For Weight Loss "Today is my 10th day on belviq. For a few days I felt a dizzy and felt overly cheerful and chatty. When I didn't feel any symptoms anymore I figured it wasn't working. I felt that way because I didn't feel jittery or high like some other diet pills would make a person feel. But in 10 days on belviq I'm down 12 pounds. I eat what I want for dinner (but a much smaller portion) and am careful about eating only healthy foods for breakfast, lunch & snacks. A week into starting the pills that the only effect it's having on me is suppressing my appetite, which I think is great! Ii sometimes have to force myself to eat because don't feel hungry. This pill doesn't keep me up at night. I honestly sleep better now than I did before the pills. I'm happy with my results so far will starting the gym soon. I'm very happy with this medication."

For Weight Loss "I bought Belviq while in Mexico. I lost 40 lbs without consciously changing my diet. I wasn't aware of any side effects all. The only change I noticed was that I'd lose interest in my meal about half way through. I highly recommend it and I feel bad for the people who can't take it or for whom it is ineffective. BTW I don't think you can get this Mexico anymore :("

For Weight Loss "Lost 25 pounds in two months . Every thing went fine until I broke out in a severe rash that took me over a year to rid myself of it."

For Weight Loss "I've on the medicine for over a month, I haven't lost any weight at all. Any drug that just "curbs" your appetite in my opinion is a waste of time. People usually don't eat because they're hungry, they eat because they like the taste of what they're eating and they eat out of habit."

For Weight Loss "I just begin taking Belviq today. My ONLY side effect is feeling in a euphoria, high or extra good mood. Should I be concerned? This feeling has helped my mind refrain from emotional eating (in my opinion) because I feel so good my thoughts are not on food but happy things. Should I stop taking it?"

For Weight Loss "I am 5'7 and I weigh 225 pounds. I have high blood pressure and diabetes. I am a emotional eater and the pass few years have been the worse years of my entire life. So since I have been depressed I eat. I have tried contrave in the past and it gave me the worse migraines ever. After some therapy and some antidepressants my Dr. decided to put me on Belviq. I only been on it for 4 days now. I have no bad side effects only that it makes me feel sooooo sleepy all the time I have no energy at all, and it does not curb my appetite as I'm still hungry all the time. I will not quit though I will give it 2 weeks and see what happens. I will update then. I have not loss 1 pound I probably gained weight."

For Weight Loss "Lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks. However, the side effects are too much to go through. They were intense for me. I only took Belviq. I would feel so high and out of it at work. My eyelids were so heavy one day, I felt like I was slowly dying on this medication. I would continue to do my hour long cardio workouts that usually get me huffing and puffing, but on Belviq, I do not lose my breath, it is like my heart stands still. At night, I would wake up 2 times thinking it was time to get up. At work, I am super busy and work with the public and am on my feet and active all day, but for the past two weeks my performance has suffered because I get so tired at work all I want to do is go home and lay down. My shoulders hurt on these meds. Why? My emotions are also upside down on these meds, and I have no patience with my family or clients. This stuff is intense. My Dr. Is just going to put me back on Phentermine today. That stuff is nothing compared to this as far as side effects."

For Weight Loss "I am a 30 year old female. I started taking BELVIQ on 11/12/18 I was 220 pounds. I weighed myself this morning and I weigh 216. I would say with a pound a day so far it is working pretty well. I work sitting at a desk for 10 hours a day so not much exercise in my life. I also have only taken a total of 5 pills instead of the eight I should have taken so far. I will update next week."

For Weight Loss "This drug was horrible. My heart was beating so fast I thought I was going to die. Unreal anxiety. Could not sleep. Thought ok maybe. I’ll take a second. No good. Crazy anxiety. Threw the bottle out. What a waste of 300 bucks."

For Weight Loss "I started Belviq the Extended Release capsules on Oct. 26th, 2018. It's only been 5 days so I am trying to keep optimistic about the med. I previously in 2017 was prescribed Qsymia and I could feel the effects within moments of taking it. With Belviq, I don't feel any of the appetite suppression I had with Qysmia. I have no side effects with Belviq. Again, I will update after a month. But I am hoping for positive results."

For Weight Loss "I started Belviq XR on Oct. 5 2018 at 214lbs Today is Oct 17 2018 and I am weighed in at 208lbs. As far as side effects, I have experience some dizziness first thing in the morning. Slight headaches every now and then but nothing major that I can't tolerate. I've only experienced nausea twice. Now that I am passed the two week mark. The side effects are becoming unnoticeable. My appetite has decrease dramatically. I also notice that the medicine wares off between 10pm and 11pm which is when I should be sleep but I'm some what of a night owl. Over I would as of now I am happy with Belviq RX and will continue it and hope for great results. I will be back at my 1 month with another update!"

For Weight Loss "I’m using belviq to lose weight , I’m 75 lbs over weight , I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyroid issues , no matter what I do I can’t seem to lose weight . My endocrinologists recommended that I use Belviq, I am very disappointed haven’t lost an ounce with that been on it for about a month. I am an active 51-year-old female so there should be no reason why I can’t seem to lose weight I was hoping that this would be the boost to get my weight under control very disappointed"

For Obesity "I recently started Belviq 10 mg twice a day October 1, 2018. So far I’ve lost 3 pounds. The first 3-5 days I had the most horrible headache. I had to take 800 mg of ibuprofen just to counteract the side affect daily. After the first week no headache and no ibuprofen. The pill does not curb my appetite, I think I mainly lost the 3 pounds because of my 4 days a week exercise."

