For Weight Loss "Starting taking Belviq 10mg a week ago. Number 1. None of the coupons I printed out didn't give me any cost reduction and my health insurance would not pay any cost, so I'm out of pocket, $280.00. Number 2 I'm 70 yrs young, weighed 196lbs at 5'4", obese. Number 3. Had terrible side effects past week, headache, fever, body aches and pain especially in feet and hands, have developed a nagging cough, dizziness. It's been one week today, my feet are killing me and I feel a bit feverish. Now I can at least get out of the house. Number 4. I weigh 192 lbs today. Number 5. So I will continue this journey one more week, if it continues with the side effects, I'll have to quit. Also I'm very active I take an accounting class twice a week, weights twice a wk, walk 5 miles twice a week, swim once week"

For Weight Loss "I've been on Belviq for five months now. I'm down 30 pounds and I still have about 30 to go. I'm very pleased with my results. I use a meal tracker app and stay between 1000-1200 calories a day which can be difficult. I'm going to increase to 1300-1400 the next couple of months (which may slow my weight loss down a bit but I'm okay with that) because it's comfort food season! I still love to eat and I think I've been successful because I can still have delicious food but with the medicine I'm satisfied with very small portions."

For Weight Loss "I've been taking Belviq for over a year and have lost over 80lbs. I'm no longer taking my antidepressants either because I call it my little happy pill! However they keep raising the price and I can no longer afford it. I'm sick of drug companies and they games they play with people's lives!"

For Weight Loss "Have been taking Belviq for two and a half months have lost 10 lbs. First two days had a headache and felt weird, but then it went away and I have noticed I sleep like a rock (albeit I do have weird dreams). I also have a lot LESS anxiety, so I am unsure what that is about? I don't have any other side effects except that I am MUCH less hungry, don't really think about food like I use to. It has been so much easier to stay on track and just eating like a normal human. I feel GREAT and am very grateful to this drug."

For Weight Loss "I first was prescribed 10 mg of Belviq and was happy because none of the other pills I went on worked. I took my first pill in the morning and it did not affect my appetite nor did I have any side effects. After one week with no changes I started on 2 pills twice a day. Unfortunately for me I still did not have a curbed appetite and no side effects. I am wondering if anyone else took these same pills with no affects at all?"

For Weight Loss "I have been off and on this medication this last time due to losing insurance and couldn't afford it. I got my insurance back and happily my insurance pays for it and only a copay of $10. Yes the first few days I have a headache so I slowly start taking it then once I'm used to it I started them twice a day. I love this medicine. It curbs my appetite and the one month I have been using lost 5 lbs. I have to make myself eat sometimes. I have knee problems and this has helped me to lose the weight since I can no longer work out like I used to."

For Obesity "I began this medication a few days ago and it's been a Godsend, thus far. My main problem in the past has been nocturnal eating. I'd wake up, barrel down to the kitchen and -- whilst half asleep -- devour PB&J, pasta, whatever-the-heck was in the fridge. That's gone. As a result, I've been sleeping through the night. I don't often feel hungry and when I do I control my portions with ease. No nausea or headaches - yet. I felt a bit "strange" my first day on it, but that may have been a result of not feeling hungry 100% of the time. I was also slightly lightheaded my second day; may have been a result of reduced caloric intake. I've yo-yoed a lot and finally feel that the monkey is slipping off my back. RECOMMENDED."

For Weight Loss "I have lost 127 pounds over the last 3 years. I used Belviq as one part of my process. It definitely helped reduce my hunger and I didn't experience the side effects some people describe. But it only worked for me if I stayed with my plan - Weight Watchers for keeping track of weight loss, weighing my self every day, exercising - about 45 minutes every day. What I have learned is that there is no "dieting". It is a life long process of accepting that I cannot live like I had been and finding great ways to enjoy food and movement - not a life long deprivation, a lifelong change for the better. I wiill continue to take Belviq, I gave it 8 out of 10 because it is $89 a month and that is a significant amount for me."

For Weight Loss "I started my journey on 7/29/2017. Unfortunately I am very limited to my exercise routine due to a car accident. I changed the way I eat and I try to eat healthier and smaller portions. I so far am down 6 lbs. I am hoping I keep losing. With the discount card it's free no copay for me."

