For Hepatitis C "Have had hep C since the late '90s. Avoided treatments because of horrific side effects. Offered this and was fearful of side effects. Kept an open mind and already eat a low-carb, very active, very healthy lifestyle, also quit smoking last Oct. Fast forward... Started it a full four days ago and a mild headache, which I cured with TONS of Gatorade. No calorie, no carbs Gatorade. Ate a really good, healthy meal before taking it, and I think this is the key. Outside a little tiredness, I am having zero side effects. I personally believe now the healthier you are going in, and with a positive attitude, anyone can do really well on this drug. The headache is not like a normal headache. It's not even painful, actually. Just dull, like you know it's there but not inhibiting. Weird... It didn't stop me from doing my day. The more I drank water and Gatorade, the less I seem to be experiencing this. Good luck."

For Hepatitis C "Started my week 8 today. Very little side effects. First couple of days had an upset stomach, but I found if I grazed a little all day, I got rid of all stomach upset. A little tired and achy, but so worth it. I am now Hep C free. Bloodwork on week 4 was clear."

For Hepatitis C "Currently on week 3. The first few days, I was very tired and had the worst headache, but once your body adjusts to the med, the side effects diminish. I learned that I took Mavyret best with my biggest meal of the day. Every person is different, but for me, taking it with just a slice of toast or a bowl of cereal wasn't working out in a good way. It gave me horrible stomach issues. This week, I noticed that I have much more energy. I feel great overall. Forgot to mention that I also take several other meds for PTSD and depression: Prozac, Wellbutrin, Effexor, Topamax, Minipress, and Vistaril. No drug interactions and no weird side effects. Mavyret is definitely worth the try. Every person is different, but so far in my journey, I say it's a true blessing."

For Hepatitis C "Have 2 genotypes as it has mutated. My hep C I have had for 30 years. I am a 45-year-old male and have started Mavyret 4 days ago. I have noticed side effects: thinning of hair, pale skin, no energy, irritability, depression, sore stomach, vomiting, itchiness, hot and cold flushes, but hopefully I will beat this disease."

For Hepatitis C "In 2 days, I have finished 4 weeks of 8-week treatment on Mavyret. I didn't know I had hep C until it showed up on a blood test. Minor side effects with Mavyret: slight nausea, aches, and pains. Waking up at 4:30 a.m. every morning, very emotional, tired, really tired some days, starting to experience hair loss. Really vivid dreams. I think I would have had hep C since 1976. I was terrified of taking Mavyret, but it's been a lot easier than I thought it would be."

For Hepatitis C "Ok, it is now just the start of week 11 out of 12, and I can see the finish line/light at the end of the tunnel. My first report was after 8 days when I had a lot of the symptoms, but they were tolerable; has certainly been a roller coaster since, with disrupted sleep patterns, tired, and a bit disconnected in the afternoons - a little brain fade now and then, hit with the flu - but still ok; taking after food in the early evening and lots of water has worked; really looking forward to that last pill in the treatment; just have to take it one day at a time and remain positive - still recommend this treatment, but time will tell - all the best to everyone on the same journey! Cheers to an end to hep c!"

For Hepatitis C "I'm onto my third week, hardly any side effects except I'm very, very tired, usually not long after I have the tablet, up till about 5 hours after. I took the tablet at work for the first two weeks, then stopped working due to being so tired at work. I've had hepatitis C for over 20 years, genotype 3A, never had any other treatment before, just had my first blood test yesterday, awaiting results. I'll keep you updated."

For Hepatitis C "I've been on Mavyret for 5 weeks. So far, several light headaches, intensely itchy feet sometimes that drive me mad! And rare bouts of intense, but brief nausea. Once or twice, I've had huge thirst outrages. No blood tests yet, will update then. Life is pretty much normal, and treatment has been a doddle overall. Oh, I have had the odd vertigo and tiredness. One day I slept 5 hours, that was once. Had hep C for 30 years, since a teen, genotype 3A. My viral load was only 95,000."

For Hepatitis C "Two weeks to go, and BW came back 'undetected.' I have to agree with SM888's review posted on Feb 5th. I agree, as treatment continues week after week, certain side effects feel worse. I do get headaches often, and my digestive system is a mess. My worst side effect is the tiredness. My hobby is sleeping. It's overwhelming at times. I just want to sleep or take several naps throughout the day. Zero motivation, and my body feels too heavy to move and stuck in Lala land. It's all worth it, though. There's light at the end of the tunnel!"

For Hepatitis C "I was pretty anxious to start, the bad reviews always stick in my mind, but I'm on day 3 now. I am a 52-year-old female, had hep C for 26 years. I am not on any other meds and have no other health conditions. I take it with a meal around 7 pm. The first day, I felt really tired for about an hour after taking that lasted until about noon. On the second day, I took it with a smaller meal, and after about an hour, felt tired, had a mild headache, and was a little itchy, felt great the next day. On the third day, I took it with a bigger meal, and I feel a little tired. I've had strange vivid dreams also. I always take it with 32 oz. water and drink it throughout the day. I feel okay so far. I will add to my review if I experience something more than I've included already. Otherwise, I will post at the end of treatment."

