For Bladder Infection "After 9 days of cystitis, I went to the doctor and was prescribed fosfomycin. I was told to take 2 doses over 2 days. 1st dose, and I woke up feeling totally exhausted with limbs like cement and my head like a lead balloon. My memory was impaired too. But it had improved my symptoms, and my urine had cleared. I felt reluctant to take the second but thought, well, only one more. Big mistake. My head is tingly and feels like my brain is being squeezed. I feel faint and dizzy. Nauseous. My arms and legs are tingly. I dread to think how I will feel in the morning. It's now after 2 am, and I am staying up to drink lots in the hope I can 'flush' this out of my body. But having done the research (I know, after the fact), it seems it should only have been 1 dose, and the damn stuff stays in your system for 36+ hours! I think, probably, the younger patients would suffer fewer symptoms, and it does seem to be a miracle cure for some."

Fosfomycin for Bladder Infection "Would not use Monurol again. Felt dizzy and weak after a few minutes of taking it, with little results after 3 days. Not good."

For Bladder Infection "Awful medication. I took 1 sachet of fosfomycin for a UTI. I felt dizzy, faint, headache, weak, no energy, so very unwell after taking it. It may work for some, but made me 20 times worse. I even contemplated phoning for an ambulance. I will never take this awful medicine again."
