Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "Just wanted to share my experience because these reviews have helped me so much. I'm on day 13, and my skin is clearing so well. The first few days (until day 10-11) were terrible!! I mean awful! Bumps everywhere, and redness and itching. I was also using Finacea gel during the day, and I believe that was making my skin worse. I stopped using that during the day and started using sodium sulfacetamide (Klaron), and my skin has made a turn for the better. I had some redness (butterfly rash) and tons of papules. They seem to be clearing up, and my skin is crazy soft. I'm using Neutrogena ultra-gentle wash in the morning and night, Paula's Choice 2 percent clear exfoliant everywhere except my cheeks day and night, the Klaron topical antibiotic in the day, then Vani Cream Lite in the day, and then Soolantra in the evening, no cream on top of it. Please try this routine if you are struggling!! I will update when it's been a month (:"

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I was prescribed Soolantra after having mild-moderate pustules, which turned out to be rosacea. This review is to tell anyone who has started to keep going…it works!!! But it gets so much worse before it gets better. During week 1, I didn’t see much of a difference in my skin at all. By day 10-14, my bumps and skin texture were 1000 times worse than it was before Soolantra. I cried nearly every day but kept reading reviews and powered through. By day 15, they basically disappeared overnight, and my skin is looking amazing. They are nearly completely gone! Please, please, please keep going. It is true that it gets a lot worse before it gets better, but so worth it."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "This cream has changed my life. I have suffered dry, bumpy, sandy skin with my rosacea for many years, it became so bad I was reluctant to leave the house. It is a slow-working treatment that may take many weeks to see a difference, often becoming worse during that time, which I experienced. It took around 6 weeks for me. One day I woke up and felt my face, it was as smooth as silk, it was like magic. The redness was so much better. A tube lasted for a couple of months at the cost of $60. I applied it nightly to a clean face and left it at least 30 minutes before applying my night cream. So if you persist, it can work."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I have been using Soolantra for my perioral dermatitis for 4 days now, and so far, so good. Immediately after night 1, my skin was less red and bumps lessened. However, I know that it gets worse in weeks 1-3 before it gets better, and I could already see by day 3 I had a few more papules than usual! I am going to stick with it for the recommended three months, and I will keep everybody updated over time! Also, I can't believe how expensive it is for you Americans, that's awful and so unfair! In England, it only costs £9!"

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "Entire face covered in red patches and breakouts, several lumps under the skin, especially along the jawline. It was terrible. Started Soolantra, and it was worse for about a week and a half. Nearly quit. But then... my skin started to clear a little. I kept going, and slowly it worked better and better. 5 months after starting, only the visible veins on my nose are there, no breakouts, no lumps or pustules. Skin has healed so well. Watch your diet too. Less wheat is important, amazing product. It changed my life. I’ve used it for 7 months."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I've been using Soolantra for a few years with great success in lowering the inflammation in my face, decreased redness, and blushing. The first few days I used the Ivermectin cream, I noticed the skin barrier on my flaking cheeks started to heal, and my skin appeared much less inflamed with continued use. I'm a BIG blusher but was starting to get a few tiny red bumps on the bridge of my nose, which went away in the first week of use. Soolantra has given me the freedom to live a normal life again."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "UPDATE: I last wrote 3/14/19, at which point I’d been on Soolantra for mild perioral dermatitis (a form of rosacea) for a month, and my skin was clear - no bumps, no redness, no spots! However, 2 months in, and my skin is breaking out again. I wake up to at least 2 new bumps or big whiteheads every day, and whilst they only last about 2 days, it is still very annoying and makes me self-conscious. However, I know that there are ups and downs in treatment, and I still have a month left, so I will update in due course as to whether this is “normal” or if Soolantra is no longer working for me. Best of luck to others!"

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I woke up with a random small rash patch that spread over two months to both sides of my cheeks. Apparently mild rosacea... bumpy red blotches, enlarged pores, just horrid skin. I’ve been on doxy for a month and azelaic acid 20%, which calmed the redness but wasn’t clearing the bumps. I’ve been using Soolantra for 4 days, and my skin has gotten so bad... lots of bumps which you can see in sunlight, which I never had before... will it get better?! I can’t take much more of it."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I had a terrible experience with this medication. The first two days, my skin looked and felt great. From day three to nine, my face erupted and was covered, literally covered, in bumps and red, raised patches. I even had bumps in my eyebrows and on my neck. I understand that for some, who persisted, they saw favorable results, but please do not assume this is the case for you. I met with my dermatologist today, and he said that none of these awful side effects are shared in the journals or by the Soolantra reps. He said I could try to continue, but that he'd recommend stopping. If your gut says this is not a helpful reaction and that your face is worsening, don't continue. You know your body best! Also, who wants to wait one to three months without a guarantee of things getting better and feeling self-conscious to leave the house."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "It's now been 4 weeks today, and the improvement is visible! Please hang in there, even if it gets worse in the beginning. Less redness, fewer bumps, etc. I only apply sparingly after washing my face with a mild face wash at night before bed. This is a great product, which takes time, but it does work. Good luck! :-)"

