For High Cholesterol, Familial Heterozygous "First of all, I see a functional dietitian. Following a strict diet, regular exercise, and taking magnesium, vitamin D, vitamin K, I was able to drop 20 lbs in a year. My starting cholesterol was 315 and with a low-fat, no seed oil, higher protein diet, I was able to get my cholesterol down to 235. My LDL-C was 170. CA score of 165. So here I am, I had my first shot of Leqvio. Side effects are exhaustion, headaches, and foot and hand cramps. Extra water and magnesium seem to help."

For High Cholesterol "Just had 2nd injection…side effects abound (headache, nausea, muscle weakness and pain, low backache, constipation, ridiculous levels of fatigue, and much more) and never fully dissipated after 1st injection…fully started up again with this injection…all are annoying and affect quality of life…arthritis pain in hands and feet, and cramping in feet, legs, hands are among the worst along with the continual migraine. The medication definitely dramatically lowered my LDL…just not sure I want to continue."
