For Abortion "I was 5 weeks 4 days when I took this. I have read some not very nice experiences on here, and it really scared me. I was very lucky for it to be very easy for me. I took the first pill at 5 pm. It gave me low back pain, and I felt a bit sick, but nothing bad! 24 hours later, I took the rest. After an hour, I started cramping. A couple of hours after that, I started bleeding. Around 10 pm, I passed the pregnancy. The cramping lasted around 4 hours for me, but honestly, it really wasn’t bad pain! I just felt uncomfortable. A hot water bottle really helps with the cramps! After I took the second lot of pills, I laid in bed and watched some films. It helps take your mind off of it and pass the time. Good luck, ladies! Hope you are all OK! x"

For Abortion "I was 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant when I decided to end it. Day 1: My doctor gave me the first pill orally at 11:30 AM. By 5:15 PM, I inserted the other pills together vaginally. For well over 4 hours, I felt nothing. However, by 10:30 PM, the cramps started to gradually increase from level 3 to about 9. The pain lasted for 1 hour and 30 minutes. By 12:30 AM (Day 2), I went to the bathroom and suddenly, the products of pregnancy came out. After that, the pain decreased dramatically, and my pain level went down to 2. I suggest not worrying about looking because everything will appear bloody, so there's no need to be traumatized. I went to bed and slept for 2 hours and 30 minutes. At 3:30 AM, I woke up with minor pain that lasted for a maximum of 10 minutes. I went to the bathroom again, and more clots and blood came out. After that, my bleeding wasn't heavy, and my pain level went back to 2. On Day 3, I was still experiencing light bleeding. My stomach felt raw, but my body didn't feel as weak. I would suggest taking 4 days to recover. You can do it. Sending love and peace to whoever is reading this."

For Abortion "I had my first pill at the clinic, took the second pill after 48 hrs. As soon as I swallowed, the pain started. Worst pain I have ever experienced. Lasted for 5 hours for me with throwing up, bleeding, and clotting. Used 6 maxi pads in all. After 5 hours, the pain is gone, just normal cramping for me but still bleeding. (I didn’t take in any pain relievers, 'cause I’m allergic). I don’t mean to scare anyone, but be prepared for the pain, and you will be fine. It’s 100% effective."

For Abortion "I’m leaving this review because prior to my abortion, I sat here scaring myself for several days for nothing. I got my pills online because any Planned Parenthood or clinics in my area wanted $600 with financial aid. Aid access allows you to pay whatever you can, in my case $35. I took the first pill and I was nauseous with a little bit of a backache but okay. I could do whatever I needed to do. Took the second 4 pills 24 hours later. I did it at night over the weekend in case it was bad like some of these wild reviews. Within an hour or so of taking the second medication, I started bleeding and passing a few little clots but nothing major, and my pain was hardly any. I took 600 mg of ibuprofen about an hour before, but that is it. I was comfortable enough to fall asleep. I filled up my pad throughout the night and got up the next morning and passed one or two more little clots with some blood in the toilet the next morning. I was between 6-7 weeks."

For Abortion "First off, I don't recommend this pill. I took the first dose at the clinic and inserted four others vaginally. Five hours later, I passed the baby, I was bleeding and passed clots. One week later, I went to the ER due to heavy bleeding and clotting that would not stop. The doctor in the ER said that clotting was normal, and they checked my cervix, and she said I still had clots in my uterus. She prescribed me some medicine to stop the bleeding. I didn't take it at the time because my bleeding had slowed down. But me being hard-headed, I started bleeding again heavily and got scared, so I took the pill, and the bleeding stopped again or became light. Hopefully, I don't bleed again after taking the medicine because I have anxiety and don't like taking different types of medication because of side effects. But I don't recommend going back to work ASAP. Give your body time to heal itself."

For Abortion "Well, I took the abortion pills at 9 weeks. Took the first pill in front of the doctor. He gave me a time, and the soonest and latest I’m able to insert the rest of the pills into my vagina. I did all of that, and I was bleeding for a while. Moral of the story, I come to find out it was unsuccessful, and I was 11 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby. I ended up keeping the baby because I just couldn’t get myself to do it again. The baby is fine and healthy (not all the case for abortions). Everyone’s body is different, but definitely listen and go for a check-up because I had no idea I was still pregnant till they did an ultrasound on me at the ER for being so sick throwing up still. I’m now 14 weeks, and the baby is still healthy. No regrets, just wanted to share my experiences."

