became extremely lightheaded and nauseous. I fainted. Needless to say, my husband had the paramedics take me to our local hospital where they gave me the EpiPen, Benadryl as I thought it may be the yogurt I ate a couple bites of. I totally forgot I took this niacin. Once I saw the side effects, it all made sense. My breathing became shallow, but BP and heart rate was fine. Just a warning. It obviously hit me hard!"
