For Herpes Simplex, Suppression "I live a completely normal life. I found out after I met my soon-to-be wife ten years ago. We got married after and had children. She worked doing research on STDs and she recommended lysine for me to take. I take 500mg a day and I increase the dose if a feeling of tingling starts. I encourage more people to share to help eliminate stigmatism associated with HSV. I think too much alcohol is my trigger. I honestly think that the drug companies don't want a cure for this disease as well as others. So those that are stressed because of this should move forward and shift their focus on being positive and proactive against this virus. Please help others!"

For Herpes Simplex, Suppression "This stuff is amazing. I don’t take it permanently as I don’t want to become dependent on it, but as soon as I feel symptoms starting, like pains down the back of my legs and tingling, I start taking 1000 mg a day for a few days until symptoms have gone, and I haven’t had one breakout since I started taking it. Just the initial symptoms, then lysine makes it go away within a couple of days. The real test was a few months back, I had sharp pains down the back of my legs and I knew it was going to be a bad breakout, so I started taking it immediately and it just went away after a couple of days and never broke out-miracle. I wish I had discovered it sooner."

For Herpes Simplex, Suppression "There is no cure for HSV2, but you can suppress it with lysine. You have to take it every day, and it just becomes part of your daily routine, like brushing your teeth or taking a shower. I was diagnosed with HSV2 in 2012 and had outbreaks every single month for the first year. After that, it was about every other month. It was a painful and humiliating experience for years. After introducing lysine, along with OLE, into my daily routine, I haven't had an outbreak since September 2015. If I feel like an outbreak may occur, I just up the dosage until that familiar tingling sensation goes away. I know lysine doesn't work for everyone, but I stand by it 100% for my HSV2 suppression."

For Herpes Simplex (HSV) "I have HSV1 on genitals from oral sex. I was in denial. I had 3 red spots in labia majora, turned to ulcer state, terrible burn during urination, crazy tingly itchy, and red swollen vulva. Suffered a week. I read about lysine, took 3, 1000 mg per day. After 3 days, marked reduction, almost gone."
