For Birth Control "Aviane is the worst birth control I have ever taken. It gives me abdominal pain, headaches, extreme nausea, I can't keep any food down, dizziness, etc. I have been on it for almost 3 months now, and I do not recommend it at all."

For Birth Control "So far, I’ve been on this birth control for 5 months. I already had light periods, but they are even lighter now, they do still last about 6-7 days, though. I do get some headaches here and there, but more so when I first started it. They usually feel like a very light pain behind my eye, and it lasts a few seconds, then stops. It might happen one or two more times, then stops completely. I had acne before this birth control and was on acne medication, but since getting on Aviane, I feel like my skin is slightly more receptive to the acne medication. It’s not perfectly clear, but I’m not suffering from as much acne flare-ups anymore either. My boobs have gotten bigger, like over a cup size bigger, they’re not tender, but every once in a while, I get a sharp pain in my boobs. My doctor said it’s hormonal, so I’m assuming from the birth control. Other than that, I don’t have any impact on my mental health, it’s the exact same as before, and so is my sex drive. And no pregnancy scares."

For Birth Control "Headaches, fatigue, and slight dizziness/nausea for the first week of taking this... normal??? I feel pretty gross and am wondering if it’s worth it. Do the symptoms go away once your body gets used to it?"

For Birth Control "I took Aviane for three months. Before I started taking this particular brand, I had very long, heavy periods, little cramps sometimes, and a little PMS before I actually started my period. After I started taking this, I got frequent headaches, tons of cramps, breast tenderness leading up to my period for the full three weeks, and I spotted a little after a week into the pill pack each time. However, it did shorten my period by a day or so, but still very heavy bleeding. I did notice that I was more irritable as well. It didn't affect my acne at all, which I was a little disappointed. I wouldn't say don't try it, but it's definitely not the pill for me."

For Birth Control "I’ve only been on Aviane for 3 days today. I honestly have nothing bad to say about it, though I’ve had slight cramps and fatigue, as well as headaches/migraines. I went into it blind and then decided to look at reviews, honestly, pretty bad. Everyone has their own experience, but mine is definitely not going as bad as some of the reviews I read so far."

For Birth Control "I gained nearly 10 lbs after using this for 6 weeks. I experienced constant nausea, occasional headaches, felt tired ALL of the time to the point of needing an afternoon nap, and extreme bloating."

For Birth Control "It’s my first BC pill, and I am highly nauseous, and my headaches are increased and a lot more painful. Not happy and will not proceed with this therapy any longer."
