For Birth Control "I will start by saying I know everyone’s body is different, and may not work for me, might work great for you! However, I’ve tried tons of BC pills, this birth control is definitely not for me and has the worst side effects that I personally have experienced! I started experiencing anxiety, which I’ve rarely had issues with in the past. I also have been slightly nauseous, but I mostly notice myself dry gagging…often…so bizarre! I also have been having more headaches and stomach aches than usual. Especially when I first started taking this pill, lots of headaches. I also experienced horrible night sweats, which have started to go away after a few months. I also spot light brownish blood nearly every day, even after a full period. Sex drive definitely decreased, but not horribly bad. That is just my experience with the Junel Fe pill."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this pill for about 2 weeks, and since the first day I started it, I’ve felt moody. My anxiety has gotten worse, and I’m getting headaches almost every day. I will be picking up my old pill (Previfem), which I had a lot better experience on, from the pharmacy soon. My doctor switched me from Previfem to Junel Fe because I was having some small breakouts. BUT I’ll take a small breakout and feeling good mentally and physically on Previfem over feeling horrible but having clear skin on Junel Fe."

"I responded well to the higher progesterone/lower estrogen combination. I only took it for a couple of weeks because I don’t want to commit to artificial hormones, but it helped with the headaches and anxiety that I would get in the second half of my cycle. Since I know my body likes the “progesterone,” I’m going to try some more natural alternatives and see if that helps in case I’d ever want to get pregnant in the future."

For Birth Control "Junel Fe 1/20 worked great the first two months. After that, I’ve been extremely moody and get my period every two weeks. I’ve also had the worst headaches and cramps. I’m trying to get off of this ASAP!"

For Birth Control "This needs to be recalled. I’ve never had headaches like I do with this medication. Nausea, unreal hunger, anxiety, panic. Absolutely awful. I would not recommend to anyone."
