For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "This is my third day on Belviq and I started off at 244 pounds. Today I weighed 242 lbs. I am incorporating exercise today and I bet by next Monday I will be down at least 7 pounds. Belviq does curb your appetite, but you also have to have willpower not to eat just because you see food. Sometimes you don't have to be hungry to want food. My goal is to be down 70 pounds by July! The only side effect that I have experienced so far was headaches, and I just popped an ibuprofen, and they are gone! May God help everyone on Belviq achieve their healthy goal!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Started 2/1. Today is 2/11 and I am down 7 lbs. Headaches the first 48 hours plus some clumsiness. Still hungry but easy to ignore with no cravings. Portion sizes greatly reduced. It's like a door shuts when I've had enough. Absolutely no craving for alcohol. Split a beer with my husband at dinner and couldn't finish it! I can't believe in 10 days I've become that person who grabs an apple on my way out instead of a bag of chips. And I can't finish the apple either!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am a 22-year-old female, started out weighing 281. I am only 5'5". I have played soccer my whole life, and exercise just wasn't doing anything for me. I have been on Belviq for 5 days now and already down 5 lbs. The first 2 to 3 days, I didn't notice much difference, but on day 4 and 5, my appetite is gone. I am hardly ever hungry and have to remind myself to eat. This medicine is great. I would recommend it to anybody. The side effects lasted the first couple of days: headache (solved by over-the-counter ibuprofen) and constipation, but all have already subsided. I will keep you posted with my results."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Today marks 1 month on Belviq and freedom from 24 pounds of fat! I am 5 feet 5 inches tall, 50-year-old female and started at 220 lbs. The first 24 pounds came off in the first 3 weeks. The weight loss seems to have slowed down this past week but I'm OK with that as I figured I could not continue to lose at that rapid pace. As for side effects, I did have a slight headache for the first two days but nothing Tylenol didn't handle quickly. The other issue I'm having is a very annoying cough. I read where that is a side effect for people with diabetes, which I do NOT have. I am assuming the cough is from the pills, but it is possible that I have a cold or allergy."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "It has been approximately 3 months and I am down 12 lbs. The side effects are minor and well worth the loss of weight. Although the weight loss has been slow, I never felt deprived of food once. I plan to stay on it for a year as I have another 40 lbs to go. This pill definitely decreases my appetite. I have experienced a few headaches and yes, the coughing, but compared to having a heart attack from being overweight, I am fine with that. If you are overweight, I think you should give this medication a try for at least a month or two. Also, never felt jittery at all on this. The biggest downside is the cost. I think that is part of the plan - it costs so much that you can't afford food after paying for it. They offer a $75 off coupon."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I can say without reservation that this works. Starting weight 246 lbs, 5'9, and end weight 202 lbs so far in five months. It takes time, and I work out as best I can, but my goal will be accomplished in one year. I find my appetite is easily managed, as far as sweets, salty snacks, etc. My appetite is fine as things taste good, but no binges. I had a headache and now drink probably what I should have been doing all along. I consider this Belviq a nice aid to helping me with weight loss success."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "For weight loss. I started in July 2015 weighing in at 250 lbs. As of today 10/13/15, I am 210 lbs. Started off slow, then the lbs started falling off. I went from a 40-inch waist to a 34 in that time frame. My goal is 185. I have better nights of sleep, no more snoring. When I first started, I had a slight headache, but nothing after that."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been on Belviq for about a month now. I can't take anything with a stimulant in it, so Belviq was really the only option for me. I lost 5 pounds in the first week and then nothing the next. I was starting to get discouraged and then it started to work. I have fewer cravings and feel full sooner. I've lost about 13 pounds and can see the difference in my legs and abdomen. Primary side effects for me (some of which might have been caused by an increase in Metformin at the same time) were a slight headache in the first week (went away), mild diarrhea in the first week (also went away), dry mouth/eyes (already had an issue but got worse), and very tired in the evenings (falling asleep at 9:30 instead of 11:30) and in the mornings (but ok during the day)."