For Hepatitis C "Hep C genotype 3a Mavyret 12-week only treatment for Hep C, hopefully the last. No side effects except when I would dose with no food. I would experience a little bit of nausea and had some weight loss for the first 4-6 weeks. After 4 weeks, not detectable. I believe my levels were 40,000 with some slight scarring of my liver. 8-10 weeks, I noticed lingering bouts of anxiety and depression. I am on my last week of the 12-week treatment, and I am experiencing absolutely no energy or drive to do anything. I’m thinking it’s some depression from the medicine, I’m hoping so. I am also five months clean off of heroin, so maybe that has something to do with it, I’m not sure. All in all, I’m grateful and would definitely recommend the treatment."

For Hepatitis C "I'm on week 5, half done the week. I feel horrible. They think I contracted it from a blood transfusion in 1993. I was diagnosed in 2011. I also have cirrhosis, stage 4, no spleen, no appendix, no gallbladder, and have been on meds that filter through kidneys now for 7 years. My partner does not understand the extra pain of joints and being so tired I don't want to get out of bed. And emotionally, I'm a mess. I take my meds at the same time every day with food on my stomach, drink lots of water, and try to eat better. I'm grateful for the meds and appreciate Medicaid. I haven't had any blood work done since I started, so I'm not sure how things are going. I wish everyone the best."

For Hepatitis C "I am on my 5th week of Mavyret, and my side effects are facial blemishes, feels like a ball of dough in my stomach, lethargy, and 15-pound weight gain. That being said, blood tests reveal no Hep C. Yes, it's worth it. Has anyone else gained weight?"

For Hepatitis C "I've had Hep C for about 20 years with minimal side effects, so it was easy to forget about. I'm 42 and just recently started to feel tired and sluggish, so I figured I should talk to my primary doctor about treatment. With all of the new medication out there, it was a no-brainer. My insurance approved my Mavyret treatment, and I've been taking it for about 8 days now. I have definite side effects from it: headaches and pretty terrible nausea, and an all-around crappy and tired feeling. The nausea is almost nonstop, but the tired feeling seems to come on shortly after I take the medicine and lasts for several hours. Regardless of the side effects, I still feel blessed to have been approved for this treatment."

For Hepatitis C "I just began my 8-week treatment, and the first 2 days I had slight headaches, nothing major. Today is day four, but I have not yet had time to take my fourth dose, and I woke up with chest pains, headache, and stomach cramps. Not sure if all of this is related. The headache is still very light, but I'm more concerned about the chest pain. Has anyone experienced side effects besides the two listed on their website? And I'm so tired all the time!"

For Hepatitis C "I was afraid to take this med as well, because it was so new. I've had Hep C for 26 years and was starting to feel the effects (so I thought). Finally got approved after trying for years to get treatment. I was expecting it to totally make me sick. It has not! The only side effect is that I am totally tired all the time. I just feel heavy. I have no motivation to exercise, clean, shop, or anything. I'm sure my family will be happy when this is all done. I am on week 7. My viral load at week 4 was undetected. Yea! I hope it stays that way. I did have genotype 3. Will update this after completing. Thanks."

For Hepatitis C "I had a terrible and frightening reaction with the first meds I was given, Viekira and Ribavirin! I literally thought and believed I might die. The Mavyret was taken without a single notable side effect. I may have been slightly more tired, but nothing noteworthy. The fact I took it for such a less amount of time was also positive. I would tell anyone this was definitely an easy, simple medication to take and to not worry about all the side effects that come with the other meds!"

For Hepatitis C "So I did the 8-week treatment, 3 pills a day. It was overall very easy, and the only effects I had were being tired most days and somewhat weak. Nothing crazy. It was mainly low motivation and tiredness. I did have boosted energy days every few days."

For Hepatitis C "I'm on my first week, and I take it at night before I go to bed, which helps with the tiredness it was giving me. Besides tiredness, I got acne on the second day of taking it. I have never had issues with acne. But I look at the positive side, and that's I'm getting cured, and that's all I can be grateful for. I'm taking this for 12 weeks, I will write another review halfway through and one at the end."

For Hepatitis C "Day 7 on Mavyret and have had mild side effects. Some headaches and light nausea. Was really nervous to take this but so glad I’ve started. Going well so far. Side effects totally manageable. A little tired and seem to wind easily but still working out with a trainer. Keep you posted for week 2!"

For Hepatitis C "I have been taking Mavyret for 8 weeks, and I feel super tired. Completely drained to do anything. My body hurts, and sometimes I get sharp pains in my side. I get severe migraines. I have lost all my energy. I am waiting to go and take blood work to find out if it worked. I take 3 pills at night."

For Hepatitis C "I have had hep C for 32 years that I know of, but was medically diagnosed 18 years ago. I was always hesitant to do anything about it since the good drugs like Harvoni and Sovaldi were insanely expensive. Anyway, I was just approved through Medicaid to take this new hep C drug. I am so looking forward to taking this drug and hopefully totally eliminating this disease forever! I get my first monthly prescription by delivery tomorrow. I realize one of the side effects is tiredness, but I already feel drowsy and not energetic enough now! Looking forward to my journey with this medication. I am praying it helps me! Will send a follow-up letter in a week to let everyone know the outcome."

For Hepatitis C "During the 8-week course, I had some nausea, stomach issues, fatigue, and tiredness. I took the 3 pills regularly at 7 pm with my dinner meal. My blood work showed the virus was undetectable after 2 weeks. At completion, I did not regain my energy and needed to rest in the morning and again tired in late afternoon, gradually, within 2 months, the fatigue got worse, and I have an achy neck and shoulder. The virus is still undetectable, so why am I still feeling tired?"