For Abortion "I was 6 weeks when I found out I was pregnant and finally managed to get my hands on 8 pills of misoprostol at 6w4d. 8:20 pm - took my first dose; 4 pills sublingually. By 30 minutes they were pretty much dissolved. 9 pm - started shivering profusely; I had to cover up head to toe. 9:50 pm - shivering stopped, started feeling mild stomach cramps and had diarrhea. 11:45 pm - finally experienced heavier bleeding which resembled a heavy period with some coin-sized clots. 11:50 pm - took my second dose. 12:24 am - felt chills again but not as bad as after the first dose. 1:12 am - diarrhea once again and pretty much had diarrhea for the rest of the day. The following day pretty much felt like my first day on a really heavy period; nothing unmanageable. Reading some of the reviews before I took my miso made me feel nauseous, but luckily I had an overall good experience with it. Hope this review will be helpful to whoever needs encouragement!"

For Labor Induction "Just a note for women reading these reviews... using this for an abortion in early pregnancy is VASTLY different than using it for a missed miscarriage further along. Which is why people think it’s a bad period at 6 weeks vs. feeling like natural labor. I was prescribed this to help me remove remaining tissue after a 13-week miscarriage. I had already passed the baby and placenta naturally but had remaining tissue. The ER sent me home with Cytotec and no meds. It was the worst pain of my life. It was worse than the miscarriage portion. The contractions went nonstop, so I didn’t have any time to properly breathe or regain control. I was shaking, sweating, moaning, and losing tons of blood. It was the worst experience. When I saw my OB that next week, he ended up telling me that it is like full-term labor at this point. Horrible!"

For Abortion "I terminated my pregnancy at 5 weeks. I took 2 pills at the clinic, and the nurse then inserted 4 more vaginally. About 3 hours passed before there was any bleeding or cramping. For about 5 hours, the cramps were so intense and, quite honestly, draining. I sat with a hot water bottle and didn’t leave the toilet for the whole time. The pain was so bad it was excruciating, but the next day I felt absolutely fine physically, and the bleeding was just like a normal period."

For Abortion "I don’t often leave reviews, but before taking this med, I read all the reviews on here and it made me feel so much better, so I wanted to add to it. I’m a single mom of two, found out I was 4 weeks pregnant (2 weeks since conception). A week later, I took the meds. Thursday at 8 pm, I took the oral pill, worked all day Friday, and took care of the kids, no issue. Friday at 9 pm, I dissolved the other four. I went to bed at 10 pm, woke up at 4 am to cramping but no bleeding. Went back to bed. At 7 am, I woke up with no cramping and when I went to the washroom, I passed the sac and a few other clots. I’ve had light bleeding since then. No cramps. I was so scared to do this, and it was honestly so easy. I feel tired today, but otherwise completely fine. I took no pain meds and no anti-nausea meds. I also don’t get to rest much because of my two toddlers. It’s a very easy process and I’m glad I did this. Don’t be scared, ladies."

For Abortion "I think the worst possible thing you can do is read these reviews. I got the pill covered through health care. I found out I was pregnant when I was 3 weeks, I had to stay pregnant until I was 4 weeks before I could take the pill. I took it at exactly 4 weeks, so I don’t know if that’s why it wasn’t so painful/traumatic... I stayed up all night before making myself paranoid and scared. I took the first with the doctor and carried on with my day. The next day, when I put the pills in between my gums and cheek, I felt cramps within 20 minutes before I even swallowed them. I had bad cramping for about 10 minutes (6/10 pain scale), and within 30 mins, I was bleeding. I took T3s/ibuprofen every couple of hours. Felt like really bad period pain. No nausea, no upset stomach, or sweats. Just watched movies with my two best friends with snacks and a heating pad on my pelvis... experienced heavy bleeding for about a week and light on-and-off bleeding for 2 more weeks with light cramping."

For Abortion "My gf started the procedure with 3 pills of misoprostol (600 m) (1 sublingual and 2 vaginal) at 12:15 pm. At around 3 pm, she started having the first cramps. At 4 pm, she had the first blood loss. At 4:30, the second one. Afterwards, the pain became unbearable for her (from 4:30 pm until 6 pm), and she had several blood losses. She didn't use any pain meds, and she suffered from diarrhea and nausea too. We decided to see the doctor, as we were worried for her safety, whom we met at 7 pm. He confirmed that the abort was complete and he gave her some injections for pain and nausea. Now she feels better, and she mentioned those hours as the most painful of her life. Make sure to have someone at your side while using this procedure and make sure to have a doctor to contact in case of emergency."

