For Prostatitis "I prescribe 750 mg of Levofloxacin for acute prostatitis. I took the medicine for 2 and a half days. My tendons in my knees, ankles, heels, and the bottoms of my feet started to ache. I began to have bad neck pain and headaches. I was falling asleep at work at the same time every day. My tongue had sore red bumps on it and turned white. It has been 11 days since I stopped taking it and am still having the same pain. I am currently taking magnesium to help with the pain. I see some help from magnesium. Do not take this medicine."

For Bronchitis "The tendon side effects of levofloxacin are true. Last night, 2 weeks after ending the script, I experienced excruciating pain in my left foot. Three times about an hour apart each time. The side effects can last up to a year (maybe more - who really knows?). I also experienced being VERY hot, especially while sleeping. I took 1 tablet in the morning for I believe 7 days. I am still coughing and wheezing. I am still on an inhaler and have been through a prednisone routine. Waiting on the doctor to re-evaluate my situation. Ughhh."
