For Birth Control "I started taking Seasonique about 10 months ago. It's worked quite well. My acne isn't as bad as it used to be. I am a little bit more moody, but I can cope with that. I do have some spotting in the middle of the three months, but it's only like a weekish at the most. Overall, I think it's better than having 12 periods a year."

"I have been taking Seasonique for about a month and a half now. I have noticed my breasts are larger, but they are also extremely tender. So much to the point that I cannot sleep putting pressure on them, and wearing my bra is starting to hurt. Also, my skin has broken out more than it did before I started taking the pill. I haven't decided if I like it or not. I think I will finish the prescription if my breast pain ceases."

For Birth Control "I've been on Seasonique for 3 weeks now. I switched because the 4-period-a-year thing got me interested. I've noticed weight gain (I've been eating the same), more acne (I drink lots of water), and I've been way more emotional than I have been in a long time. I'll be calling this week to switch back to my old pill!"

"I just finished my first cycle of Seasonique, and I could not be happier. I was on NuvaRing for about 7 years when suddenly my periods went crazy - horrible cramps, heavy, long-lasting. My doctor suggested Seasonique or an IUD. She sent me home with a package of Seasonique, and I could not be happier. I just finished my first period, and I have to think that I've been missing out until now! It was the lightest period I've ever had - lasted for 3 days and was barely there. I got 0 cramps, which for me is unheard of. I did have one instance of spotting, but it only happened one day. I also did have an acne breakout right before my period started, but hey - I'll take that over cramps ANY day! Sex drive and weight are the same. Highly recommended!"

For Birth Control "I'm 15 and have been using this birth control for about 3 months now. I find it amazing! There is some spotting, but it's okay. As for weight gain, I gained 5 pounds, and on a girl who's 5'1, it looks like a lot. I never had acne ever, and when I started the pill, I had oily skin and acne. There are side effects, but this pill is amazing, and I recommend it to everyone."

For Endometriosis "I was on this for 7 weeks before stopping to try to conceive. It was wonderful in that it finally took away the pelvic pain I continued to have on other pills. I had a light period within three days of stopping it. I've had two full cycles since, and they've both been shorter than usual, with a short (8-10 days) luteal phase. I'm hoping this sorts itself out soon. Unfortunately, I don't see myself taking this again, because it made my migraines much more frequent and gave me fairly bad heart palpitations. A less troubling complaint was increased acne."

For Polycystic Ovary Syndrome "Treated the problem, caused lots of others. Dry, brittle hair, awful acne even after 4 months of use, weight gain - had to resort to calorie counting, am starving 24/7. Caused me one major yeast infection when I first started, and I have never had one in my life, guess the fluctuating hormones can cause them. Am giving it 6 months before I call it quits, hope it gets better soon."

For Birth Control "I was diagnosed with severe anemia, which was caused by my period. (super plus tampon with a maxi pad at all times, changing every hour, 7-9 days, severely painful). Anyway, I was prescribed Seasonique and loved it at first. I took it 20 minutes late one day, so I got my period… it lasted 3 weeks. Basically erasing the progress, but I tried again. Another 2 months, no period, but I missed a day, so I got my period, it lasted over 35 days and one ER trip (the doctor sent me) because it was so heavy and painful. That was it for me lol. Didn’t have any of the common side effects like acne, weight change, mood swings, etc."

For Birth Control "I have been on Seasonique for 3 months now. I recently started to have light breakthrough bleeding and cramps (which I had almost NEVER gotten before). My acne is semi-normal for my young age. Maybe it's a little more severe than usual, but not much. I started reading all the reviews because I was worried about my bleeding and cramps. My side effects are nowhere NEAR as bad as some people's. I still suggest this birth control for anybody thinking about it. It has been AMAZING not having to worry about my period!"

For Birth Control "I was previously on Mirvala consistently for 3 months on, 1 week off to help treat my endometriosis symptoms. That worked for about 2.5 years, when everything started going downhill (breakouts, painful breakthrough bleeding, continuous spotting, painful sex, low libido). My GP had me switch to Indayo (Seasonique). I thought, what the heck, give it a go. 2 years in, and I still get a full breakthrough period halfway through the pills, random cramps all the time, nonexistent libido, the works. I finally went back to my gyno for my second surgery for endo, and he said that's insane that my GP has kept me on Seasonique with these side effects for so long (my GP just kept saying, 'yeah, that will happen for a while until your body gets used to it.'). I'm now being switched to Lolo - let's see how that goes. Not that I wouldn't recommend it, but listen to your body if the side effects are too much to manage. It would have been awesome if it worked as intended, but it didn't for me."

For Birth Control "Seasonique was the first birth control medication I tried. Of course, I was attracted to the idea of 4 periods a year. During my second month of my second cycle of Seasonique, I had breakthrough bleeding for over three weeks when I wasn't supposed to have any bleeding until the end of the third month. I also had moderate weight gain, intense cravings, moderate issues with acne, and hysterical crying episodes. I switched to a birth control where I get my period once a month and have had none of these issues."

For Birth Control "I've been on Seasonique for a year now and absolutely love it. The only things that I've experienced are a little bit of cramping around the time I would normally have a period, but nothing too bad. I have gotten a little more emotional since being on the pill and have had a small acne issue around my jawline, which I had never had before, but nothing that bad. My sex drive did go down a bit in the first couple of months, but then I was back to normal. I highly recommend Seasonique to anyone who's considering it for birth control. I mean, you can't beat only four periods a year."

For Birth Control "Awesome birth control. It helped with my bloating, acne, and mood swings. Also, I only get my period once every 3 months. This pill saved me a lot of trouble, and I would recommend it to anyone."

"I really like this birth control so far. I've been taking it for about two months, and I've had no bleeding at all, no weight gain, or acne. I love this!"

For Birth Control "I have been on Seasonique for about 5 months now. I haven't had much of a period, but I'm under 100 pounds, so the doctor said it was normal. The last week, I have been breaking out pretty bad, and I have had major stomach pains for like 3 days straight. I thought I was pregnant because of the cramps, but looking at the reviews, I'm not the only one. I think my sex drive went down, it's been six weeks, and I haven't had the urge, but I like the pill other than that."
