For Sinus Symptoms "Use the mometasone nasal spray as directed, and within 30 minutes started with headache, ringing in ears, shaking, muscle and bone aches. Took antihistamine and had a sweet tea, this calmed me down. Will take this back to the chemist, never use again."

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "It worked like magic for my allergy symptoms. I think it took about 24 to 48 hours to kick in. Now I only use 1 spray per nostril every day. If I skip for more than 2 days, I start sneezing again, and that's how I know this medication works. Now I am interested in looking into long-term use."

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Nasonex worked, grateful for my sinuses. It helped with preventing headaches. The bad thing is I lost my sense of smell. I used it for a very short time and stopped when I realized I couldn't smell. It has been over 3 months since I used it. The sense hasn't returned. I also lost my sense of taste. The taste came back after 2 or 3 weeks of not using the product."

Mometasone nasal for Nasal Polyps "About two years ago, I stayed home sick with what I thought was the flu. After about a week of misery and no relief, I went to the doctor. He told me that all the awful, flu-like symptoms were actually my hay fever acting up, and because I had waited too long to come in, I now had nasal polyps. Many members of my extended family have had them and treated them with Nasonex or even surgery (my aunt can't taste or smell now). Since then, I've used Nasonex nearly every night. There's a very obvious difference between nights I take it and nights that I forget - I tend to wake up with throat congestion and a runny nose. Only once have I actually had a full-on nosebleed."

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I went to see my doctor about inflammation to my throat and a slight bit of congestion in the mornings. He prescribed Nasonex. What a relief. Although my symptoms are probably slight compared to most others, this product was easy to use and effective without the harsh chemical feel or taste associated with other nasal medications. Instead of two sprays per nostril, I have elected to use just one spray in each nostril and found my symptoms relieved. If your opinion of nasal sprays is anything like mine used to be, give Nasonex a try for your seasonal allergies."

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "This nose spray has been working great for me. It has transformed my allergic life from literally not being able to function to the normal me. I can't be more grateful. No side effects at all. It is also amazing how it was effective from the second use onwards. I do recommend the continuous use of it."

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I've had an annoying and embarrassing hay fever-related symptom for about 10 years. First, red eyes and itchy tear ducts, which progressed to eyelid twitching. At first, my eyelids twitched whenever I sneezed, but then it would happen randomly and increased in frequency. It became so bad I would avoid meetings at the office. I tried the common hay fever medication, and some helped off and on, but I could never get the darn twitching to stop. A few months ago, I saw my doctor for an unrelated issue, and he prescribed Nasonex. My hay fever, itchy eyes, and eyelid twitching DISAPPEARED within a few days. I feel like a new person now!!!"

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "My permanently blocked and stuffed-up nose cleared within about 3 days of starting this medication; it was fantastic until about two days later when I began to suffer some serious side effects: hives, conjunctivitis in one eye, and flu-like aches and pains. I felt so awful I quit taking the medication that day. Now I'm too scared to try it again! If it hadn't been for the side effects, I would've given 10/10."

For Sinus Symptoms "I’ve been taking this mometasone nasal spray along with azelastine, and 3 weeks into using them, I started to realize my heart rate was extremely high constantly. I had a bit of chest pain, and my usual health anxiety was elevated. My doctor at the ENT wants me to continue to use it for another 3 weeks, but after reading all these reviews and realizing I’m not crazy, it is making me decide to stop using."

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I've had hay fever for over a decade now, and every summer I have suffered very badly with it. I had tried everything from pharmacy to natural remedies, which weren't helping, and every year my summers would be ruined due to being ill with it constantly. But I recently got given Nasonex by my doctor, and within 2 days I had no hay fever symptoms and haven't now for over 3 weeks since I've had it, although the pollen count has been high throughout. Very grateful for this product."

Mometasone nasal for Sinus Symptoms "Gave me horrible migraines, insomnia, anxiety; and all for nothing, my sinuses are exactly the same. Avoid. I don't know why doctors prescribe this. This should be taken off the market. I suffered miserably for months. Sudafed is as bad as well. Avoid Sudafed at all costs."

For Sinus Symptoms "Well, I used the first dose of mometasone nasal of two pumps in each nostril for sinus problems - and will never use it again! Six days later, I still feel dizzy all the time, blurry vision, tired. I just hope today is the last day of it. After an hour of the dose, my left side of the face was swelling, I felt shaky, had flashing in my eyes. I was in a panic. The next day, I couldn’t keep still, my heart was racing. It carried on all week. I went to the hospital, they said severe reaction, never use it again. My face had swollen more and around my throat. They said I would be okay to come home and that the swelling would go away, but day six now, I am so hoping it will be gone soon."

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I went to the doctor because of a serious flu that affected my breathing because of post-nasal drips, extreme coughing, and fearsome blockage of my throat while coughing. Among two other medicines, including general cough medicine, he prescribed Nasonex. This has helped tremendously. It has cleared my nasal passages and it has allowed me to breathe properly. It has stopped my heavy snoring, which was caused by having to breathe through my mouth. I do not know whether I am imagining it, but for years I have had erectile dysfunction, so much so that I have given up trying anything to cure it and just accepted my condition. However, lately I am getting reasonable erections at night, and I wonder if it is some beneficial side effect of Nasonex."