For Obesity "I am a 56 y/o female who had gained approx 100 lbs in the last 10 yrs. . I was on phentermine which helped me lose 40 lbs. but then it stopped. I couldn't get under 208 lbs. I did my due research on Belviq and got a prescription. I had to jump through some hoops to get it approved but it has been well worth it. I've been taking it one week now and my appetite has decreased. The first few days I learned that I was still overeating even though I wasn't hungry- I am having to retrain my thought process that just because it tastes good doesn't mean I need to keep eating if I'm not hungry. As with any diet pill you still need to modify how you look at food- need vs want. Belviq is definitely the beginning of a beautiful journey!"

For Obesity "I began taking Belviq 10 mg twice a day May 25, 2017. I have noticed that I am making better choices about the foods I eat, while not reaching for the sugary snacks after 7:00pm. As of today, August 8, 2017 I am down the required 5% that my insurance company requires to continue the medicine. I haven't found any noticeable side effects, mainly because even before I took this I was constantly fatigued due to life situation/stress. I went into this seeing people commenting about "Oh, I lost 20# my first month" but for me, that's not the case. I need the bump the medicine gives me to slowly lose the weight. No reason to rush it and I think because of that attitude, I'm more pleased with my results. Looking forward to next 12 weeks!"

For Weight Loss "I started Belviq on May 10th. I have lost 20 lbs since, today being 8/5. I wanted something to aid in my weight loss being 200 lbs, 5'2", 52 yrs old. I asked about Contrave but my doc suggested Belviq because of patient success. I had nausea and a headache for 3 days but that went away. I also had a nagging cough for a couple months but that went away, also. The only other notable symptoms are occasional sluggishness and brain fog. I take two 10 mg pills a day. I know when the first one's wearing off because I do get hungry. It does curb my appetite really well and I have to force myself to eat. I have the most success when I work out, too and cut down on sugar and food intake which Belviq aids in. I love it!"

For Weight Loss "I've been taking 10mg of Belviq 2x a day for 4 weeks. The first few days I had headaches. They went away and then the next I had a ringing in my ears and loss of balance (can't say that is a side effect or a coincidence). They went away as well. I have had no side effects since then other than fatigue and weight loss!! Belviq has made it easier for me to cut calories and not feel hungry. It has also made it easier for me to ignore people eating around me. I don't crave anything anymore. When I started on July 10th I weighed 186 lbs and now on August 5th I weigh 172. 14 lbs and counting. Also my insurance wouldn't cover it but I got the manufacturers coupon (which was real easy) and I use that and only pay $83.00. I say stick with it!"

For Obesity "I started taking belviq twice a day faithfully , first week no change in appetite ,cravings or weight. Second week I felt like I gained weight still no change in appetite ,GAINED 3 LBS. So upset after spending $88.00,I abruptly stopped and made Dr. Aware. She never said to wean off. Within 2 days major withdraw, Had abdominal cramping, nausea and vomiting all night until I took another pill. Then decided for the next 4 days to slowly wean off which I did. This is a strong as medication. Don't stop abruptly! Didn't work for me."

Even thought I was over weight I have still been walking but still put on 10lbs of what I had lost on other drug. I craved food it was horrible so now what for me find New doctor that will work with me and give me something that will help. For Obesity "I started Bleviqs last night. I was told to take one 20mg pill before bed. Reason is because my dr said one of the side effects is being tired. Well I barely slept 6 hrs. Had opposite effects. However, I felt slightly dizzy, achey (even my hands hurt) and cold like symptoms. I don't know if the sneezing and coughing are a coincidence or a side effect. I have read it is, but I only had the one pill. We went to dinner tonight. After I ate, I got sick to my stomach and needed to lay down. I'm having the hardest time losing weight. I have been on a lot of different supplements. I'm not sure this is worth it."

For Obesity "For the person talking about the cost. My Doctor gave me a coupon (more like an insurance card). I registered it while sitting at the pharmacy and a few hours later I was in the data base. It went from somewhere around $320.00 to $80.00. It seemed to offer reduced costs for insured or uninsured people."

For Obesity "I just started the drug three days ago. I did have headaches although it may have been from sugar withdrawal fatigue was a issue. I am still hungry but I watch what I eat. The drug allows a fullness much quicker. I have had a gasto by pass 20 years ago. I feel it's helpful. I will write my progress"

For Obesity "I am on day 4 of taking belviq. I am currently only taking one pill a day because I forget to take the other pill. I am down 6.4 pounds with minimal side effects. I am very pleased with the results so far and excited to see the future results. My only problem is the cost of the pills. My insurance did not cover the medication but I did use the discount card from the manufacturer. I paid out of pocket about $90.00"