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I was diagnosed with rosacea in my early 40s. I am 44 now. At first, I thought it was hormonal because I stopped taking birth control pills. Then I thought it was eczema because my skin was always itchy and dry. I was already on tretinoin and it made it worse. My skin was so red and bumpy around my cheeks and chin. I was a mess. My derm then prescribed Soolantra and a sulfur face wash that is only by prescription, he then told me to continue to use the tretinoin as much as my skin can tolerate. After a week of using the combined regime, my face cleared up. No more bumps and only a very slight redness, but not that bothers me. It's been 3 months and I've never had my skin break out horribly after treatment. I still get occasional bumps but only like one or two, and they tend to disappear the next day. I never want to be without Soolantra or the sulfur wash. I truly think this saved my skin and helped tolerate tretinoin more without drying it."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "Applied Soolantra cream samples to entire face and neck for 3 nights. Developed intense itching, redness, and multiple red bumps and pustules on my cheeks and neck after the 3rd dose. I went from mild redness with no bumps to broken out and itching like crazy. I sure hope this goes away soon! Waiting on a call back from my dermatologist to find out what to do."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I loved it very much in the beginning. Saw improvements within 1 week, which is weird for me after so many failed meds. However, not sure why. About 6 months into it, I'm starting to see more bumps, redness, and itch again. I still wear it daily, but it's been 1 month with symptoms back, and it's not helping anymore. I'm gonna give it a few more weeks to see if I’m not discussing with my doctor. I hope it works again as well as it did for so long. It actually disappeared. My insurance covered it just fine, $60 copay."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I started getting rosacea about 3 years ago. Rosacea was mild, but now it's a lot more intense. I was on antibiotics on and off for 3 years! This was killing my immune system. Went back to my doctor with desperate need to find out why. She gave me 2 trial tubes of Soolantra to try. Within the next two days, it was amazing. Then it went bad for the next two weeks. Bumps all over my face. So hard covering them up with makeup for work. I have been on it now for just over 3 weeks. It does get worse before it gets better, as they all say. But I will hang in there. I have stopped the antibiotics and am currently taking a high dose of probiotic. I pray this works :-)"

For Rosacea "After having a Demodex infestation (awful, itchy, swollen, painful red pus-filled lumps covering 80% of my face), Solaantra has kept my skin 90% clear. It took about 1-3 months to break the cycles, but I rarely ever get a breakout. I do notice that even 7 months into using Solaantra, if I skip using the cream for a night or two, I will have some bumps return. I’m hoping that eventually I can be done with this nightmare. Demodex mites even have their own little horror movie on YouTube."

Ivermectin topical "I had a tiny patch of perioral dermatitis (PD) in November, which soon spread up my cheeks in January. I was given two different types of antibiotics and several antibiotic creams, Itraconazole, antifungals, and the list goes on. Long story short, I'm 5 months in with a new dermatologist who has diagnosed me with a sort of rosacea/perioral dermatitis/folliculitis, basically a sensitivity to yeast in the skin. I'm week 3 of Soolantra and Elidel (at night). Soolantra has given me the WORST skin I've ever had in my lifetime. I'm covered in bumps and whiteheads, and I look dreadful. I keep reading that it's meant to get better at some point, but I look so awful I can't bear to go to work and show my face. I read that people have these side effects on day 5 or so, but for me, it's started 10 days in, and wow, it's spread to places I didn't have any issue with originally. I'm definitely not going to be able to wait until week 7 for sure. It's very depressing, and it's made a terrible mess of my face."

For Rosacea "I started Rosiver (Ivermectin) cream 3 nights ago. First night went well, woke up about the same. I have been using Onreltea in the mornings for redness. I get a few bumps but nothing too major. I have since had what appears to be a breakout, but nothing too much is sticking out, just really red and angry on my cheeks and forehead, with lots of little bumps near the hairline. I hope this is just temporary because I read so many positive reviews that it was better in just days. I am sticking it out because it can only get better, right?! No rating yet, I will come back soon with an update."

For Rosacea "I started using this 2 weeks ago for rosacea pimples on my nose. The bumps disappeared after the first couple of days, but then came back worse than ever a few days later. I continued using the product to give it a chance, but more bumps appeared. I have stopped using it now, and my rosacea has improved. I do not recommend this product."

For Rosacea "I have been using Rosiver (Soolantra) for about a month now. I’m not sure if I should stop. I keep getting flare-ups where I get bad acne and bumps plus redness. There are moments of my skin seeming to calm down, only to flare up again. I’m tempted to stop, but read that people have seen positive results after using for a while."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "Do not put this stuff on your face. After using this for 2 nights, my cheeks are covered in red bumps and are a million times worse than before I started. Derm thinks it's an allergic reaction. Please learn from my mistake and avoid at all costs."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "My experience with Soolantra is similar to Grateful’s. Skin reddening and becoming more sun-sensitive, bumps and pustules got me to the GP, a disastrous prescription of flucloxacillin that multiplied the bumps and pustules a hundredfold and caused me to have 2 weeks off, but fortunately got me to an excellent dermatologist. The dermatologist prescribed washing with Dermol500 and applying Soolantra. I have been using it now since 17 April (today is 23 May) and in that time, it has cleared all lumps, bumps, scales, rash, redness and amazingly (to me) stopped the strange flushing feeling that would creep across my face like an allergic reaction several times a day. I have been almost crying in gratitude with the relief from the pain and itching."
