For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I started on the patch because of menopause (at age 36, no medical reason, i.e., surgery). I used the patch for about 6 weeks and had to stop because of a rash at the application site. This was no surprise because band-aids give me rashes too. I had no problem with 0.5, but when I moved up to 0.75, I started with the rash."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I have been on Vivelle Dot for two months now, it was fine until the last few weeks. Constant headache, diarrhea, abdominal bloating, and gas, also slight vertigo. I really thought this was going to work for me. I was on 0.0375, a tiny amount. It’s just not worth it, no night sweats, but not worth the trade-off. Will be looking into another HRT. Very sad. Wish they would make something gentle on stomachs."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "The Vivelle-Dot doesn’t work for me and my postmenopausal symptoms. After 3 days of using, I have horrible nausea and breakthrough bleeding. Back to the Mylan estrogen patch (estradiol). I will never try anything else again. Calling doctor now."

For Oophorectomy "I had a complete hysterectomy, but this gave me no relief of hot flashes at all. I feel tired all the time and gained 10 lbs. I have been using the Vivelle Dot 0.05 mg patches for months and thought I would be feeling better by now. Going back to the Dr to get something else because these patches are useless."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "This patch is terrible. It falls off after 1 hour. It's in a dot instead of a square like other estradiol patches. These are cheaply made, and I suspect the worst generic you can waste your money on. Never again, Vivelle-Dot. NEVER!"

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I tried compounded creams, and they didn't work for me. Only one week on this patch, and my hot flashes are almost none, and I'm sleeping much better."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Tried the lowest dose and the next highest dose. They both gave me a headache. Too bad because it did help alleviate the night sweats."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Tried the 0.05 mg patch, which I had to remove 7 hrs later due to extreme nausea. Maybe a lower dosage will alleviate that problem. Waiting for a doctor's call."

For Primary Ovarian Failure "Anyone experiencing a drop-off feeling using the dot after 2-2 1/2 days? Thought about adding some estradiol gel to the dot for this. Suggestions?"

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I had a total hysterectomy when I was 28. I started on Premarin for a few years and then changed to the Vivelle patch for the last 8 years with no side effects. But I was also on the lower doses 0.25 and just recently went up to 0.75."
