For Birth Control "I recently was told I was to start taking Mili as my pharmacy, CVS, no longer carries Sprintec. I am 3 weeks into my first BC pack of Mili, and I have never felt more awful. I have had a headache and have been extremely nauseous the past 4 days. My anxiety is through the roof, and my breasts feel like they have gone up a whole cup size. When I was on Sprintec, I never had any of these issues. I really never would have expected this when switching from one combination pill to another."

For Acne "Originally, I was prescribed Ortho Tri-Cyclen, but due to insurance issues, I was given Tri-Sprintec. I know you're supposed to give things usually 2-3 months to work, but let me tell you, this pill has worked miracles! The first 3 weeks were terrible. I was breaking out even worse than I already was. I mean, I was getting acne right above my eyelids, underneath my eye, and just about everywhere else on my face. I was so nauseous for a couple of days that I almost had to skip a wedding. But I am so glad I stuck to this. My face has been the clearest it's been in a year. I'm still battling 1-2 zits, but that's nothing compared to what it was. I am left with a lot of dark spots, but a few hydrafacial treatments should help with that."

For Birth Control "This birth control is absolutely atrocious! I started taking it about 2 months ago, and I have never felt worse. My nipples are so sensitive and hurt so bad. I have such terrible gas, and I am so bloated. I get incredibly nauseous and even throw up sometimes. I was on Larissa before this, and I have never gotten worse side effects. I have no motivation to do anything, my mood swings are off the roof. Do not recommend this at all!"

For Birth Control "I was put on Tri-Lo-Marzia after Ortho Tri-Cyclen was discontinued (sad times, I loved Ortho Tri-Cyclen!). I was VERY skeptical after reading these crazy reviews. Now the first two weeks, I really didn't like it. Super nauseous/indigestion. Also delayed my perfectly scheduled period by 1 day. (This isn't a big deal but scary when the last 8 years you get your period on the exact same day every month). Overall, it's been three months, and I have been fine with side effects and PMS. Nothing out of the ordinary!"

For Birth Control "I loved this pill, and it worked wonderfully for me. As long as I ate with the pill during the first week, I never felt nauseous. The only reason I'm having to switch now is that my insurance no longer covers enough of it, and I can't afford $150 a month. Very nervous to leave a pill that worked so well for me."

For Birth Control "This is my first birth control I have ever taken. I am 28. I am on it due to severe endometriosis. I am on my 4th pack in the first week in. My periods went from having severe bleeding with large clots and mucus for 8 days to now having a lighter period with few clots for 5-6 days. I noticed the first packet I was nauseous. I don't have much of an appetite, and I haven't gained weight, in fact, it helped the severe bloating I had. My hormones before were horrible, I was severely depressed and cried every night. Now I don't cry and am happier. I noticed my breasts are tender every day though more so when I have my period. I still get a little moody on my period, but it is manageable. It also helped my pelvic pain a bit from the endometriosis."

For Birth Control "I am 24 and have been on Ortho Cyclen for almost 5 years and love it! When I was on the patch, I felt nauseous and weak, and it would never stay on my skin for the entire week, so I switched to Ortho Tri-Cyclen. Every week I would feel horrible because my body could never get used to the fluctuating hormones. So, my doctor started me on Ortho Cyclen for the constant, even stream of hormones, and voila! I found the best pill for me. Recently, I have been considering switching to an IUD, as I am tired of having to be chained to my pills even on vacation. But as far as a pill goes, this one is top-notch."

For Birth Control "I was told Tri-Sprintec had the same ingredients as Tri-Nessa (Tri-Nessa has been discontinued), so I went with it. I’m on day 6, and it’s been AWFUL! I feel nauseous and sick all day long. My mood is out of control, and I get these horrible headaches that won’t go away. I didn’t want to believe the reviews because everyone reacts differently, but this truly is the worst pill I’ve ever been on. I don’t even think I can finish the pack, TBH. Nothing like Tri-Nessa."

For Birth Control "Increased depression and headaches all the time. Got rashes around my face and broke out really bad. Anxiety and mood swings off the roof. Still have cramps and gained so much weight. No sex drive whatsoever and feel nausea all the time."

For Birth Control "Pros - Regular cycle - No cramps - No acne (other than a couple bumps a month) - Decreased period strength Cons - Morning sickness (felt nauseous anytime I had an empty stomach) - Decreased sex drive - Painful sex (unless there was a lot of foreplay) - Remembering to take a pill on time, if you didn't, your period could last 2 weeks Notes - Period would start 3 days after taking the white pills."

For Birth Control "This birth control has been detrimental to my health. In just six months of taking it, my cholesterol (which has never been an issue; I am young) skyrocketed to almost double what it should be. I was nearly put on statins that I would be taking for the next 60+ years as a result. I also put on 15 pounds, and I'm super tired, nauseous, and have no sex drive. If you start feeling funny after the first month of taking this, get off of it before it starts causing permanent damage."

For Birth Control "2, only because this drug did technically do its job of preventing pregnancy, but that’s the only good thing that can be said about it. I was handed this generic after moving jobs and getting a new health insurance plan. I was on Tri-Sprintec for almost 10 years with no negative side effects. Within a couple of weeks of starting Tri-Estarylla, I started feeling extremely nauseous at all times of the day and night and having terrible anxiety. For about five months, I felt sick and crazy without having any idea why. I went to three different doctors and was put on anxiety medication, but no one could figure out what was wrong with me. I came across other reviews of this drug and saw other people having similar experiences. I’ve changed generic brands a few times in the past and never thought anything of it, but just to be safe, I called my doctor and asked to be put back on Tri-Sprintec. Sure enough, I’ve felt fine ever since. Everybody is different, but for me, this stuff was awful."

