For Birth Control "I've been on Junel Fe for almost a month. I don't like taking it because I can taste the pill. I started taking the pill on the 26th of September and started my cycle on October 7th and still bleeding but normal instead of heavy. The nurse told me that it may take a couple of months for my body to get adjusted to the pill. I will continue taking the pill until otherwise."

For Birth Control "I took this birth control to regulate my periods and ease some of my horrid cramping. While the shorter period was nice, my cramps were still excruciating. I could have lived with this if it wasn't for the fact that at around the third month I started getting cysts all along my jaw and cheeks. This birth control made my face break out the worst it's ever been. I've been off it for about a month and a half and my face is still riddled with acne. So if you are prone to acne and don't have the time to wait however long for your face to adjust, I wouldn't recommend this."

For Birth Control "Do not recommend. I started this birth control about 6 months ago because, like most, I didn’t want to get pregnant. So far it has done its job in that aspect. I have very light periods and they normally only last a few days. So if you are looking for period help, this is great. However, the bad outweighs the good for me. I have absolutely no sex drive. Before this, bf and I were intimate pretty much every day. Now we go weeks and sometimes even months because the thought of sex doesn’t interest me anymore. I can’t “O” more than once a week. In addition, I have insane mood swings, irritability, sore breasts, and breast enlargement. I am also taking an anxiety medicine which also has a low sex drive side effect, so it very well could be both causing this. All in all, it’s hurting my relationship."

For Birth Control "This birth control pill Junel Fe 24 gave me HORRIBLE ACNE! I was previously on generic Ortho-Tricyclin Lo but switched to Junel after I had mild side effects. The first month was fine, but as soon as month two came, I started getting painful cystic acne and whiteheads. By month 3, it's the worst it's ever been. I'm 30 years old and so embarrassed to show my skin, but the worst part is the pain it's causing me! My periods are super short on this pill as well (2-3 days). After month 3, I went back on Ortho-Tricyclin Lo and also went on Spironolactone. Worst BC experience ever."
