For Helicobacter Pylori Infection "Started taking this for the H. pylori infection and I dread it. My doctors have me on it three times a day for two weeks, I am currently on day 8 and the side effects of the drug have not lessened or gotten better. Nausea, vomiting, gas, diarrhea, terrible headaches, and feeling like I’m a ghost overshadowing my body have all been side effects. It hits me the worst in the morning and at night because that is when my stomach is empty. I have found that food helps during the day, but not full and complete meals. I definitely do not recommend this drug to anyone and I am sorry if you, the reader, are taking it with hopes that it won’t make you sick because chances are, it probably will. But please do not let this deter you, it hurts but it will make you feel better in the end. Important note: the drug can make you have EXTREMELY dark and brassy colored pee."

For Bacterial Infection "The taste of this medicine is so bitter. I have to chew gum after. I had really bad stomach pains, then diarrhea all night long."

For Bacterial Infection "Was put on this for 7 days, 2x a day, 500 mg. For BV. I'm on day 6, and I'm miserable. Considering not doing day 7, but we will see. Will try my best. It wasn't until day 2/3 that I started having noticeable side effects. I thought I was just being emotional. They got worse as the days went on. Super tired. Major brain fog. Symptoms of depression (and considering I've been both depressed and suicidal in the past, this is not ideal). Very unmotivated. Nauseous. Warm, tingly feeling. Diarrhea, but no stomach pain. Overall sick feeling. Just don't feel like myself. I also am thinking this is ironically affecting my vaginal discharge more than ever."
