For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I want to warn you all about this drug. A very close person to me died because of Faslodex. She was put on it after the previous drug stopped working, and even though she had changes in her liver, the doctor decided to put her on Faslodex. Her physical state was very good at that point. Already after the first injection, she started experiencing severe pain in her lower back. Then, from one injection to another, her state was getting worse. Her liver got inflamed, and she couldn't eat normally. It got to the point where she couldn't walk anymore, from severe pain and weakness. She died in pain, not knowing what was happening to her, and doctors couldn't explain anything, despite numerous exams. The final diagnosis was general metastasis - while only two weeks before her death, she had all the exams that showed nothing. Therefore, please think twice before you trust your doctor. If your reaction to Faslodex is as bad, stop it immediately and stay away from it because it's POISON."

For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I've been on the shots for 5 months. The first 3 months, I received the shots from another doctor, and they were painful in administration and for 2-3 days after. I changed doctors, and the nurse that has given it to me the last two months has made a big difference. I have very little pain with the injection and no pain in my buttocks afterward. What a blessing. My take on that is it wasn't warmed up to room temperature, and she is injecting it higher on the butt than the other nurse did. I get a funny taste immediately, and my urine has a chemical smell for about a week. That's about it."

For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I’m on Faslodex for about a year. I have a lot of side effects—same as everyone else. I was just wondering if anyone is experiencing jaw pain. It just came on suddenly. I went to the dentist, and they said I have bone loss but no infection to cause pain. Some days the jaw hurts more than others."

For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I have been taking Faslodex, Zoladex, and Ibrance for 6 years. I went off of Zoladex 6 months ago! I have been tumor-free for 4.5 years. I had stage 4 cancer with all mets in my liver. They are all gone now! I also live a very holistic lifestyle and do so many things to support my system while on these pharmaceuticals. I had very little side effects, I believe because of the other modalities I incorporate into my healing protocol. In the first few months, I had mouth sores. I had a week or two of hot flashes and insomnia. Then I had no side effects. I did get some irritation and electric feels in the Faslodex injection site. After playing with injection placement, it went away. Now it is back. I am having hip pain and a feeling of burning on my skin near the injection site. I heard they are only supposed to put up to 2.5 cc's of medicine into a muscle. These shots are 5 cc's, which is concerning to me. I am looking to stop this medication soon. I feel I don't need it anymore."

For Breast Cancer "It didn't work for me. I was on it about 3 months, and I was in so much pain that it was hard. The pain was in my joints and bony surfaces. The doctor did put me on Celebrex, and that made the pain go away. I can't give it a good review because it didn't work for me."

For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I have been receiving injections of Faslodex for one year now. I have done much research on Faslodex and found that it has given me peripheral neuropathy in my foot and thigh. Not everyone will experience this condition, but I do still take the injection hoping for the best. I also have some arm pains and dry mouth. Every third week, I take Xgeva for my bones and will continue treatment until some other treatment comes my way."
