Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "This medicine should be taken off the shelves. My doctor prescribed it because I have really bad allergies and from the third day after using it, my throat got tight and dry making me feel as if I couldn't breathe. One week later, I'm still having nosebleeds from it, my head is spinning, eyes are very heavy. I think I've got every single bad side effect from it. Terrible, terrible, terrible!!! I stopped using it right away! How does the FDA approve something like that, it's beyond me!!!"

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I suffer year-round severe allergies with a runny, sneezy nose, blocked sinuses, and itchy, red, watery eyes. This product works... BUT for me, it isn't worth the side effects - chronic diarrhea, blurred vision, total loss of taste and smell, lethargy, anxiety, headaches, and abdominal cramps. I was taking it last year and had these symptoms, then stopped and they went away, but I didn't connect the two until THIS time when I went on it again. I've been on it for about 3 months, and back came the symptoms. So I did an online search and found so many others with the same experience using Nasonex. This week, I stopped again and will never use it again. This product can also cause Glaucoma and cataracts - how can people be ready to risk the serious side effects of this just for hay fever? I'd rather sneeze my way through life than be blind... and now I know why my vision has been blurry :("

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I have been using Nasonex for over a year, but not consistently. I finally became so miserable with a horrible migraine that I couldn't connect to anything else that I checked side effects. Sure enough, Nasonex is what triggers my migraines. Not only that, I now realize it's what has been making me so mysteriously ill with horrible aches and joint pain, nausea, and extreme exhaustion that hits me about 3-4 days a week, which is how often I use Nasonex. I would much rather have a runny nose than feel this sick."

For Sinus Symptoms "Well, I used the first dose of mometasone nasal of two pumps in each nostril for sinus problems - and will never use it again! Six days later, I still feel dizzy all the time, blurry vision, tired. I just hope today is the last day of it. After an hour of the dose, my left side of the face was swelling, I felt shaky, had flashing in my eyes. I was in a panic. The next day, I couldn’t keep still, my heart was racing. It carried on all week. I went to the hospital, they said severe reaction, never use it again. My face had swollen more and around my throat. They said I would be okay to come home and that the swelling would go away, but day six now, I am so hoping it will be gone soon."

For Sinus Symptoms "I will never use Nasonex again, worst drug ever. I have been really ill, racing heart, no taste, the most terrible diarrhea, and pains in my stomach. I have been so tired, could sleep for a month. I have had these before. But never put it down to this. Now I know, please think carefully before you use this drug."

For Sinus Symptoms "I started with Nasonex mometasone on 7th November, which had been prescribed by an ENT doctor. I had been prescribed this before by my doctor but didn’t use it as I read the side effects were horrendous. I had to use 2 sprays daily. I do wish I had listened to my gut, about a week after using the spray, I started with joint pain, but I just put it down to age and cold weather, not connecting it to Nasonex. Then my eyes started to water and felt heavy. Yesterday, I started to feel anxious, which was not me at all. I then realized it was the Nasonex. I rang my doctors and told them I would be stopping the spray, giving them the reasons. Fortunately, I have an appointment for a CT scan this week and will inform the clinic of my decision. I will never use this again, and I agree with the lady who said it should be taken off the market. I am hoping that these horrible symptoms disappear."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Tried this medication for my post-nasal drip, however, even though it relieved my symptoms of post-nasal drip, it gave me a really bad cold, chills, headache, and caused me to feel lethargic. I will not use this product again and will try to find another product that will treat my post-nasal drip without any of these side effects."

Mometasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Absolutely a nightmare! I was on this nasal spray, Nasonex, for about six months. During that time, I developed excruciating leg aches, and flu-like aches throughout my body that were never-ending. I also had insomnia. It got to the point where I was so exhausted, depressed, and at times couldn’t even see straight. I went to the doctor several times, they took my blood, ran different tests, and nobody could tell me what was wrong with me. So, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and Restless Leg Syndrome were suggested. I was just about to start more medication for these conditions when it dawned on me that it could be the nasal spray after reading reviews. Hard to believe one puff in each nostril daily can make you feel like you are dying."
