For Birth Control "This birth control isn't bad, definitely not the best but not the worst. Before Cryselle, I had almost perfect skin with occasional breakouts here and there, but I break out on my chin often now. It's not bad, and it goes away in a couple of days or so, but before the pill, that almost never happened. It made my period a little shorter by a day or so. I do have very bad mood swings, but I've always been kind of a moody person, so it might just be me. But other than that, this pill is good, I haven't gained any weight, I don't spot, I occasionally get mild headaches... but nothing an Advil couldn't fix."

For Birth Control "I've been on this birth control for nearly 6 months. In the beginning, I got that it wasn't awful, I did experience mood swings at first and breakthrough bleeding. The longer I have been on it, the more consistent it's almost as if I have my period 3 weeks on and one week off. It has made me severely irritable, to put it nicely, and because I have been bleeding so much, my sex drive has also suffered. I would not recommend this birth control to anybody. In my opinion, it's awful."

For Birth Control "I was so surprised when I saw how many negative reviews for this birth control there are, because I feel the opposite. I’ve been on it for 5 years now, and it’s done so much for me. I haven’t noticed any mood swings or acne. I used to get really, really horrible cramps, and now I barely notice them. I also love how regular my period is now and never have to stress about when it’s going to come."

For Birth Control "Did its job, no pregnancy, so I gotta give it credit where it's due. It also lightened my periods a decent amount. It did give me extreme depression, mood swings, irritability, and a HUGE drop in libido, though. The first few months caused me to vomit every few days when taking it. I also found overall energy levels dropped, and I had far less physical energy to do daily tasks. It does the job of prevention but has a lot of crummy side effects."

For Birth Control "I had been on this pill for 10 months. At first, it was fine, but then my mood swings changed like crazy. Made me really psychotic and depressed for no reason at all. It made my skin very dry and dull, my appetite also decreased. I didn't have any acne, though, and my period was very light, which is a bonus. I stopped using it a few months ago, and I feel like I'm normal again. On another pill now, hoping to work this time."

For Birth Control "After trying Kyleena and suffering from severe panic attacks and cystic acne (normally my skin is clear), I decided to try the pill. The first medication I tried was Junel FE 1/20, then Slynd, and finally landed on Cryselle. This medication has been AMAZING! I have had a few side effects (slight acne, mood swings, bloating, and hair loss) all resolved themselves in less than a month."

For Birth Control "I started taking Cryselle because the higher dose pills, like Tri-Sprintec, made me throw up. At first, Cryselle made all the nausea go away, and I lost weight. After about a week, I started having pretty severe mood swings and started getting the worst acne I've ever had. I got huge pimples all over my face... the long-lasting, painful ones. It was not a great experience."

For Birth Control "I've noticed my weight going up and down every day. My mood is up and down, depends on how my day goes. I have no acne while on this pill, but can you really get pregnant while taking this pill? How effective is it?"

For Birth Control "I have been on Lo/Ovral for about 10 years now and have loved it, but it has started giving me strange mood swings. I am 30 and feel that my hormones are changing, and I need to speak to a doctor about changing my birth control. I have started noticing no sex drive, massive mood swings, lack of sleep, and here recently, weight gain. But like I said, I have loved it up until now."

For Birth Control "I have tried several different birth controls. They all gave me major mood swings. This birth control is the first one that I have been able to take successfully."

For Birth Control "I wouldn't recommend Cryselle. I took this for three months. I had the worst cycle cramps, my pain felt like I was in labor, and I would have mood swings."

For Birth Control "Absolutely the worst birth control. My skin has become horrible, and I've had to start other medications to help my skin this last month. The mood swings are horrible, and I will be switching to Yaz."
