For Birth Control "Helped with my depression and anxiety, which was a godsend. My anxiety is super bad. I gained about 5 lbs on it, from 125 to 130. No more heavy periods and breast tenderness was gone. All this was great about it. BUT it gave me the worst acne I've ever had in my whole life. Severe cystic acne that ruined my face. I also had very bad constipation."

For Birth Control "When I was first given a sample of this medication by my doctor, I read a bunch of reviews (it had been at least 3 years since I had taken birth control in pill form, I had been previously using Ortho Evra), and I was terrified by the side effects people were experiencing with Seasonique. I tried the medication anyway and didn't have near the problems other people were experiencing. I would definitely recommend this product to other people. I never had the breakthrough bleeding, and my period came and ended on time. The only side effect I had was acne. I suffered from acne when I was a child and teenager, and after having my son, it seemed to clear up. While taking the Seasonique, my acne returned, but not as bad as previously."

For Birth Control "About a week after starting this pill, I started getting extreme cramps, the worst I've ever had. They would last 2-8 hours a day, and no medicine would relieve the pain. I also experienced weight gain and acne."

For Birth Control "I was so excited to try Seasonique and have only 4 periods a year. I've been on it for a year now, and during the first few months, I felt great and didn't notice any side effects. As of the last couple of months, I've noticed some unexplained weight gain, and my face is breaking out. I've never had acne before, and I exercise, so I can only guess it's the hormones. On the bright side, my horrible cramps have disappeared, and my period only lasts a couple of days, although they have been somewhat heavy. I haven't decided if I'm going to try another method and see if these side effects go away."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I've been on this medicine for a little over two years. I started taking it to help with my acne. That's the one thing that's been consistent about it. When I started it in 2013, I bled for a month, which was normal, and then I stopped. It worked really well (only one period every three months) for about a year. Then my pharmacy gave me generic, which screwed everything up. I broke out, bled heavily, and my hormones went crazy. After two weeks on generic, I was forced to pay the fee to get the name brand back. Since then, it hasn't been the same. My ob-gyn says it is because my body is immune to it. I start bleeding two weeks into the pack, spot all the way until my period, and then the process starts all over again. I have gained 20 pounds..."

For Birth Control "I started taking this as birth control about 5 months after the birth of my first child. I am in the middle of week 7, and it's not going good so far. I haven't had any weight gain yet, however, I have headaches almost every day. Along with middle acne, and I've been bleeding enough to use a tampon for about ten days. I'm going to take it until the end of pack one, but being 22 with a 6-month-old, attending school full time, I can't handle the bleeding, headaches, and exhaustion if they continue!"

For Birth Control "I've been on Seasonique for 12 months (switched over from Yaz), and at first, it was okay, but I was always getting my period before I should have gotten it. Now I have gained 10 lbs (that I can't get off), acne (I've never had acne! and I'm 21), and if I forget to take one pill and take it in the morning, I'll get my period instantly! Also, I've been very tired and moodier than normal!"

"I love Seasonique. I have only been on it for five weeks, but I have an increased sex drive, and I haven't gained any weight. I have lost weight, but that's because I am on a healthy diet and work out more. The one thing I have noticed is my breasts are bigger. They are a little on the tender side, but nothing too much. I have noticed I have more pimples, but not too many. But yes, for me, Seasonique has been the best, I love it!"

For Birth Control "This birth control has come with a couple of side effects for me, but overall, I think it's completely worth it, and the side effects are minor and can be controlled. I've been on it for about 1.5 months. This drug gives me no nausea whatsoever, and I have an extremely sensitive stomach. One side effect is it makes me break out a bit. I haven't had acne for several years now, but a couple of weeks into taking this pill, I did start getting bumps. The breakouts aren't too bad, though. The only other thing is I've noticed my appetite increase quite a bit. I normally don't get hungry till 10-11 AM, but the pill makes me starving the second I wake up, and I can consume more food. So just watch your weight while you're on it if that's something you struggle with."

"Before I started this birth control, I would go months (6-7) without a period. I have been on Seasonique for 8 weeks now. The first week everything went fine, but as the weeks progressed, I have been having horrible cramps to where all I can do is lay on the couch. I've experienced headaches, which I have never had before, and severe acne. Lastly, I have had bleeding for 14 days now, which hasn't even begun to lighten up or show signs of stopping soon."

For Birth Control "READ IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING GOING ON SEASONIQUE! I started BC to help with the cramping from my ovarian cyst, heavy period flow, and cystic acne. After getting used to Seasonique, I was in love! My skin cleared up! And a period 4 times a year! I was so happy until now, a year later. Acne is coming back, periods are coming a week early, AND I'VE GAINED 30 POUNDS! I've always been a skinny girl, good appetite, and fast metabolism. I am 5'5, was 110 lbs, and now I am 141 lbs. Gaining this much weight in a year has ruined me mentally but also physically. I have big purple stretch marks on my armpits, back, hips, butt, thighs, inner thighs, and some coming on my calves. I've tried working out, counting calories, changing my diet, and continue to gain weight. I'm devastated. To top things off, I was getting it for free but can no longer get free samples, so I pay $85 CA when others pay nothing for birth control. I am so impatient to be going on a new BC."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I went on this because I had a nonstop period for months and developed severe anemia. My bleeding stopped the next day! Then that day I developed the worst headache of my life, and ever since I have had constant headaches. I have developed cyst-like pimples on my neck and face. They're deep, huge, and painful. I didn't gain weight, but that's because I monitor my calories. I think if I had let myself eat the amount I wanted, then I would have gained weight since I've been more hungrier than normal. I'm also diagnosed with depression but can usually manage it, yet this pill made me have the worst depressive episodes of my life. I don't want to finish the pack, but they were so damn expensive. Do not recommend."