For Birth Control "This drug is a life ruiner. I was on Trinessa for a while and doing fine before I randomly got switched to this for no reason. Since starting this drug, I have become nauseous, lightheaded, depressed, constipated, and extremely fatigued. I can only wear loose, flowy clothing or I will get heat flashes and pass out (I'm only 21). I have headaches regularly. Anxiety tics that I worked hard to get rid of years ago are back. I have painful cystic acne that I never had before, and I've gained weight. Taking this drug almost made me fail a semester of school, and it cost me multiple friendships because I was too fatigued and depressed to leave my room and socialize. My self-confidence is at an all-time low. It is not worth it. This drug is cruel."

For Birth Control "To help with a bad case of PMS (acne, depression, anxiety), decided to start something that will help regulate my periods and balance my hormones. Just started this, and now on day 5, and my only complaint is I feel like I have 'morning sickness.' I'm so sick to my stomach not long after taking it. And prescription nausea meds don't help. I'm not expecting the acne to clear up immediately, but on the plus side, no depression and anxiety, which is a huge win. So far, if the nausea leaves within the next couple months, I will continue this medication."

For Birth Control "The first week of taking this pill, I experienced nausea EVERY SINGLE DAY directly after taking the pill. It got a little worse while I was driving, which didn't help since I already had car sickness problems. After that, though, it went away. The first time I got my period with it was a few days after the placebo pills, and so far, it's basically just spotting. Hope this is normal because I am sexually active."

For Birth Control "I have been on Tri-Cyclen Lo for nearly three months, and I am VERY pleased with it. This is the first time I have even taken a birth control pill, and I was very wary to begin the pill after reading many horror stories online. I am very glad that I did not let my fears prevent me from taking the pill. PROS: -No weight gain -No extreme mood swings -No decrease in sex drive -Easy to use -Effective -Less premenstrual cramps, shorter periods CONS: -For the first few days of the pill, I felt extremely nauseous. It was so bad that I considered giving it up, but I am glad I didn't, as the nausea went away after the first week. -I now experience headaches before my expected period."

For Birth Control "I've tried Ortho-Cyclen and Microgestin 1/20 and Diane 35 before. OC made me gain weight like crazy, and I couldn't deal with the bloating; I also lost a ton of muscle mass. I've been on OTC-Lo for about a week, but I feel such a big difference in the degree of my side effects. I'm Asian, 5'2" and 118 lbs for reference. I don't feel nauseous at all, very minimal bloating, my skin's a bit clearer, and my sex drive's the same! I'm nervous about the tri-phasic style of the pill as I'm very sensitive to hormone shifts, so I may update my review after a month. I think people just really need to find a pill that most closely mimics their natural hormone levels and go up or down in estrogen and progestin as they observe the changes in their body."

For Birth Control "This is my third month, and honestly, I love it. It's perfect for me, but you know what they always say: 'birth control does work differently on different women,' mainly because we all have different reactions to Sprintec. BUT! The 'Cons' about this pill. Yes, ladies, your breasts will be sore most of the time! Well, that's for me basically, but other than that, I haven't been feeling nauseous as much though, but that's only when it's close to my period. I don't get headaches, no swelling, no gain in weight, it's just perfect for me. Oh, and the most important thing I love, love, love about this pill: ladies, if you have bad cramps, let's say, 1-10, an 8-10, I highly recommend this pill because by the first month, my cramps weren't bad at all, it went to a 5."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I really don't like this pill. I feel sick all the time. Headaches, blurred vision, motion sickness, hot flashes, and depression. My vagina is always dry and itchy. I am so sick to the point of leaving work and lying in bed all day. The weight gain is horrible. I was on it for period control."

For Birth Control "After my BC pill that I had been taking for about 18 years was discontinued, I have been searching for one that I like. My doctor suggested Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. It's been almost 1 year, and I want to change pills. Every month I experience a migraine along with my period that lasts 2-3 days. I have also had nausea, mood swings, bloating, and trouble losing weight. Recently, I have had breakthrough bleeding lasting several days. All of these symptoms are a first for me."

For Birth Control "I have been on birth control for two years. I started Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo before switching over to the generic brand. When I started taking the birth control, I was nauseous. I had loss of appetite and began to lose weight. I lost overall 40 lbs in two years. I still don’t have a big appetite. I do eat, but my portions are smaller. My periods are normal and light. I like this birth control. It works well for me."

For Birth Control "I have been taking this medicine for about a month and a half. It honestly has worked great. My period was lighter, although it was a little longer. My acne has been clearing up. Also, my sex drive never went down, so that's awesome. When I first started taking it, I had the same feeling of morning sickness. But it went away and hasn't come back. At times, I will get tender breasts. Also, I don't have mood swings or cry a lot like other people say they do. I am the same as I always have been. Overall, I would say that this is a great medication and highly recommend for you to try!"

For Birth Control "I am on my third month of this birth control, and I am satisfied with it. The first week I took it, I would take the pill at night and then wake up in the morning with vomiting or nausea. The morning after I took the very first pill was the worst. This occurred the first few white pills of the second pack as well, however, it subsided after a few days. I noticed I was moodier than usual the first few weeks, but that went away. I'm glad I didn't stop taking it because now I don't even notice anything negative. I haven't gained weight, it hasn't helped my acne, but it hasn't hurt it either, so that's fine with me. My periods became lighter for fewer days and MUCH less painful. My cramps are so much better now. Most importantly, I'm not pregnant."

For Birth Control "I didn't last a full week with this prescription, despite the fact that I was given three months' worth. Within just a period of a couple of days, I was nauseous, dizzy, it gave me diarrhea, and it made me irritable and tired. I was so sick to my stomach that even though food smelled good, it instantly made me sick to my stomach. Too high dosage for me."
