Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "This has been a miracle cream for me! I’ve struggled with rosacea since my teens and am now 40. Tried it all with not much success. After using Soolantra for 2 months, my skin is now calm and clear with no spots at all, and it’s amazingly soft! I read a lot of reviews on here, so was prepared for the die-off and flare-up, which, luckily for me, wasn’t that bad. My night routine is CeraVe cream to foam cleanser, then Soolantra, I don’t use anything on top as the base is moisturizing enough for me. I can’t recommend this product enough, I finally feel like I have skin that behaves normally again!"

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I am one of the few African Americans suffering from rosacea, subtype 2. For the last 7 years, I have been on and off antibiotics and have tried almost every topical on the market. My skin would clear up and then almost immediately rebound back to the bumps and redness. I finally decided to try a new dermatologist, who convinced me to take another round of antibiotics, but this time add Soolantra to my nighttime regimen. I took 3 weeks of antibiotics and applied the Soolantra each night. Within a few days, I noticed a huge improvement, as many others have said, I had a couple of flare-ups along the way, but they were mild and didn't last long. I have been using it for 3 months, and there are no pustules, and the redness is 90% gone. My skin seems to get clearer each day. I know Soolantra is the reason for this."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I've been using it for two months, and the results have been amazing. My skin is clearer and brighter than it has been for years. I use Finacea every morning and Soolantra every night. After the first massive die-off and resulting flare-up after two weeks, it has been smooth sailing."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I have been using Soolantra for 2 months, and honestly, it is the best thing I have tried so far. I had papulopustular rosacea (mostly on my cheeks), and now it is almost completely gone. The bumps were gone after roughly 1 month, and now the redness is also more than 90% gone. I am just so happy I gave this a try. Also, one thing that you have to keep in mind: GIVE IT TIME. I did see progress from the beginning, but also some occasional flare-ups. Just stick with it. It's worth it!"

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I wrote a review before, it’s the best thing I have ever used. It made my rosacea worse at the start, then it cleared it all, and the texture of my skin was fabulous, everyone noticed. Unfortunately, this week I had a flare-up, but it’s because I’m pregnant again... I wish to know if I can still use Soolantra while pregnant..."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I've been on Soolantra now for almost 3 months. At 2 weeks, I had a flare-up. Then my face cleared up dramatically. Then at about 4 weeks, I had one of the worst flare-ups that I have ever had. Whiteheads everywhere and a few hard pustules that took over a week to heal. I wanted to give up, but am so glad I stuck with it! No breakouts since. If you can muscle through the ups and downs, it's so worth it. I believe this medication takes 60-90 days to see full results. Don't give up too early! I also just started on Rhofade in the AM. Love this as well! I do not want to take antibiotics, and so far these two creams are keeping my face under control!!"

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "Giving a 6 because I’m only two weeks in. The first few days, my type two bumpy rosacea started to clear. But by day 4-14, I had a bad flare-up on my forehead (problem area) and around my mouth. But my cheeks have had continuous improvement! I'm hoping it starts to get better, but I know it gets worse before it gets better. I’m trying to stay positive and not give up!"

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "At first, I had some stinging and flare-ups for about the first two weeks. Then, the redness began to clear up, and also, pimples and bumps had lessened significantly. My daily regimen in the morning: wash with Eucerin hydrating cleanser, then apply sodium/sulfacetamide 10% lotion (prescribed by Derm) as needed. I then use Eucerin SPF 15 lotion for forehead and neck, then apply Eucerin redness relief to cheeks and nose areas. At night, I apply Soolantra as directed and follow the same regimen (excluding sod/sulf) as in the morning. I also avoid alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, and some dairy products. Give this a try! It has worked well for me. Don't give up!"

For Rosacea "I have had rosacea since my early 20s and am now 68. It was never horrible but bad enough that I have treated it over the years with doxycycline, MetroGel, and azelaic acid. None of these made any significant difference. I woke one morning with the biggest blast of rosacea I had ever had, and it continued. So I went on ivermectin topical. It took about 6 weeks for me to see a difference, and I did go through significant flare-ups and the plethora of whiteheads that many have described. But, after about 8 weeks, my skin is completely clear, and it remains clear. I am a pharmacist and read a lot about the demodex being the culprit, and I am convinced it is. Ivermectin kills demodex. I realize it is expensive, but there are ways to get the cost down (ask your pharmacist) because if rosacea bothers you, it is worth every cent and more."

For Rosacea "I have been using Rosiver (Soolantra) for about a month now. I’m not sure if I should stop. I keep getting flare-ups where I get bad acne and bumps plus redness. There are moments of my skin seeming to calm down, only to flare up again. I’m tempted to stop, but read that people have seen positive results after using for a while."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "UPDATE: I last wrote here 17/4/19. I finished my three-month course on Soolantra for Perioral Dermatitis. Here’s a brief summary of what my skin was like during: Days 1-2: immediately cleared up everything. Days 3-14: huge flare-up - I’d wake up with 2/3 new papules each morning, and the cream made my skin itch like anything. Weeks 3-4: major improvement, barely any papules left, and my nose area had completely cleared. I also noticed I no longer itched after applying the cream! Weeks 5-8: started to get more papules on my chin, and the nose area flared up again. Weeks 9-11: probably the worst time - I now started to get 1-3 BIG whiteheads around my chin area, that said, they never lasted long (about 1-2 days). The best way to deal with these is to have a steamy shower because often they will pop naturally, then apply soolantra straight after! Week 12: now my skin is completely clear and smooth! I’m so happy! Really hoping this helps!"