For Birth Control "I've been on this birth control for almost 3 months now. My face is now starting to get acne, and I have NEVER in my life had acne. I've gained 15 pounds in about 3 months, and I feel disgusting. Some days, I feel good, other days, people don't want to be around me. Everyone's body is different, but I'm going off of it."

For Birth Control "I have been on Seasonique for almost 6 months now. I love it. At first, I spotted, cried for no reason, terrible headaches, was very moody, achy, had acne (which I have never had, and I'm almost 20), and was tired, but now it's great. Just take them on time every day and do not miss a pill or you will start spotting. I have no symptoms and do not have to eat with it anymore either."

For Birth Control "Seasonique worked well as birth control. I had no spotting or bleeding during the 3 months I took it. However, it made me very emotional and moody. Also, Seasonique made me break out, which I normally don't."

For Birth Control "I've been using this for about a month and a half. No sign of a period. But I'm breaking out on my chest and back. My breasts have gotten bigger and are nice and firm, which I love. But I've gained about 8 pounds since I started it. It's especially noticeable in my stomach."

For Birth Control "I started taking Seasonique around October after I finished my last pack of Ortho Tri-Cyclen. I was fine with Ortho Tri-Cyclen, but I wanted to try something new. So far, it's been okay. I've noticed my acne has flared up much more than when I was taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen, but I thought it would clear up. As of yet, it hasn't gotten much better. My cramps are definitely not making things any better. It's only been 2 months... So I'll keep on taking Seasonique and hopefully things will improve!"

For Birth Control "I've been on this for about 10 months and have had no problems at all. Some breakthrough bleeding between periods but not frequent enough to bother me. After all, going three months without a period is amazing. I have no complaints at all, everything with my body is normal, no weight gain. I get some pimples when I have my period, like I always have, no different if I'm on a pill or not. Just have a bit of vaginal dryness, but not a big deal, using lubrication is much better anyway."

"I went on Seasonique for PMDD. The first month was hard, was vomiting, very nauseated among other things, but stuck it out. I eventually felt fine, and it took away all my PMS and periods. I had some zits along my jawline and cheeks, but to me, it was worth it. Fast forward to 5 months later. I missed ONE pill, and all hell broke loose. I started spotting, okay normal. Then a lot of blood. I’ve been bleeding for 18 days now. I stopped this birth control 3 days ago, and I am experiencing terrible bloating/gas/anxiety/stomach issues. Just want this drug out of my system."

For Birth Control "I took Seasonique for 2.5 years. I rated it as a 5 because it did its job in that I did not get pregnant. However, I have switched to a monthly pill now (Cryselle 28) because the side effects from this medication were awful. I had migraines at least once a week, I bled for a month straight during my second pack, I had breakouts periodically that I didn't get before, my heart raced consistently (at least 3-4 times per week), and I gained 40 lbs in the past two years. I am a vegetarian and work out at least an hour a day, so I know the weight gain was not due to my lifestyle. While I enjoyed having 4 periods per year once the medication caused me to stop bleeding, it was not worth the ensuing side effects."

For Birth Control "I'm an active 21-year-old who was looking for four periods a year. While I was warned about breakthrough bleeding and spotting between periods, I was not warned that it was possible to have nonstop periods. I'm on my first pack about to finish my last week, and my period began after the first month of Seasonique. Plus, I broke out more than I ever have on any other type of birth control (Nuvaring, Ortho Tri-Cyclen). My doctor informed me she doesn't put young women on this pill. I wish my doctor at school was the same way."

For Birth Control "Honestly, I hate to write these reviews because I feel like they can scare people; however, I have been on Seasonique for 2 months now and have had some weird side effects. I was on Yasmin for a year and had no side effects from the beginning. When I switched to Seasonique, I experienced some nausea, which was normal. Then I started breaking out really bad, which for me was never an issue before, and I'm 21 years old. The part that really concerns me is that I've had a heavy period for 3 weeks that started while going into the second month. My normal periods are light and 4 days. It has also been accompanied by severe headaches. On the upside, I did not gain weight, and I am not pregnant."

For Birth Control "If I could give this birth control a 0, I would because of the side effects. I have been on it for almost 3 months, and I have developed horrible acne all over my chin and side of my cheek. It is red, bumpy, and painful. Makeup won't even cover it effectively. It looks like I have some sort of skin disease. Nothing helps it to go away. I am intensely moody all the time and cry almost daily. I have constant bloating and seem to be gaining weight even though I have not changed my diet or exercise amount. Stopping this immediately and going back to Tri-Cyclen. I wish I had never taken this."

For Birth Control "I've been on it for about 1 1/2 years now, and at first, it worked great at keeping me on a schedule. However, at this point, if I forget to take it just for one day within a month of the day I'm supposed to start the placebo, then I'm going to start on the missed day instead. It seems like it's losing its strength on me because I'm getting more acne around 'that' time. The hormone fluctuations are still pretty obvious to my body because I still get migraines. No change in cramps, but as long as they're not worse, I'm okay with it. With those negatives out of the way, I can say that I haven't gained any weight, and as long as I don't forget, it does a pretty good job of keeping me on the 90-day schedule."

For Birth Control "I was on this birth control for about 8-10 years. At first, it was great only getting your period a few times a year. In the time I was on it, my face started to break out, and I gained about 40 lbs. I was depressed and had no energy or sex drive as well. I would spot for weeks until stopping so I would get my period. I finally got off of it because my health insurance ran out. Almost immediately, my skin cleared up, and I lost 20 lbs. Then I started dating someone, so I had to get back on. I started with Mono-Lynthia, which was fine for my skin but made my hair fall out. I then switched back to Seasonique, and I have been on it for a week and already have had 3 huge zits on my chin and feel extremely moody and bloated."