For Abortion "I was about 8 weeks. I took the first oral pill on the Monday. This was absolutely fine, there was no pain or bleeding. Twenty-four hours after, on the Tuesday, I inserted the misoprostol vaginally, I then took two ibuprofen. I waited, lying down, and in about half an hour, I started to feel cramping. In the next half an hour, the cramping got extremely painful. I threw up once, and I then took 4 codeine and lay in bed. The pain eased about half an hour after taking the codeine. About half an hour later, I started bleeding very, very heavily. I went to the toilet, and I felt two clots pass, I was quite certain it was the pregnancy. Although I had already felt the pregnancy pass, 4 hours later, I inserted the two leftover misoprostol in my gum and let them dissolve. I swallowed what didn’t dissolve half an hour later. The pain was like normal period cramping for the rest of it. I am now not pregnant. You can do this, girls, I promise x."

For Abortion "I took the first pill at the doctor's office and four under my tongue the next day. I was so scared I got a heating pad, drank lots of fluids, and lit a candle to make it as comfortable as possible. After two hours, I needed to use the bathroom. I had bad diarrhea, but no blood. I felt nauseous, so I laid back down. I had cramping, later I felt the need to use the bathroom again. This time there was blood and some clotting. Very minimal. The worst part was the diarrhea. I was very early in my pregnancy, only seven days late when I took the abortion pill. Having an abortion is a hard decision. Remember that you can always have a baby when you are ready, and the earlier you take care of it if you don’t want one, the easier it will go. It’s nice to think about my daughter having a sibling, but I know I’m not ready for that. The experience wasn’t traumatic. The worst part was making the decision because I knew ultimately it was up to me. As women, we carry this burden, so prepare for the worst but think good thoughts."

For Labor Induction "I used these pills for a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks, the pregnancy had stopped growing around 6. Here are my tips: 1. Get pain relief. I took the 4 pills and dissolved them in my cheek at around 9 a.m. At around 10:30 a.m., I started feeling cramps. By 3:30 p.m., each wave of intense cramps (7/10) sent me attempting birth techniques to get through the pain. I had taken two Advil before the pills, and I took another 2 around 4 p.m., but I needed something stronger. 2. Use heat. Once the intense cramps started at 3:30 p.m., I wished for a heating pad. I didn’t have one, so I got into the tub. I bent over with each wave of cramps but felt more relaxed, and everything started coming out in spurts. 3. It will end. Be prepared to have it rough. It will end. By about 7 p.m., I could sit on the couch and ride the waves of pain without hunching over. This morning at 6 a.m., I feel okay with menstrual-type bleeding and a mild cramping sensation. Good luck!!"

For Abortion "When I read this page, I was waiting for the pills. I promised I would write a review because I know how you must feel right now. So let me reassure you, YOU WILL BE OK. You are going through a lot, and you are very, very brave. ❤ I took Mifepristone, and nothing happened after. I followed instructions and waited. I vaginally inserted the Misoprostol pill at 5 pm because I didn't want the pain to affect my work. About 11 pm, I started to see a bit of blood coming out. It started to hurt like a bad period (I would say 6-7 out of 10, but nothing compared to IUD/IUS insertion or cervix infection from rough sex, promise). It continuously hurt throughout the whole night, and I needed a hot water bottle to feel better. Yes, it hurt. But nothing you cannot handle. During the night (about 3-4 am), I felt like I had period blood coming out (WEAR PADS!) and went to the bathroom. Palm-size clogged blood came out. I continued to bleed like a period and stopped after 2-3 weeks. You can do it!"

For Abortion "Put pills in at 10:30 pm. Got in the shower. Was bleeding lightly by 11:30 pm. Went to sleep. Woke up about 3 am and started passing everything around 3:30 am. Light bleeding and a few clots when I push, but nothing crazy. Pain was minimal, 1.5/10, however, today my back has been hurting pretty bad. But that’s it."

For Abortion "I was really nervous, as many are, I’m sure! I cried before taking the mifepristone orally. I took it at 8 a.m. and was alone. It was a Friday, and my son would be picked up by his dad after school and be with him partially the weekend. So, perfect timing. I expected bad cramps with that pill, but nothing really happened that day. I actually felt great, maybe a cramp or two. The next morning, I took the misoprostol, two on each cheek, and let it dissolve for 30, then washed it down with water. First immediate reaction was diarrhea for like an hour or so and cramping. Then some blood, then heavy bleeding and clots that felt so weird when they’d come out. I bled all day and the next day with clots, but the cramping would come and go and eventually get better. I was with my boyfriend, so that helped. I wouldn’t really soak the pad, but when I’d pee in the toilet, that’s when everything would come out. You get used to it, and it gets better. It wasn’t terrible, I know you’re wondering ❤️"

For Abortion "Everything will be okay! I read these reviews days before I took the medicine and scared myself out of my mind. I took the first pill at 2:30 on a Thursday and didn't feel anything. On Friday, I took 4 pills vaginally and laid down for 30 minutes. I took 2 Tylenol before inserting the pills, and the cramps were bad, unlike any I've had before. However, I rotated Tylenol and Advil, and eventually, the cramps lessened significantly. In my experience, if you can make it through the first few hours, you'll be alright. I bled heavily, and I am still bleeding heavily, but it's something you can handle. I had a lot of guilt and anxiety about taking the pill, but I can say that it does calm down. You have to believe in yourself. You are strong."

