For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "For 8 months, I had injections in my butt every 28 days. It did lower my estrogen. After stopping because of chronic injection pain, they tried injection in the thigh. It’s been four months since the last butt shots and 3 months since the thigh shot. The pain is still there and very hard sometimes. I really believe nerve damage is the cause. I’ve been back on letrozole for 2 months but still experience the chronic sporadic burning, numbing butt, and thighs. Besides that, it made me smell of burnt motor oil. Drs brush it off and say, “Oh, I’ve never heard that before.”"

For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I have been taking Faslodex, Zoladex, and Ibrance for 6 years. I went off of Zoladex 6 months ago! I have been tumor-free for 4.5 years. I had stage 4 cancer with all mets in my liver. They are all gone now! I also live a very holistic lifestyle and do so many things to support my system while on these pharmaceuticals. I had very little side effects, I believe because of the other modalities I incorporate into my healing protocol. In the first few months, I had mouth sores. I had a week or two of hot flashes and insomnia. Then I had no side effects. I did get some irritation and electric feels in the Faslodex injection site. After playing with injection placement, it went away. Now it is back. I am having hip pain and a feeling of burning on my skin near the injection site. I heard they are only supposed to put up to 2.5 cc's of medicine into a muscle. These shots are 5 cc's, which is concerning to me. I am looking to stop this medication soon. I feel I don't need it anymore."

For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I am a 4-year, 9-month survivor of metastatic breast disease to bone. The injection itself is painful, but very few side effects for me. Tiredness, pain at the injection site, and sore throat, dry mouth are the most persistent side effects. Tingling and burning sensation on the right side of the injection site."
