For Bacterial Infection "I was prescribed this medicine to treat BV. I was told to take 5 400 mg pills in one dose. This sounded wrong to me, so I decided to have a look online and wished I never! I saw people sharing stories of really horrible side effects such as headache, dizzy spells, and vomiting. Being emetophobic, this really worried me, and I was debating if I'd even take the pills! Eventually, I decided to take them as instructed, on a full stomach, with a large glass of water at night. They did taste a bit horrible, but nothing as bad as I'd read. Once I'd taken them, the taste was gone. I didn't have any dizziness or nausea, nothing, absolutely fine. I think some people have exaggerated their side effects majorly!"

For Bacterial Infection "It ruined my life! Caused dizziness, brain fog, and horrible panic attacks. Two years later and I'm still dealing with the side effects!"

For Giardiasis "I'm only on my third pill of 14, and I was told to take two pills a day. They are 500 mg. I'm experiencing fatigue, dizziness, stomach pressure, and headaches. The headaches and fatigue I'm experiencing are enough to make me just sit all day. When I try to move around to do anything like dishes or grocery shopping, I get really dizzy. My stomach hurts too (just mild pain), but I'm not sure if that is from the medication or the infection I'm treating. It feels like I'm mildly incapacitated, and I still have to take this for five more days. I'm not confident this medication will work because I've taken this before for another condition, and the condition came back within a week. I'm following doctors' orders though. Maybe this miserable medication will work on the giardia."