For Abortion "I was 8 weeks. I was terrified before taking this. I took 2 Panadeine Forte. I then put all 4 tablets in my cheeks for 30 minutes and washed them down. Three and a half hours later, I went to the toilet and a little bit of blood came out and I passed the pregnancy. The pain was honestly not even as bad as my periods are. I worked myself up over nothing. Do not worry, you will be fine."

For Abortion "Initially, when I was five weeks pregnant, I sought out pills to terminate the pregnancy. However, I could only find misoprostol, as it was the most affordable option. I inserted two pills vaginally and two sublingually. After a few hours, I experienced cramps and diarrhea, but there was no bleeding. I was advised to repeat the medication after 72 hours. The following week, I purchased combination pills. I took mifepristone and waited for 24 hours before taking the other four pills. About 5-6 hours later, I experienced heavy bleeding and passed some clots and the sac. The cramps persisted for a few minutes. You can do this! Once you endure it and reassure yourself, it will be done. Good luck to those out there."

For Abortion "I was only 4-5 weeks pregnant. I read lots of horror stories online, but my experience was fine, maybe due to the early gestation. I took mifepristone 24 hours beforehand and then took the misoprostol orally. I also took metoclopramide to stop any nausea and Diclofenac for pain. I started getting some cramping and bleeding an hour later that came and went. Bleeding was just like a normal period or less. I then had to take 2 more tablets 4 hours later. A few more light cramps and light bleeding. No clots at all. I didn’t vomit or have any diarrhea. The only negative was about 8 hours later I felt really lightheaded and had to rest for a while and not move. The next day I just used a liner! Very light bleeding. I felt a bit lightheaded still but not sure why. Barely lost any blood. It’s fine!"

For Abortion "I had just missed my period. 5 days late, and I took the test. The very next day I got the pills because I knew I couldn't keep the baby. Two doses of Misoprostol - one under my tongue and one had to be inserted vaginally. I took the pills on a Friday with the impression that everything would pass by Monday so I could go back to work as per norm. I started having cramps within 3-4 hours, but they were manageable with Aleve and a hot water bottle. It is now 1 week since I've taken those pills, and the bleeding has not stopped. The cramps and bleeding got even worse within the last 3 days, I can hardly manage, and I definitely can't function at work. NEVER AGAIN! THIS HAS BEEN THE MOST PAINFUL AND TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE, both emotionally and physically. I just can't wait for it to be over."

For Abortion "I had a silent miscarriage at 7 weeks gestation but only found out about it when I was at 10 weeks during a sonogram. Since I was not bleeding naturally, my doctor scheduled D&C at a hospital with general anesthesia and all. I felt fairly well after the surgery, no cramping, no pain, no heavy bleeding. A week later, my doctor wanted to see me in her office. When I came in, she did a sonogram and said I have some blood clots left in my uterus and said she wants them out. She put misoprostol vaginally (4 tabs) and said to expect severe cramping and heavy bleeding. Well, it did not happen. I did not bleed heavily and had no cramps. A minimal amount of blood came out. I did have a fever for a few hours after administration. Seeing my doctor in a week. My experience was good but I hope that whatever had to come out actually came out. All these scary reviews from people on the website were making me anxious, but everyone is different. Good luck to all."

For Abortion "My OB prescribed me this pill after he informed me that my baby stopped growing at about 11 weeks. I had told him I wanted a D and C, however, he made the pills seem like a less invasive, more attractive option. Told me only how to administer it, nothing about its effects. He also did not prescribe me any pain medication. I had 3 hours of tolerable cramping and then 1 hour of absolute agony. It was like being in labor but not in a hospital or with any pain meds. I passed the tissue and then had excessive bleeding to the point of fainting and blood pressure that they could not even get a reading on. I lost 1/3 of my hemoglobin. After 2 nights in the hospital, they discovered that I still had tissue remaining. So after all that pain and suffering, I still had to get a D and C. Will never do this again."