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "This is the best product I've ever used for allergies. For a long time, I've suffered terribly with hay fever, which antihistamines controlled, but it was the constant itchy face, nose, and neck that made life miserable for me, and I couldn't find anything to control it. I had tried other nasal sprays, but to no avail. A friend recommended Nasonex, and I tried it reluctantly. After 1 week of taking it (one spray in each nostril every morning), I am delighted. No more itchiness, sneezing, watery eyes, and no more misery!! I'm very happy and grateful, and I've suffered no side effects so far."

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Nasonex worked great for what it was intended. My nasal passages opened up during the worst allergy season on record, and I didn't want to scratch my face off. I had to stop using it, though, because it was causing tension headaches and eye weirdness. I even stopped and started again to make sure it was the Nasonex, and it was. Oh well. It's worth trying if your insurance covers it, otherwise, it's $200+..."

For Sinus Symptoms "I will never use Nasonex again, worst drug ever. I have been really ill, racing heart, no taste, the most terrible diarrhea, and pains in my stomach. I have been so tired, could sleep for a month. I have had these before. But never put it down to this. Now I know, please think carefully before you use this drug."

Mometasone nasal for Sinus Symptoms "My son experienced an adverse reaction the morning after the first dose (1 spray per nostril). He complained of a headache I thought was just because of his colds, he coughed more frequently and late in the afternoon, he had a low-grade fever. Then he complained his legs ached. I related all these to different things like another cold or too much playing. Then I read the drug info, that's when I had a hunch, so after the second spray, I observed his reaction in the first 2 hours. Then the coughing happened again. I will stop the spray now and find a way to talk to the doctor tomorrow. I gave him Benadryl syrup and nebulized him with salbutamol. His usual treatment during attacks."

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I have been taking Nasonex for 8 years for seasonal allergies to various tree pollens. I get the horribly itchy eyes/nose/palate and runny nose. If I start taking Nasonex a few weeks prior to spring pollen season, it really helps and reduces about 90% of my symptoms. This way, I can still function for the month or two of pollen season. I would recommend this to people with birch tree allergies."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I kid you not. Reading these reviews has made me realize I wasn’t going crazy, and it will take a serious amount of sleep to catch up! 6 months pregnant. Rhinitis. Get it every time. I use xylometazoline, but it’s not good long term, so I'm trying to limit my use. The doctor said to try Nasonex, so prescribed me this so I could wean off the xylometazoline. Within 3 hours of taking it, I did initially feel better, although my nose wasn’t completely unblocked. Until I went to bed. As I am writing this, it is 4:45 am, I haven’t been to sleep. I’ve had night sweats, heart palpitations, anxiety, and a crying session. I didn’t know what was wrong with me until I read the reviews after I thought it could well be. I am shocked I am not alone! I cannot fathom how any doctor can prescribe something so toxic, especially to a pregnant woman."

Mometasone nasal for Sinus Symptoms "I've been using Nasonex for a good 3 weeks now, and it really doesn't seem to work at all. If anything, it seems to make my nose even more runny, and now I can even taste it. Use with caution, it could make your problem worse."

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "After having quite a lot of tests on allergies done, and still unable to find out what the problem of my running nose was, using Nasonex helped to relieve the most unpleasant effects of my condition. I have not experienced any side effects. What I enjoy the most is that this spray doesn't destroy or acidify my nose."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Always suffered with sinus problems, but about six months ago, I started to do a sinus rinse about three times a week. And one side of my sinus cleared. But the other side still felt blocked. Went to the doctor, they prescribed mometasone nasal spray. After three days of using, my sinuses felt really dry. Was getting headaches, felt dizzy. I came off it. I will persevere with my sinus wash."

Mometasone nasal for Sinus Symptoms "Got prescribed Nasonex for sinusitis. I was supposed to be on it for a month, but I could only handle the side effect symptoms for a week. I wanted to alleviate my sinus symptoms because of the sinus headaches I was getting, but Nasonex just gave me even more intense headaches that made my cheeks and forehead go numb. My nasal cavities are a little clearer, but I can't even function with these headaches. So not worth the trade-off."

For Sinus Symptoms "I've been using this mometasone nasal spray for a while, and it worked really well for my allergy symptoms. Since I started the spray, I've been getting unusual migraines constantly, which I rarely get. It was only today that I finally connected the dots and found that the spray is the reason I've been getting these migraines. It works super well for my allergies, but I don't think I can continue because of this side effect!"

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I have allergic rhinitis since I was a kid. Unfortunately, I was told that there is no cure for this allergy, it will be with me for the rest of my life. Doctors have always treated my so-called sinus issue with flu medication and sinus medication. To be honest, it worked for an hour max, and I am back where I started. A doctor prescribed Kestine and Nasonex almost 15 years ago. I used it for the first two days and every time the seasons change. To date, I still use the same products, and I don't regret using it since. Honestly, the best medication available for people who have allergic rhinitis."