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Belviq a week ago. I have lost 7 pounds. Unlike my past dieting experiences, my stomach is not counting the minutes, hours until my next meal. This is an amazing treatment. It makes me feel full and also provides willpower. I have never lost the desire to eat more before. I think this must be how normal eaters feel. It is wonderful. I had minor side effects: slight headache on and off for 2 days and some slight spaced-out feeling for 2 days. My sister also started on the same day. She is having the same positive results. We were talking tonight and realized neither one of us had experienced our usual hot flashes since we started Belviq. We don't know why but not having them is great!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Belviq a week ago. I asked my doctor about it, and she gave me a 15-day trial. I've lost 3.5 lbs in a week. My starting weight was 179.5, and today I'm 176. It definitely helps to curb my appetite. I'm eating three healthy meals a day, and I don't feel the need to snack in between, which is a big difference for me. I always used to snack. I've decided to cut back on my carbs and increase my protein intake. This week, I've exercised three times for 30 minutes each time. The only side effect I've had is a slight headache at times, but it hasn't been bad, definitely worth it. After next week, if I see additional results, I will ask my doctor for a prescription. My goal is to get to 145 lbs."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking Belviq on the 2nd of October 2014 weighing in at 216 at 5'5. After taking Belviq the 1st day, I had a slight headache. After that, I was just able to sleep better. Today, I currently weigh 209!! In 5 days, I have lost 7 lbs, so I am assuming I'm a responder. I didn't have to pay out of pocket yet since I had the free trial, they accidentally gave me 1 free month. So, I'll update you after one month. I'm excited!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "My doctor told me to try this medication over some of the over-the-counter stuff I was already taking. I spent about the same money and got an FDA-approved medication that works well for me. I did have a slight headache when first starting, but in 2 weeks, I lost 9 lbs! I feel like I could exercise more. I encourage you to try it!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I took one tablet in the morning and I was fine until the afternoon. In the afternoon, I had a debilitating headache and could not function. The pain spread to the back of my neck. I could hardly move. Then, to top it all off, I started feeling nauseous. I lay down on the couch and stayed still, but I still threw up."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "55 years young, weighed 245 lbs at 6 feet. After seven months, 56 pounds down and counting. Cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar all improved. Now I need to get the cobwebs off the bike and do some exercise. No more cravings for pizza, queue, or sweets. Beer consumption down and minor headache when I started Belviq. Highly recommend."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Belviq on 10/8/15 on the night pill. I take two pills daily. My starting weight was 208.8 lbs, today, 10/14/15, I weigh in at 199.4. This medication is awesome. I have not changed my diet, I always ate pretty healthy. I have not started exercising yet. I am pretty active, I work a part-time retail job. When I'm working on the floor, I'm running around, but when I'm working in the office, I'm sitting. I own a photography business and go to school full-time. My side effects started out with dry mouth and a slight headache. I watch my blood pressure because it drops a little, and when I take my BP pills, my BP average is 106/68. I have tried everything, and this pill does what I need it to. I have noticed some increase in energy. Love it so far!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking this because my doctor insisted on me trying something after many failed programs. After reading most of your reviews, I gave it a try. On the 1st day, I felt weird as hell, had a tingling feeling on my left hand, and a headache from hell. However, after my 2nd day, it's like I don't feel a thing, maybe only a headache, but ibuprofen took care of that. I would tell anyone scared to try it to give it at least two days. I believe you'll love it. I'm starting out at 266 pounds."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am 7 days into taking Belviq 2x a day. Here's what I have observed: First couple of days: 1. Pain in feet/joints 2. Tired and slightly slurred words 3. Within 1 day, I immediately felt less bloated and 'thinner' 4. Dull headache. After 3 days: 1. Lost 3 lbs 2. Pain gone - more energy 3. Dry mouth starting/manageable and only seems to happen 1x a day. It's sort of a nice reminder to drink more water. :-) 4. While the scale says only 3 lbs lost, I physically feel like it's much more. A few people asked me if I lost weight, so that tells me it's noticeable, and 3 lbs up/down isn't normally a noticeable difference. 