For Weight Loss "I took this in Dec 17-Feb 2018. I wasn't even "dieting" and lost 14 lbs. I had mild side effects starting the medication, headache, dry mouth, loose stools, but after a couple days it was gone and for the first time ever, I would get a feeling. When eating, that I'd had enough. I love carbs and sweets and this reduced my cravings for them. I had a family emergency in March. Did not refill and due to stress eating I gained the weight back plus 15 lbs. I credit Belviq with helping me lose that weight, without using Belviq. Belviq helped me look for subtle clues of satiety rather than just eating until I was full. I am 5'5" and at the start of the year went from 280 to 266."

For Weight Loss "I'm a 57 year old female and I've struggle with weight loss for many years, I hopped on the scale almost a month ago and was weighing 201.5 the most I've ever weighed in my entire life super tired all the time knees hurting just knew I had to lose weight. I had tried many diets lose a little bit gain a whole lot back the yo-yo thing. So I asked my doctor to prescribe me something so I can lose weight I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol so she prescribed me Belviq 10 mg one pill twice a day. I haven't even been on it a full month and have already lost 12 lb and my appetite has dropped drastically there was a few little side effects the first few days dizzines, light headache and the first couple of days I was nauseous but nothing I couldn't deal with so all in all I give Belviq 8 stars."

For Weight Loss "Following up on a previous entry. (FYI reviews get posted days after submission). I have been taking Belviq for one month and I have lost 12 pounds! I'm 5/7 and I started at 182 and I now weigh 170. My goal is 145. I am SO HAPPY I looked past the negative reviews and decided to try it. I literally have hardly any appetite and when I do eat (I eat twice a day) the portions I need to satisfy me are less than half of before. It enhances my mood in a good way. I realize this affects everyone differently and not everyone has my story - but I cannot be the only one this FDA approved weightloss drug has worked for. My insurance didn't cover it, but the manufacturer gives a coupon so it goes from $330 to $82."

For Weight Loss "I needed to loose some weight and the Dr. thought we should give this a try. I'm very sensitive to side effects in many drug classes and so was very careful about dosing, starting with the non extended release and one a day, after a week went to two a day. I had no noticeable side effects. This is rare for me as many drugs give me side effects. This was good, however after 2+ full weeks I had lost only 3 lbs, which is nothing, in fact I would say that the drug did nothing for me as far a weight loss."

For Weight Loss "I am 5ft5 & 158. I fight hypothyroidism & Hashimotos & have also gone thru 5 yrs of fertility medicines. My usual weight is 138. My doctor & I didn’t care to get me down to that weight - we were hoping for high 140s, something a bit safer due to being pre-diabetic & high cholesterol. With menopause knocking on my door, weight loss is near impossible (I even work w/a trainer 3x/week!). Anyway, this medicine was BRUTAL for me. I had the same experience as someone above: slept like a rock (I usually wake up at 6am, but couldn’t get up until 8:30am), started craving & eating JUNK that I’d never eat before, chills, fatigue, some nausea & my breasts weren’t swollen but they were incredibly sore to the point where i couldnt sleep on my belly. I was SO ineffective & lazy (which isn't me), I stopped the med because I had also GAINED 4 pounds in 1.5 weeks. (I only took it for 9 days!). The withdrawal after only 9 days has me w/horrific vertigo. Ugh. AWFUL. So glad I’m off it."

For Weight Loss "I have been taking the once a day, slow release version of Belviq for 22 days. As of now, I am not aware of any unwanted side effects and I have lost 10 pounds. I am 63 and for the past 25 years I have had a terrible time trying to manage my weight. I have gone from 165 to 288 primarily because I never "feel" full. And, even after eating more than enough, I am almost always ready for for more before anyone else. Since almost the first day on Belviq, I have begun to feel full after a reasonable meal AND I keep that feeling until at least the time to eat again. So far, Belviq is a miracle drug in my book."

For Weight Loss "I'm so disappointed ! I was on Phentermine for years and my body became so immune to it and I begged my Dr to finally prescribed me Belviq and I have been through nothing but awfulness to get it paid for. I went on line and supposedly the drug company would pay 80% and I would pay 20. Not a chance. If you make more than $18,000 dollars a year they won't help!!!! Well what ? If you only make 18,000 a year, you better not be fat and eating all the time !!!!! Sooooo then I tried to get the "special discount card from the company and it brought my 30 day supply down to $277.80 what?"

For Weight Loss "I am a 5'2" 38 year old woman. I've been on Belviq 1 month. I am 175 lbs. I haven't lost any weight on Belviq. I had a slight headache for the first two days. Deep sleep and fatigue for 2 weeks and then insomnia. Weird. I haven't noticed a change in appetite. If anything, I want to eat more. I refilled the prescription and will try taking both pills at once. I hope that makes a difference."

For Weight Loss "I have a high BMI with hypertension and dyslipidemia. Spoke to my doctor about taking this to bring down my weight. Second day taking 10 mg twice a day. Slight headache, absolutely no appetite. My insurance (Aetna) does not cover it, but the savings card dropped the price from $315 to $82."
