For High Blood Pressure "Not for me. Enlarged breasts, joint pain, headache, swollen gums causing nonstop teeth pain and 'wheezing' (I have asthma as well), increased sinus issues. Initially, I thought it was a good thing, but as time has gone on, I feel horrible. In going up to 5 mg, it has been difficult to climb stairs (breathless). 2.5 mg didn't do much, but 5 mg did bring my pressure down."

For High Blood Pressure "I was on amlodipine for 2 years. My legs started to tighten terribly and my feet were swelling, so my GP put me on felodipine. Wow. I experienced tingling all over my body, and numbness to the point of dropping cups, etc. I had headaches that rendered me to bed, I couldn't lift my head off the pillows without feeling nausea and dizziness. Then I started coughing up blood. This was all in 3 weeks. I stopped taking it, and everything returned to normal after 3 days. But unfortunately, my blood pressure was high again. So now I am awaiting new medication."