5. Headache gone! After 3 days, I completely noticed that I have to remind myself to eat. Cravings for carbs and sweets are so much less."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "As of May 2015, I gave myself one year to lose the weight. I got up to 212 (I'm 5'8), so I carried it pretty well, but I was not happy with the way I felt, I was always tired, and my clothes were not fitting. I was comfortable when I was 175-180. So after a whole year and nothing on the scale changed, I went to my doctor and had blood work done, hoping to find a reason why. The blood work came back all good and clear. No one likes bad news, but at the moment I was hoping to be given a reason I wasn't losing... What was I doing so wrong? He told me to try Belviq 2x a day. So here I am, starting 18 days ago, and I'm down to 200. I had a slight headache for the first 3 days, and now I'm normal. I don't have the feeling to snack or overeat. I walk 2 miles, 3x a week too. Good luck!!!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started one week ago taking 2 per day as prescribed but forgot 2 days to take the second dose at work, so for the last 4 days, I have only been taking 10 mg in the morning. I am not hungry at all. I am eating mostly a Paleo diet, doing some cardio exercise, and I have lost 6.9 pounds in the last week. I am very impressed! I experienced a slight headache, dizziness, and a 'high' feeling during the first few days, but those have gone away."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Belviq for about six months with only a brief mild headache as the only side effect. I was diabetic, but my blood glucose has me off metformin as my sugar is very stable. Losing an average of seven pounds per month, I exercise sometimes. The best part is a better sleep pattern, no cravings, and now my old high school weight is in sight. Not bad for a post-menopause, hormone replacement, 52-year-old lady. I feel very content and calm, overall, life is now what it should be."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been on Belviq for a week and noticed the difference already. I can fit a pair of jeans that I had difficulty buttoning 2 weeks ago. I eat 2 to 3 times a day and in small portions. I'm not hungry most of the time. I have experienced some of the minor side effects: headaches, constipation, and dry mouth. The plus on that is I'm drinking a lot more water and completely staying away from juices and soda."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Belviq 3.5 weeks ago. I tried sorting through reviews just like you are to see if the $85 a month after coupon was worth it. I found it difficult because too many reviewers left out their gender, weight, and height, so I just decided to try it. With that being said, I'm a 5'1" female with a desk job weighing 163 to start. I now weigh 157. This medication suppresses my appetite slightly, but it suppresses my cravings a lot, and I don't give in like before. The first day I thought I wasted $85 because the headache was awful. It subsided the next day. I do feel sleepier at night, so I haven't worked out at all, I'm going to purchase another month and add exercise. I'm also on a 1200-calorie diet that I track on MyFitnessPal."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking Belviq now for 9 days. I started off at 235, now I am at 228. I get headaches every now and then, I am really thirsty, and my back hurt yesterday for about an hour. I sleep all night, but it feels more like I am blacked out, or maybe just sleeping harder than usual. I am focused more and have more energy to get things done. So far, so good, let's see how it works next week."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on this medicine for five weeks, including the first two-week trial. I didn't start counting calories until week three. I wanted to give the trial two weeks to watch for side effects. Except for a headache the first three days, I experienced no side effects except for a great night's sleep. Belviq has halted the binge process completely. I only eat when I am hungry and have no sweet cravings after a meal like I used to have. As a bonus, I have stopped my 'picking' habit. Best medicine ever! Oh, one con: insurance (Cigna) does not cover it."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm almost to the end of the 15-day free trial of Belviq. I had headaches and dry mouth. Wasn't seeing any weight loss. I actually gained 4 pounds, and I was eating a very healthy, low-cal diet. I wasn't hungry and lost all cravings, which made the new food plan so easy. Then I started having an urge to urinate frequently that was painful and bothersome. It is a side effect. I called my doctor, and I came in to give a sample. Totally normal. It was the pills. I hadn't taken any pills that day, but I drank about a gallon of water. I started to feel better. It was the water. I'm back on the pills, drink a gallon of water a day, and I've lost 8 pounds. I'm happy with that. No side effects at this time. New prescription ordered."
