Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I have used this for 2 weeks, and I am still having terrible outbreaks that are painful and embarrassing. I am 55 and look like a teenager. I am going to keep on keeping on with hopes that it will work like so many have claimed. I’ll keep you posted as time goes by."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I started with symptoms in October of 2018. Went to my family doctor and didn’t diagnose me with rosacea. She gave me a topical antibiotic and an oral prescription for itching. She told me it was inflammation of capillaries. I noticed the antibiotic was not helping. Never thought it could be rosacea. I was finally diagnosed with this, this past Friday by a dermatologist. I am currently on day 6 using Soolantra plus an oral antibiotic. Haven’t seen any change so far. My flare-ups are on my face around my nose area. Breakout is not as bad as the ones I’ve read, but they are itchy and painful. I suffered from acne at a younger age, and it doesn’t seem fair for this to be happening in my late 60s. I’m staying positive and hope this will clear or improve in time with this medication. I will write another review in a month or so. Keeping my fingers crossed."

For Rosacea "Miracle drug! What was once a nightmare on my face is now gone. The first few weeks were painful. Huge cyst-like breakouts when I started. I almost gave up. Now after 6 weeks, one ulcer left, and it’s going away quick. Finally!!! Thank goodness. Stay on track, it’s tough, but it will improve."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "My derm was only able to give me sample sizes since my insurance doesn't cover it. He kept assuring me it would help with my redness and feel good on my skin. Nope. It stings and hurts, and after only two days of using it, it made my redness spread. When before it was just on my cheeks, it has now spread to anywhere I put the ointment... chin, jawline, etc... and it left my skin red and raised and angry with a defined edge/border, looking like a chemical burn or a fungal infection. I'm done with Western medicine. Off to go bankrupt on a holistic dermatologist."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "Suffer from mild rosacea on my cheeks only. Soolantra caused my cheeks to majorly break out and get worse. Estimated 10x as bad. Stayed on 2 weeks as I was reading this website and people commenting on the purging. But it didn’t feel right. Very sore, red, burning like I was sunburnt and 50 spots on each side. Saw my specialist today and she said I’m having an allergic reaction to the cream. So I stopped. My point is only your specialist knows how you were before and if this is working for you. So if you’re going through what I’ve been through: i.e., 2 weeks of increased symptoms, I’d advise you see your specialist rather than hang around on this cream."

For Rosacea "I've been struggling with acne rosacea and eczema for a few years now, and it's been a real struggle trying to find what works for both problems. At times, I have responded to steroids, at others, steroids have been completely useless. This past month, my skin has been as red and bumpy as it has ever been. It's been painful and itchy, with open lesions across my chin. Understandably, this does a real number on my self-esteem and confidence in public, as well as causing significant physical discomfort. Rosiver (ivermectin) is the first cream that I've used that has made a significant difference in under a week. My skin is much less bumpy, the lesions have very nearly healed up (no longer weeping or crusty), and the redness is fading. For the first time this week, I feel like I can leave the house in comfort. I feel like I've found something that will provide a long-term treatment for my rosacea and couldn't be happier. It is very expensive if you don't have a drug plan, though."

Ivermectin topical for Head Lice "I used Sklice last summer after many OTC fails. I was going on vacation and desperate to get rid of the lice, staying with friends and family could not bring lice into their home. It did get rid of the lice, but I have had a very severe reaction, and it is still ongoing after 7 months. I have severe itching, painful cysts, dandruff, and have lost 1/2 of my hair. Had to take painkillers and sleep aids to survive. Am I the only one with this reaction? Does anyone else have a cure for the cure? I have seen several doctors and dermatologists without relief."

For Rosacea "I am 4 weeks in using ivermectin for very mild rosacea that has been annoying me for about ten years, and now my skin is absolutely terrible - so many pustules that my nose is now like one large red blood blister. I am going to go for the whole 12 weeks of treatment but am feeling very nervous (sore and embarrassed) right now. However, I want to contribute to the community and update on my own experience each month, as I have found these reviews encouraging. Good luck to all!"

For Rosacea "This stuff is the worst! I suffered from minor flushing on the tops of my cheeks. Put this on at night, woke up, my face was on fire. I looked like I had a sunburn all across my cheeks and it was so painful. I read the reviews and tried to stick it out for about a week, but I couldn't do it anymore. Luckily, hydrocortisone helped clear the redness, but I would never put that on my face again. I'd rather have it the way it was before."

For Rosacea "After having a Demodex infestation (awful, itchy, swollen, painful red pus-filled lumps covering 80% of my face), Solaantra has kept my skin 90% clear. It took about 1-3 months to break the cycles, but I rarely ever get a breakout. I do notice that even 7 months into using Solaantra, if I skip using the cream for a night or two, I will have some bumps return. I’m hoping that eventually I can be done with this nightmare. Demodex mites even have their own little horror movie on YouTube."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "Very itchy and sore after a week. My GP advised a two-week break. I tried again, and my papules slowly improved over the next few months. I am really pleased, as I hardly have any papules now. (I still have redness on my cheeks, though.) Very pleased, as I had no improvement with Metrogel or Finacea. This is much more effective. My skin is dry, so the richness of the cream helps, too."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I have rosacea type 1 & 2. My face is always dry, thick, and red, but no flakiness. I just finished my 3rd week, no improvement at the moment. My face is very dry and sore, like sandpaper. The next day after applying, it is more dry, really not comfortable. I see here it can take 2 months to see improvement and worse before better. I wish it's demodex reason for my dry skin. I have tried many things, nothing helps, but I stay with it because I know it can be a long treatment."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I'm trying to understand the Soolantra 'experience.' Had a very painful procedure done at my dermatologist's office. Went home with a red face and feeling heat, but not in too much pain. Three days later, hoping to expedite the healing process, I smeared some Soolantra onto my nose (with a name like 'Soolantra,' it sounded as if it would be 'soothing.') Two hours later, my nose was a mass of painful and unsightly blisters. Washed face, used ice, and then, upon Dr.'s recommendation, put a warm water/white vinegar compress on my nose for about 45 seconds. Nose re-erupted in blisters (I'd almost gotten them under control.) Five days later, no relief. Please help!"

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "My experience with Soolantra is similar to Grateful’s. Skin reddening and becoming more sun-sensitive, bumps and pustules got me to the GP, a disastrous prescription of flucloxacillin that multiplied the bumps and pustules a hundredfold and caused me to have 2 weeks off, but fortunately got me to an excellent dermatologist. The dermatologist prescribed washing with Dermol500 and applying Soolantra. I have been using it now since 17 April (today is 23 May) and in that time, it has cleared all lumps, bumps, scales, rash, redness and amazingly (to me) stopped the strange flushing feeling that would creep across my face like an allergic reaction several times a day. I have been almost crying in gratitude with the relief from the pain and itching."
