For Birth Control "I am just finishing my first pack of VyLibra, and I don’t really have too many complaints. My acne has cleared, I actually lost weight instead of gained, and my period is very light now. At first, I was experiencing weird abdominal cramps, but they eventually went away. The emotional sensitivity has been a little extra recently, but I’m already a sensitive person, so it hasn’t been bad for me. I can't really complain about it, it’s been pretty good so far."

For Birth Control "I agree with the comment that said to take this pill with caution. While it did its job and I did not get pregnant, VyLibra led to a slew of dangerous health concerns for me. I experienced just about every side effect listed, including migraine with an aura (I’ve never had migraines in my life), swelling in my feet, nausea, vaginal dryness/itching, chest pains, memory loss, blurred vision, mood swings, and more. In the time I started taking this pill, my blood pressure raised to above average. My husband and I recently moved to a new state, and because I didn’t have insurance, I went to Planned Parenthood. The doctor there was very kind, and she was highly troubled that a doctor would prescribe this pill knowing heart disease/heart attacks run in my family. Just to give some insight, I’m a little overweight (about 30 pounds), but I walk 2-3 miles every day. I’m 34, and up until this point, I’ve had very few health problems, never been hospitalized or seriously ill."

For Birth Control "I've always struggled with acne, which is why I tried birth control for the first time. This is my third week on these pills, and I've been breaking out with painful cysts. I've been crying over little things and have been having constant mood swings. I just hope my acne doesn't get worse and the pills will do what they were supposed to do!"

For Birth Control "Overall, this birth control works. However, the side effects are not worth the protection. I am an emotional person already, but on this BC, I was crying constantly. Nausea was common, especially before eating. Those two I could handle, but the side effect that made this unbearable was vaginal dryness. I’m 19 and should not be suffering from that condition. It made sex painful and uncomfortable. I could usually use lube and it’d be okay, but it made me even more emotional and embarrassed. I don’t recommend VyLibra for that reason, but everyone reacts differently."

For Birth Control "I started it about a month ago. I got it for my acne and because I was hoping it would make my boobs bigger, LOL. I don’t really suffer from severe acne, but sometimes I have a breakout, so I figured it would be OK. Of course, adjusting to the high hormones has made me break out-nothing too bad. I do get nauseous here and there, with diarrhea and definite mood swings-more irritable. My feet do swell. But I just started taking cinnamon pills for blood circulation, so hopefully that helps. Overall, my body is still adjusting, so I don’t have a full review, but as time is going by, I’m getting used to it and it’s not so bad, and yes, it did plump up my boobs."

For Birth Control "Constant breakthrough bleeding! I’ve been on VyLibra since December, and it’s currently April. I haven’t stopped spotting yet. I’m already an emotional/moody person, and this exacerbated the issue. It’s made me very tearful and embarrassed due to continuous spotting. Breast soreness was incredibly painful as well."

For Birth Control "The local women's health clinic prescribed VyLibra because I was going on vacation to see my boyfriend, and I wanted to skip my periods. After a few days, I started feeling awful anxiety and completely lost interest in any kind of intimacy, and always being tired. A couple of days after, I started getting the mood swings, crying at the drop of a hat, and depression. I even became paranoid and canceled my trip, which I immediately regretted. The vaginal dryness is annoying, and I even lost interest in my artwork (I'm an artist, and this is the worst thing ever!). I've been on the pill before (Sprintec) and never had these problems before. I wish I'd known about these side effects before I started. Another weird one is I can normally remember my dreams, but now it's like I'm not dreaming at all. I'm not even a whole month on these things, and I want to quit. Definitely do not recommend."
