For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I was relatively stable despite mets in bone. I was able to walk and function reasonably well. After the first fulvestrant, I had digestive problems and tiredness. After the second, I had bone pain (new mets) and generalized muscle pain, especially shoulders. Trigeminal neuralgia, possibly from brain mets and new breast lesions. I feel as if this medication has finished me off. Doctors do not take these bad outcomes seriously, the attitude is that it was going to happen anyway."

For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I am a 4-year, 9-month survivor of metastatic breast disease to bone. The injection itself is painful, but very few side effects for me. Tiredness, pain at the injection site, and sore throat, dry mouth are the most persistent side effects. Tingling and burning sensation on the right side of the injection site."

For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "Nasty drug. I have postherpetic neuralgia, this has increased the severity of the pain. I have diarrhea and extreme lethargy. Only had 3 doses. Think the cure is worse than the complaint. Seriously considering stopping treatment and taking pot luck."

For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "On Faslodex for a year. Ok so far, just some tiredness and loss of appetite, and some dizziness if I don't keep moving. Scans stable."

For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I am a 2-year survivor of metastatic breast disease to bone. The injection itself is painful, but very few side effects for me. Tiredness, pain at the injection site, and sore throat are the most persistent side effects. I like the fact that I only have to get it once a month."
