Introvale for Birth Control User Reviews

"I got switched to this generic when my insurance refused to pay for the pill I used to be on. This medicine made me spot frequently and for long periods of time. The spotting was mud brown and just enough to have to wear pads for over two weeks at a time. I also developed severe cramps during this time. I was not happy with the medicine, and my doctor switched me to Estarylla a few months ago... which gave me six weeks' worth of heavy periods in the span of just under three months. I have fled back to my Introvale just before three months on my new pills and feel much better. I can't keep living like this and plan to ditch the pills for an IUD in the very near future, but at the moment, it is holding me together pretty well. Introvale worked well for me in the beginning and as a temporary birth control, but as far as long term goes, absolutely not."

"The first three months were tough. I had breakthrough bleeding that lasted over 2 weeks, cramping, and PMS moods. Now, I feel much better. My actual period was very light, and things are looking up!"

"My pharmacy stopped carrying Quasense and switched me over to this stuff. I've gained about 50 pounds since starting extended-cycle birth control 2 years ago, despite no changes in diet or exercise. I also sank into a deep depression, which led to crying spells at work and feeling like I could barely drag myself out of bed. I experienced the joy of migraines for the first time while on this, as well as daily headaches that nothing could get rid of. Also (TMI ALERT), it made my discharge incredibly funky: it came out clear but turned my underwear pale brown and smelled awful. I stopped taking it about a week and a half ago and already look less swollen and bloated, my depression is gone, headaches have stopped, and no more funky discharge! I did attempt to talk to my doctor about this, but she didn't seem to want to listen to me when I told her I thought the pill was making me gain weight. On the plus side, I had no periods the entire time I was on it."
